Title: Empty Halls
Post by: pinkroses on May 08, 2007, 08:48:42 AM
There was a window open somewhere, or broken, either way, the breeze was easily felt and heard as a high pitched whistle made it\'s way down the cold stone corridor. If you listened carefully you could hear footsteps echoing around the building, constant voices, shouts, the clank of weaponry.

But Jenno wasn\'t listening to any of it, he couldn\'t feel the cold wind or hear the annoying whistle of the wind which came and went. This corridor was rarely used, it was near the top of the building, towards one of the towers and Jenno sat in a huddle underneath a flickering light, a cloak wrapped around himself against the chill that he was ignoring, a large book propped up against his knees.

He lightly traced his finger down the page, reading swiftly and then flipping the page and continuing quickly, not pausing for a moment. Jenno was three quarters of the way through the large book and still going strong, he had taken it out of the library earlier in the day and by the looks of the fragile pages it looked it had been read by hundreds of students before and witnessed various interesting occurances, a couple of the pages had been difficutl to read because of the blood splatter. Still, a book that told about the best ways to disect various parts of the body without killing the victim was bound to have been put to use. Some people would need the diagrams there the first time.

But he wouldn\'t. Jenno could already see the body cut open in his head and was tucking away the information safely in his mind, ready to try out...next time. He didn\'t need the book with him, he would be able to see these intricate words and diagrams in his mind when he needed them and was already combining them with previous information, working out ways to improve on these ancient arts. To keep someone alive, but open and able to see how their bodies were working while they looked up in you with that look in their eyes? That look that showed they knew it would all end soon, but not soon enough. That look he stored in his mind to remember, so he could remember all the good times. They too were stored away in his head like all the information he had processed over the past few years.

Still, his memory of the contents of this book might have been improved by the fact that this was not the first time he had read this book. It had been one of the first he had checked out when he first arrived, and he generally read it about once a year. He didn\'t need to read it to refresh his memory, but he enjoyed reading the familiar words and enjoyed the feeling of already knowing everything it was telling him.

Jenno reached up, tightening the bandana (red, matching his sash) which held back his dark locks as his eyes continued to scan the tiny words. He kept reading, straining his eyes without even realising it in the growing darkness and not hearing the approaching footsteps or seeing the figure who appeared from around a corner.

Silence was sought by many a soul, although the cover of darkness was often the best disguise for this immoral, forbidden practise.
Fingers dancing within the bath of dim ochre, soft toe-treads brought the puppet-master just that little bit closer; blonde tresses bobbing against piled glass beads..

One experiment was stowed here, hidden beneath the loose floorboards - preserved for the moment...but what better night but under the watch of a sickly yellow sphere; and a skyfull of quiet witnesses...?

Pulling midnight silk close to a lithe frame; Nitor skulked so silently into the abandoned hall, animal-like eyes peering suspiciously around the corner...
Company.
Company was never the best catalyst.
Although perhaps the product for a different sort of reaction.

Smile twisting pouting lips, shadows engulfed this particular figure, light kissing the highlights of a defined jawline and shimmering through a spiralling tress as it snaked it\'s way over Jenno\'s shoulder; the husky whisper coupled with moist, humid breath, "Now what would a pretty little thing like you be doing sneaking around at this ungodly time...mmm?"

((apologies for the considerably short length...\'fraid I need to lay down and rest after my lack of blood. ^_^\'\' ))

((Don\'t worry about it :) ))

Jenno didn\'t hear anyone approaching, he was too absorbed in his reading, his greatest failing and something he was constantly reprimanded for, too much focus on what he was doing and not on his surroundings.

But there was no way he couldn\'t notice the face looming over his shoulder and despite not hearing the quiet footsteps he did hear the voice, felt the breath on his cheek and the shadow suddenly blocking of the light to the page. Jenno didn\'t jump or even give any sign that he was surprised at the person\'s appearance, although inside he was already scolding himself. He shut his dark eyes for a moment, suddenly noticing the stinging which came from hours of reading in a dim light and brought his focus away from the written words. He turned his head slightly towards the face, his dark eyes opening once more and drifting over it slowly, vaguely recognising the thin face. Wasn\'t he in his house? He wasn\'t quite sure...he didn\'t usually pay much attention to the other people in the academy.

"Sneaking? Perhaps I should ask you the same?" he murmured in a quiet voice after his tongue sneaked out and lightly wet his dry lips. Jenno rarely spoke at the normal volume and in the silent hallway even his quiet murmur seemed far too loud. He didn\'t think he was sneaking at all, he wasn\'t trying to hide the fact that he was here, he was just sitting, reading. Alright, so he was supposed to be in his room right now, but how was someone supposed to read when your room mate was snoring loud enough to wake the dead? As he waited to see what the other young man (he couldn\'t remember his name just yet, although he was quickly searching his memory) would say Jenno tucked a stray peice of black hair which had escaped from his bandana behind his ear, the white tip flicking out underneath and curling around his lobe.

