That reaction was a high-pitched yelp of surprise, and a stricken, wide-eyed expression that could be described a nothing so accurately as \'completely scandalized\', and his crude words only made it worse – so much so that she was left standing there wearing it and trying to think of something to say until he roared past her out of the lot, his speed whipping her hair about her.

Finally, she mustered an exasperated sigh, and turned on a heel, marching toward her own bike, and exiting the lot in a similar manner, peeling off in the opposite direction – toward this year\'s home, and the people she loved.
