"We\'ll have to get you a raincoat," Julian said with a smile, before glancing towards the tent as Gabe mentioned going to bed. He sat up, letting his gaze linger on Gabriel for a moment, apprieciating the angel\'s sense his change in mood and accepting it so readily.

"Yeah, come on," he said, climbing to his feet gracefully then holding out a hand to help up the angel. He checked the fire to make sure that it would die by itself without spreading and being a danger, explaining to the angel what he was doing as he acted.

"You can go in first," he said, gesturing to the entrance of the tent as he lifted up one of the flaps out of the way. He knew that with Gabe\'s wings he would probably be more comfortable getting settled in with more room and with someone holding open the door.

Gabe entered the sturdy tent with an appreciative smile, folding his wings neatly at his sides before settling in atop the air mattress below. He`d been fascinated with the ‘blow-up bed’, equally amazed that it was equip with it`s own motor in which to inflate the velvet bladder. A couple sleeping bags later, and the tent had become quite the comfortable shelter.

Waiting for Jules to join him, he gazed about the dimly lit encasement, imaging what it might be like in the mid of a thunderstorm. Not very safe – he imagined.

“What keeps people from getting in while we sleep?” The angel asked, noting that the zipper flap did not have a locking device of any kind on it.

Julian put in a battery powered lantern into the tent before he slid in beside Gabriel, lying on top of his sleeping bag for now whilst he zipped up the front door of the tent. He gave a chuckle at Gabriel\'s question and slipped into his sleeping bag as he answered.

"Well, we\'re in here for a start. There\'s no reason why anyone would come in, that would just wake us up. All of our valubles are locked in the car and I would hear anyone coming nearby anyway."

Glad that he had brought the double air mattress Julian snuggled closer to Gabe, leaving his arms out of his bag so that he could wrap them around the angel.

"You\'re safe," he added quietly, pressing a kiss to Gabe\'s cheek.

It was difficult to argue the reasoning in that - not that Gabe had been particularly concerned with safety, so much as principal. After all, Jules was a ware shifter and he – well, just one look at his massive wings might be enough to turn a man tail. He was more curious how normal people kept others out. Perhaps the concept was rather the same?

Dismissing the thought, Gabriel followed his lovers lead; snuggling in close and returning the chaste kiss. Time for bed, he reminded himself, feeling a familiar tug in the crotch of his pants. Those would probably need to come off too, if he intended to rest in comfort.

Grimacing, the angel lifted his hips into the air, trying to pull the denim off (a difficult task on the plushy air mattress on which he balanced).

Julian gave a laugh as he watched Gabriel struggling to take off his jeans and he slipped out of his sleeping bag and leant over, helping Gabriel undress and the way that Gabriel\'s movement\'s made the air mattress bounce pulled another chuckle from the shifter. He then copied him, shuffling out of his jeans with a little more skill than Gabriel as it wasn\'t his first time.

He hesitated a moment then rearranged his sleeping bag, and shuffled Gabriel around a bit before zipping their bags together.

"Bit of extra warmth," he explained with a grin, not really wanting to be seperated from Gabriel by two thick bits of material. "Comfy?" he asked, snuggling in closer to his lover.

“I am.” Gabe answered simply, wiling himself to sink further into the bladder of the air mattress as Jules cuddled in close. This felt very comfortable – very right. He easily could see himself falling asleep in such a manner every evening. There was just something a little more intimate about sleeping out in the wild.

Yawning, the blonde pressed a final, lingering kiss to Julian`s forehead before finding his pillow and closing his eyes. “Goodnight, Jules.” He whispered happily.

Good night.

"Goodnight," Julian whispered against Gabe\'s cheek as he gave him a kiss on the cheek. He stayed silent and still as he waited for Gabriel to fall asleep and listened out to hear if anyone was around. He could hear the crackling of the fire growing lower and stayed awake until the sound died away completely. All the while he was listened Jules kept his eyes on Gabriel\'s beautiful face, but he eventually drifted off to sleep as well.