A stretched, bony finger met Jenno\'s; twirling that strand of sable fluidly behind the other boy\'s ear, a breathy laugh sending sharp jolts of hot breath down his collar, teeth uncomfortably encircling the curve of cartilage with a deathly quiet hissing,
"Sneaking is what I do, my dear."

Snaking downward, digits had already stroked up the length of that sharpened blade...
If force was necessary...
Although, that wasn\'t the way this game was headed, stroking the smooth curve of the pieces with such fervent interest.
Persuasion was best pushed through carnal means, appeal to the body, appeal to the mind.
Rhythmically, fingertips danced little circles around a tense shoulder, exploring down toward a delicate collarbone.

"And apparently, I\'m not alone...mmmm? Always nice to have a little...."

He paused oh-so-briefly to draw away, drawing a deep sniff into those ebony locks, and down a curved neck, letting out a lengthy groan of muffled pleasure, the last word entwined in salacious heat,

"Company."

Jenno stayed still when he felt those sharp teeth closing on his ear but his body relaxed slightly when his fingers rubbed over his shoulder and moved downwards. However although his muscles had relaxed a little Jenno was still very alert and awar of what was going on behind him.

He couldn\'t help admitting to himself that his gentle caress felt nice and the hot breath on his neck sent a tingle down his spine, making Jenno tilt his head backwards to rest lightly on Nitor\'s shoulder although he managed to keep his own moan to himself. He took a slow breath as he slid his heavy book shut and moved it from his knees down to the stone floor beside him, letting his hand rest on it where he knew it was much closer to the small knife attached to his boot. He didn\'t know why this figure might want to hurt him, but he wasn\'t going to put anything past the people in this building. And seduction to put someone off their guard wouldn\'t be a new idea.

"What do you want?" he murmured, turning his head a little from it\'s place on his shoulder to get a better look at the face beside him before letting his tongue snake out and run across the ear beside his mouth then lifting his lips to suck on the lobe. It may have seemed like a ridiculous question given what the other man was doing, but it was rare around here that people wanted something for nothing. Of course, Jenno wasn\'t opposed to a bit of fun, as the gentle sucking on Nitor\'s ear lobe indicated, he just wanted to make sure he wasn\'t going to have to do something else in return.

Gentle pressure on his shoulder satiated the longing for connection between the pair, blonde tresses bobbing downward to wrap further across a midnight-clad shoulder.
Warm saliva finding its way to an attentive ear gathered immediate attention, sharpened teeth baring in a predatorial smirk.
My, my, this was blossoming into a beautiful bouquet.

A musky scent drifted off this lust-driven body, those smooth shoulders over which Nitor\'s robes were sliding, showed off a sun-kissed neckline, shadowy collarbones indented. Skin to skin, as his lips delved beneath a curtain of ebony silk, meeting the nape of Jenno\'s neck tenderly at first before evolving in violence, teeth nipping sharply with the reverberance of soft, rolling purrs - tongue clicking against the roof of a moistened, open mouth.

"Whatever do you think I\'m doing, my dear boy?"

Power surging through that rushing heartbeat and strain of flowing blood, pulsating so rhythmically. Oh, such a beat that struck hard and fast and deep...
Such vibrance, such anticipation. He could almost taste that beautiful metallic sheen on the very tip of a snake-like tongue, blood as a crimson blossom of spreading, encompassing, unforgiving death.
Life, as beautiful as a butterfly\'s translucent fluttering wings...just as beautiful crushed and pinned to a board for eternity, colours, patterns, movement encased forever in one closed hand.

Jenno gave a small smile when he felt the bite on his neck, enjoying the gentle nibble of the sharp teeth and nuzzling his cheek against the soft blonde hair. He lifted his right hand, the one that wasn\'t next to his knife and lightly ran his cold fingers over Nitor\'s neck, gripping and gently digging his nails into the pale skin. He could feel the pulse in Nitor\'s neck under the palm of his hand.

"You didn\'t answer my question," Jenno said, his voice a husky whisper as his hot breath flowed over the other\'s ear. There could be a big difference between what he was doing and what he wanted, one could simply be a step to the other and Jenno was trying to tell himself he wouldn\'t let himself get carried away and distracted until he knew for sure that he was safe, well, as safe as one could be in a building full of murderers. He knew that he had difficulties focusing on more than one thing at a time, if he let himself get carried away he would let his guard down. Fuck, why was it so hard to stay aware and focus?

Throaty vibrations announced the rolling purr, ruffling the hair at the base of Jenno\'s neck, the nails in his own only heightening his desire for such a young, fresh catch.
His equally low, smooth laugh followed suit, "No, I didn\'t, did I?"

Already tempted by this honey-laced trap of his, although it was always nice to indulge with one who wished to indulge. Heavy lids dropped, mostly obscuring vision behind a creamy-gold fringe.
Strong hands found their way to midnight clad shoulders and urged him to turn - face tilted to accept the gaze of another into those sleepless, darkened eyes.

"Rest assured, I want nothing else but you."

One twist of the lips, one slip of the tongue, one gently sliding set of fingers trailing down the curve of Jenno\'s spine so carefully.

Jenno followed Nitor’s urging to turn and moved onto his knees to face him with a smile as his dark eyes wandered over the other’s face.  He didn’t believe for a minute that this young man wanted what he was implying, his words could mean so many different things, but for now he was willing to go along with it. His curiosity had been piqued and Nitor had managed to press all of the right buttons so far and Jenno could see he wasn’t going to get many proper answers out of him.

He lightly rested his hands on his chest as he moved a little closer to him, arranging himself over Nitor’s legs and straddling him. He lifted one hand to run his fingers through his light coloured fringe so that he could see his eyes more clearly. A small smirk still played over his lips as he watched him, he didn’t trust him at all, but he didn’t believe that you have to have trust before you could do anything else with them.

“Just me?” he murmured quietly, cocking an eyebrow. This was either just a passing fancy for this student…or he knew who he was, he might have been following him. That thought was somewhat unnerving, but Jenno decided he should deal with that when, or if, it came to it. “Looks like y’ got me for now, better make the most of it,” he said, his voice still too quiet to echo in the empty corridor as his fingers lightly ran over the robes covering the other\'s chest.

A face of such creamy hue, with shadows encircling intently staring eyes, uncomfortably staring eyes, beneath heavy lids and long lashes - beside perfect juxtapositions of caramel and rich golds, spirals and braids in such an arranged mess, glass beads clicking together as he swayed.

Waiting with hands lifted as if in a surrendering stance, the blonde\'s chin tilted to the sky, observing through his lashes as Jenno subsided and adjusted himself so comfortably - fingers curling over Nitor\'s shoulders.
Sure, he\'d been watching this particular young one for a while...not explicitly, but...
Well, chance knocked at his door, apparently.
Nitor smirked.

Lips parted with a run of a tongue over them, head favouring the left shoulder and one of Jenno\'s hands.
Sweet breath met the other\'s face fully, half exhaled into the night with a flash of sharp canines, a predatorial smirk.

"So I have."

Jenno lifted the thumb of the hand Nitor\'s head rested on and stroked it over the pale skin, staying silent. He didn\'t say much, and that Jenno approved of, but for all his seductive actions, now he was remaining far too still for the dark haired boy\'s liking. Well, Jenno wasn\'t planning on just sitting around and waiting, and he wasn\'t about to make the first move after it had been Nitor sneaking up on him.

He leant forwards slightly, grinding their groins together as his eyes lowered to the other\'s lips. He wet his own slightly, as though he was about to kiss him, hell, it was tempting when he could feel that warm breath on his own, but then he found his feet.

Jenno stood up in a smooth movement and moved to step off Nitor\'s lap, shaking his head slightly.

"Didn\'t make the most of it," he said with a small smile, as he moved away from the other student.

Leaving was perhaps not as simple as previously planned, Nitor\'s boots hooked across the back of Jenno\'s knees with gentle insistence.
It was a sharp pull from his hips that would bring the youth back down toward him, hands following suit as they drifted none too gently to his \'opponent\'s\' shoulders, pushing gradually backward.

"Tsk, tsk...how impatient of you, darling..." he drawled, sharp nails digging their way through thin material, teeth connecting with soft flesh this time his head lurched forward for a violent lunge, filed teeth bared with an appetite for something more than blood....whispering softly, "If you want me to make the most of it, make it worth my while first..."

Nipping at taut skin, he moans the last words breathily, "After all...curiosity killed the cat."

If years of training hadn\'t sped up his reflexes Nitor suddenly pulling him back to the ground could easily have caused Jenno a painful crack to the knees, but instead Jenno managed to steady himself with a hand on the cold stone wall and lowered himself back into his place. He gave a smile when he realised this young man wasn\'t going to let him go so easily, but still didn\'t do much more than talk.

He stayed still, but with relaxed muscles as Nitor nibbled at his neck again. His breathing was slow and calm as he stroked his cheek against the beaded hair, his smile widening as Nitor let out another cliche. Curiousity killed the cat? How did that even fit this situation if he was trying to make him want to stay?

"You\'re not saying much to persuade me," he whispered, not flinching as nails dug painfully into his skin and letting his own hands wander up Nitor\'s arms, coming to rest lightly on his shoulders. "You\'re the one who disturbed me. You\'re the one who has to make the effort. I reckon you\'re just full of hot air. Not really up to acting," he said, drawing his head back slightly with a sly grin at Nitor.

One finger traced it\'s way up the length of a beaded plait, twisting slowly and rhythmically, as his own smile joined the collection, "Why - what conflicting views we appear to have...since, as far as I see it - you\'re the one who shouldn\'t be here, I\'m the one with the authority. So, perhaps by being here...you are disturbing what would otherwise be a quiet duty...and thus, convincing me not to increase your imminent five lashes to fifteen might be worth you while."

Of course, with sash discarded for his shadowy robes - only if Jenno knew him well, could his bluff be called.
A warm tongue drew up the same shoulder previously clawed, as if licking wounds, the free hand now pushing away Jenno\'s robes quite unabashedly, yellowing and unclipped nails a little too rough at some points.

"Of course, with the right persuasion, I could simply report my night watch as uneventful and empty..."

Palms flattened, and pushed Jenno back to the floor, clambering in a sort of crouch over him as fingers left his hair and concentrated on undressing the boy beneath him, his actions devoid of grace and care.

Jenno’s eyes narrowed slightly at the threat, not sure whether or not to believe him. He could easily be a higher level, Jenno hardly paid any attention to the people around him, he focused more on studying than interacting with other people in the school, apart from when practising fighting. If Nitor hadn’t finally begun to properly act on his words than he might have made a greater attempt to get away than he had previously, but instead he was more than willing to let the other student continue, not really caring about the outcome of it. Like most of the people here Jenno wasn’t above bribery, but a few lashes weren’t something he would bother doing it for. This was just for enjoyment.

He shook his arms a little as his robes were pushed from his shoulders, letting them fall off his arms, leaving his torso bare as Jenno twisted his neck to be able to press his lips against Nitor’s neck, returning the licks and nips with enthusiasm. He kept his balance as he was pushed backwards, letting himself fall back to the stone floor, sending a shiver through his body as he hot skin touched the cold stone.

“That’s better,” Jenno murmured with a grin, reaching up and pushing Nitor’s robes from his shoulders as had just been done to himself. He made no attempt to stop himself from being undressed and he lifted his hips to grind against the groin on top of him with a smile. There wasn’t much he could do now from this position to help so he just lay back to let Nitor do the work. Of course, once they were undressed he would do his fair share, but this was how Nitor wanted it like this for now.

A sudden ripping sound tore through the silence as Nitor\'s enthusiastic removal of his victim\'s clothing reached it\'s final few garments, leaving them discarded on the floor as his own simple robes slid down tan shoulders, bearing the self-inflicted scars of necromantic symbols, undressing down to nothing beneath his newly made blanket of discarded snowy grey and black cloth.

Long, curling nails dragged down from the centre of Jenno\'s collar bones to his hips, pausing just before hand to straddle the boy properly.
Shoulders arched, back lifted before Nitor\'s pink tongue trailed down the same route as his nails, although this time not stopping as beneath a veil of plaits and curls, the blonde left a spiral of saliva around his partner\'s shaft, claws firmly tensing just below Jenno\'s ribcage.

"Mmmm..." he agreed wordlessly, seeing little point in the continuation of conversation now that what he wanted was entirely established...

Jenno made no reaction of annoyance as his clothes were ripped, after all, he had others. He lifted his head a little to watch Nitor as his head trailed down his chest, enjoying the feel of the nails scratching down his skin, leaving red trails that would disappear in almost no time. He let out a slow breath as that warm tongue trailed around his shaft, causing his body to react impulsively and he started to get hard. He made no attempt to stop what Nitor was doing, but his upper body remained tense for now, in case the touches suddenly changed to something more aggressive…or at least, became too aggressive and dangerous.

Purrs of enjoyment vibrated the young man\'s throat as blonde locks flopped across the base of Jenno\'s hips, sliding backward as Nitor\'s lips slipped downward, teeth gently grazing the top of his partner\'s shaft, keeping this tensed state, keeping the promise of possible violence, of a sudden outburst....

He rather enjoyed keeping the victim on edge, drawing back with another encirclement of his tongue, slightly heavier pressure, nails digging in and scratching outward.

That rumble of his throaty noises reverberated, sending those vibrations right to his partner\'s hips, long fingers curling around the boy\'s waist, his curling nails still hovering above the skin.
For only a moment, wild eyes took a glance from beneath that mop of hair, wild, malicious eyes...

As tempting as it was to just let himself enjoy the feelings Nitor was stirring up inside him (which were only increased by the feeling of being on the edge, of it being dangerous) there was a small niggling feeling in the back of his mind that he shouldn’t. There was something wrong with this whole situation; no one ever came up here, what were the chances that Nitor would have come at the same time? And behind those scratches, they weren’t just a mixture of his lust, he caught the look he was given. There was more than sexual lust int hat look and Jenno had no plans on his stay at the school ending any time soon.

With one swift movement Jenno sat up and his hand reached forwards, aiming to grab Nitor by the throat with his pale fingers and push him backwards, away from the most sensitive part of his body. There was no malice in Jenno’s eyes, they were blank, as they had been for most of the night. For now, none of this was personal for him. Sex and violence, it was all just part of life at this place and he accepted that and took it all in his stride. But the easiest way to do it was to not let it get to him. You couldn’t hold a grudge because someone beat you in a spar, it just meant you had to practise harder. And to him that was all this encounter was, a spar, but he just wasn’t sure of what sort.

Caught just a little offguard, Nitor drew back as his partner sat up so violently - fingers managing to scrape his neck as it withdrew, leaving similar angry red marks to those decorating Jenno\'s torso in a variety of patterns.
Laconically, leisurely, his tongue protruded to lick his lips, maintaining eye contact as much as he could.

Inhuman eyes.

Once again, a smile private to his own knowledge...
Not quite a coincidence that they had \'accidentally\' met, although not a particularly planned out one.

"I was wondering how long it would take for you to stop trusting me....but I imagine it to be an intelligent move. Whether we continue or not."

Nevertheless, the blonde loosed a smirk.
If it were a fight they were headed toward, all the better.
Tilting his chin, Nitor gazes down an aquiline nose; feet comfortably grounded.
As comfortable as he appeared, he was waiting for the first attack...whether violent or otherwise.
One finger hooked the discarded robes over his shoulder with a smile. Both quite clearly unprotected, and more than likely unarmed.
Although, not all weapons were physical...

Jenno shifted onto his knees as he lowered his hand as his fingers just missed their grip, leaving a scraping of the other soul sucker’s skin under his fingernails. His dark eyes stayed on Nitor’s amber ones; he couldn’t seem top tear his gaze away and didn’t especially wanted to. It was said the eyes were to window of the soul after all and Jenno was watching for any sign that Nitor might attack.

He gave a small, sarcastic smile at his words, although he was silently reprimanding himself for not resisting stronger sooner. “Did I do better or worse than you thought?” he asked, not making any move to cover his naked form, there wasn’t really much point, it would just cause an unneeded distraction. His knife was still in his boot, close enough to reach but Jenno didn’t need that to protect himself if he couldn’t reach it in time. You didn’t belong in Cruori if you couldn’t protect yourself without weapons.

“Why are you here?” he asked calmly, lifting a hand to brush a stray piece of hair back and pulling off his bandana with one hand, his body still tense and ready should anything happen.

Quite slowly redressing himself with that uncanny eye contact still very much intact, the blonde\'s teeth flashed in a cool and languid grin.
On the defensive already?
Satisfied by the building pressure between the pair of them, he began to tie that black rope, deliberately keeping his level unknown, keeping his skill unknown.
For, no student, not even an enthusiastic and highly skilled one would attempt to take on a Level 1 without a death wish.

Thus, with a calm smile, Nitor continued with his casual and unbothered dressing.
One slender eyebrow raised, "Why am I here?" he repeated after Jenno, echoing.

"I like to keep up with my interests...quite literally."

Jenno cocked an eyebrow at his words, not sure exactly what he meant by them, but it couldn’t be good when he as looking at him like that. He either meant that his interests were the things that had brought him to the school, or Jenno had sparked someone’s interest without meaning to. And he knew from experience that being of interest to someone in the place could be the kiss of death.

“Well that’s great for you,” Jenno said, still with no emotion in his voice as he pulled his robes back on over his shoulders, ignoring the fact that he was still half erect. “I must say, you’re pretty good at not giving proper answers,” he added, running a hand through his white tipped locks and wrapped the bandana around on of his hands, tucking it in so that it would stay securely. He could protect himself if he had to so wasn\'t about to panic about this.

Coy smiles were as much a speciality as choice words, hair flicked back behind him with another gentle click of glass. Nonchalantly, Nitor rose to his feet - sparing a private smile for the tingle reminding him of their previous actions.
He reached back with one hand, tying that mess of hair up with one of those tight plaits.

"It\'s a practised skill."

Paused, he watched Jenno for a moment, taking heed of tightened muscles, resolution flickering through focused eyes.
As if to move, the blonde\'s foot slid forward through the thick dust, eyes sparkling with amusement.

"There\'d be no fun in killing you, Jenno Makras. However would I get to know you better?"
Title: Re: Empty Halls

Jenno narrowed his dark eyes a little when his whole name was said; as far as he knew very few of the students knew his full name, although that didn\'t matter very much in a place like this where most of your past was erased when you arrived.

"Some people don\'t care much about getting to know others, they just choose with no thought,"
he said said he re-tied his belt, making sure that his breeches would stay up with just the belt despite being torn by Nitor\'s enthusiastic removal. Jenno wasn\'t one of those thoughtless people. If he was set a task to kill someone he would get to know them properly first, grow to adore them, love them even. Then he could believe that what he was doing was for the best. When you loved someone you wanted things to stay exactly the same forever and how better to preserve the memory of someone than by making sure it could never change?

"You obviously know me, by name at least, what\'s yours?" he asked, pushing himself easily to his feet and once more running his thin fingers through his thick hair.

Clearly, neither was the boy facing him.
Digging for information within a nameless and secret-filled society proved to be quite an intriguing mystery...
A few bribes here and there, more than a handful of favours...it all added up eventually.

"Then, I am not one of those people...evidently."

His view upon death was a romantic notion, the capture of not only a moment...but a lifetime within one action.
The pursuit of perfection was a long and winding path, and one that bore his tentative footprints.
For, if perfection was a puzzle, then here he was collecting pieces.

Jenno Makras was merely a glimmer in a sky of constellations...
Yet, well worth the interest, even if not an addition to the collection.

"Since I seem to have taken yours so rudely without asking, I shall give you mine in return.
Nitor Quant."

“No… good,” Jenno said, stepping back from Nitor and relaxing slightly, the defensive scowl fading from his face, although he wasn’t quite sure why he thought it was so good. If Nitor was planning on killing him then he would rather get the attempt over with that have it stringing out. But at least he was polite enough to give his name, it looked like if they were going to spend more time together then it wouldn’t be at all unpleasant.

“Nitor,” he repeated, rolling the name around his tongue with pleasure, enjoying the sound of it. “Cruori?” he added, cocking an eyebrow questioningly. The figure before him seemed to have the subtly of his house, he hadn’t gone for the crude flash and sparkle of magic and looked and sounded as though he appreciated death as much as Jenno did. The young man usually stayed secluded, it was easier to study alone, but it was nice at times to explore a little and get to know people. Especially when they promised to offer some interest. Meeting people with the same interests could be difficult, more difficult than you would think in a school full of trainee assassins. But there were so many different ways to go about these things, so many techniques, so many who didn’t truly yearn to kill when they should do. Those who didn’t give one hundred percent. And those who were just plain rude.

He guessed that Nitor would already know his house if he knew his name and if he had seen him around the academy then he would also have seen his sash and know what level he was and so they were unasked questions which didn\'t need answering on Jenno\'s side anyhow.

"The only house worth belonging to...of course."

His smile danced briefly, for although he knew Jenno\'s name through a few odd favours with practising masters of the Cruori house, he knew nothing of the boy\'s habits..nothing of their similarities.
This was a chance pick from Jenno\'s abilities, his mentioned finesse...
Not from the romance that followed in the wake of orchestrated and meticulously beautiful death, a habit, a hobby that the pair shared.

"In death, there should always be choice..., it is an artform rarely mastered. Although I intend to be amongst the few."

A small smile flickered across Jenno’s face, lighting up his eyes with a friendly gleam rather than the previous look of lust or suspicion  and he gave a small nod. “Looks like we have more in common than I first thought,” he murmured quietly, his eyes wondering over the other student again, seeing him differently now. He believed methods of killing were the far more important thing to learn in this place than simply killing as many people as possible. That was just a pointless waste of life and Jenno did value life, those last few minutes, keeping someone on the very brink of life and watching whilst they realise what you had just done for them, that was a moment to be cherished.

“One fault of mine is that I often fail to pay enough attention to the world around me,” Jenno said, bending down and scooping up the book which had been discarded in the tussle and letting it hang in his left hand by his side. “And so I apologise that I know nothing about you other than what you have told me. I know very little about most of the students…unless they catch my attention which you have only just done,” he added, his face finally breaking into a proper grin, but still with a sly sparkle in his dark eyes. “I imagine there might be a lot we could learn from one another.”

Perhaps there was more to this than pure somatic interest...here was a potential partner in his hobbies...someone to share such exquisite moments of death with...
Curling his finger around one ringlet, and springing it back in thought, Nitor\'s teeth flashed, "Well, indeed...my dear Jenno, you shall know as much about as me as you wish to know..."

Perhaps a lie, perhaps not...
If they were so similar in determination as well as they were with their methods, then Jenno would find means of discovery for every curiosity.
A useful skill in all situations.

"I often become far too involved in my..projects to pay attention to other things around me, such as rules...and schedule, so perhaps we are similar in our weaknesses also.."

His lips curled upwards into a smile as he shook his head slightly, “There’s always more to know,” he said quietly. He could find out what he wanted to, but after finding out one thing there were always more things about someone to spark his curiosity. His schedule was something Jenno could usually keep to though, he loved the lessons here and way always eager to turn up to them on time, he wouldn’t want to miss something that might be vitally important. The smallest detail could keep someone on the cusp of life for those vital few more minutes or disable a dangerous opponent. So they were similar, but there were also big differences.

But as Jenno’s eyes drifted down over Nitor once more he was definitely considering their similarities more, especially picking up where they had left off now that he knew Nitor wasn’t about to attack him.

“I can think of one way I would like to get to know you a little better right now,” he murmured, his eyes lingering pointedly on Nitor’s groin before he lifted them up to meet his new acquaintance’s with a small grin, taking a step closer to him again.

Fingering the lapels of his robes, Nitor\'s smirk spread in an echo of the boy opposite him, eyes lifting to assess his new...\'friend\'.
"Oh of course, of course...although when one is enjoying himself so, it is so very easy to become," he pauses, hands waving as if searching for a foreign word, "..lost in the moment, as it were."

The lighting catches the brows over hollowed sockets eerily, skeletal facial features twisted into an expression of gentle humour.

"However, if we are to attempt a similar captivating moment, might I suggest a slightly more comfortable setting?
Atmospheric as it may be, the halls are rather cold at this time of year."

An open, lingering invitation, his stance open and accepting.
Always something more to learn.

Jenno gave a small murmur of agreement, he knew exactly what Nitor was talking about. He all to often got too involved in his business and it would take an awful lot for him to snap out of it. His dark eyes stayed fixed on Nitor’s, examining him closely. The man opposite him wasn’t as handsome as some of those the assassin had bedded, but there was something more about Nitor, something that made him different to the others and that was more important than charming good looks.

“Where did you have in mind?” he asked with a smirk, his hands clasped behind his back. Even if he didn’t have a snoring roommate in his room Jenno wouldn’t have invited Nitor back there. He rarely took people back to his room and definitely not people he had only just met, it was unwise to give away the only real place you would have to hide securely in in this building. Most rooms were guarded by charms that did more than simple locks and for those who didn’t use magic there were still numerous traps which could be set so that if someone did begin to pay too much attention there was still somewhere safe to retreat to. Jenno considered just letting someone through the door to be very foolhardy.

With a relaxed, nonchalant wave of his hand, Nitor stated quite calmly, "My room of course."
His own was less of a sanctuary...it couldn\'t be a safe place with the boy he was with, after all - one of the most unpredictable, easily angered boys of the Academy itself.

Although, no trouble once you knew how to manipulate him.

Hooking one finger beneath Jenno\'s collar playfully, Nitor gave a little tug.
"Follow me."
His personal sanctuary was a little different, a little better protected; and in fact, that was exactly what he was leading Jenno away from under this quite useful excuse of somatic, carnal urges.
Just one step away from discovering Nitor\'s hoarde...and that couldn\'t possibly happen, because then...he really WOULD have to kill this pretty boy he\'d so miraculously found.

"And stay quiet...my room-mate doesn\'t like to be disturbed unless there\'s something in it for him..."

Which, of course, there might be.

Jenno gave a grin when Nitor tugged at his collar, but followed without resistance. If Nitor had no problem about getting close with someone else in the room then Jenno didn’t either, just as long as it wasn’t in his room.

“Mmm, don’t worry, I know how to be quiet,” he murmured, leaning close to Nitor and lightly licking his ear, before giving him a small wink and slipping his arm around the other assassin’s waist (although depending on who he shared with maybe it would be fun to have someone else involved). He knew nothing about the secrets Nitor kept in the deserted hallway, he’d gone up there plenty of time, but simply to read, not to snoop and at any sign of defences that would take some time to avoid or undo he would stop and simply stay where he was. He didn’t need to go further than just reading and didn’t like to cause trouble when there was no need. After all, everyone had their secrets and unless he had good reason Jenno liked to keep things impersonal.

He fell silent then, letting Nitor lead him to his room in silence. They were out after hours after all and he didn’t want to attract any unwanted attention. Being punished for being out was almost the opposite from what he had planned for tonight.

((You can make a new thread in Nitor\'s room if you want, or stay in this one, I don\'t mind :) ))

Nitor\'s grasp around Jenno\'s wrist was none too gentle as the other boy was yanked rather harshly around the corner to avoid the prowling prefects on duty for the evening. A flash of his eyes revealed his blatant lie earlier about being one of those Level Ones on duty...

However, with a fair bit of quiet footsteps and violent direction, Nitor dragged the other boy toward his room, ordering him to turn away whilst he undid the complex locking mechanism that his room-mate and he had set up so meticulously...

A click and a swing of the door later revealed that his room-mate was very much awake, and awaiting with a look that could only be described as hunger.

"Nitor, that took you long enough," he snapped rather impatiently, curling bright cherry red hair behind one ear.
And indeed, this particular boy was well known as a loose cannon amongst the Cruori students. Intensely talented, but completely insane, vicious, and uncontrollable.
Slowly, a calm smile cracked across his pale visage.

"Although, at least you brought entertainment."

Jenno wasn’t surprised by the violent tugs, not did he try to resist them. He knew it wouldn’t be wise to be caught out of bed at this time, although he did smile inwardly to know that he hadn’t been wrong about Nitor lying about his level. He didn’t saying anything about it though and stayed silent, both vocally and in his movements as the made their way back towards the student bedrooms, he wasn’t about to get them caught.

He rolled his eyes and looked away as Nitor wished when they finally reached the door, understanding exactly why it was needed, although he hoped that getting out wasn’t going to be as much of a chore. After stepping (a little hesitantly) inside, his attention was quickly grabbed by the other person in the room and his fingers instinctively tightened an undetectable amount around the leather-bound book which hung by his side. Jenno may not pay much attention to what was going on around him, but it was difficult to learn in class or in the training grounds sometimes when the teacher’s attention was grabbed by the disruptive red head in the next room, or the next obstacle if they were doing physical training. But Jenno, perhaps foolishly, wasn’t afraid and after his eyes cast around the room with interest they settled once more on the smiling young man before him. Entertainment? Well, he would wait to see what was meant by that before acting; there was no point in causing a ruckus over what could be a joke.

“Good evening,” Jenno said quietly, his voice just over a whisper, but that was normal, not caused by fear. Then, as he shifted both hands to rest behind his back, one still holding the large book with ease, he gave the only sign that he didn’t know exactly what was going on, by glancing towards Nitor and raising one eyebrow slightly, a small smile playing on his lips.

Quite sharply, the redhead snorted with laughter, lips still tightly closed in a thin, impatient smile.
"Well, close the door behind you," he snapped, curling a very white, and shaking hand up around a strand of escaping hair. Beneath this dim light, his skin still shone ethereally, as if translucent - webs of veins showing beneath a washed-out tan...his finger shook violently as it hung in mid-air above the page he had been on, and circles of fatigue stained his eyes.

Nitor obeyed quickly, kicking it shut with one foot. No point in reestablishing his locks while they still had company...
Quite smoothly, his hands slid around Jenno\'s neck from where he had slipped in behind the other boy, warm breath licking the top of one ear before the blonde\'s teeth once again bared, biting down hard on the cartilage, a low rumble murmuring from his throat...

Keeping eye contact, the redhead smirked.
This was quite an ordinary practise for the little sadist...usually they resisted a little more.
Amused, the corner of his lips parted to let out a low laugh.

Jenno’s eyes turned back to the redhead before him whilst Nitor shut the door (noting that he hadn’t bothered to re-lock them unless it was a silent lock). He moved his dark gaze over the young man, wondering for a brief moment why he looked so ill, maybe he was just tired, but everyone around here was tired after a long day at work and that look didn’t come just from a few days hard toil.

He blink quickly when he felt the teeth slipping through his cartilage and clenched his teeth behind closed lips, but other than that made no sign of pain and he definitely didn’t flinch away; he didn’t want the cartilage to rip and lose the top of his ear or create a slit that wouldn’t heal. Silently reprimanding himself for being such a fool for coming here Jenno’s dark eyes stayed fixed on the redhead’s, wondering what exactly the two had planned and how often the had done it before to fools like him. But he was more annoyed at himself than these two, Jenno rarely let his emotions get a hold of him, especially in situations like this so despite the stinging pain in his ear and the uncomfortable feeling of being pierced by someone’s teeth Jenno wasn’t thinking about getting his own back, he was simply wondering if Nitor had recently cleaned his teeth. Filthy thing, the human mouth. It would be typical if he got out of here alive just to lose his life because of blood poisoning.

And so he didn’t move or say anything that might antagonise the creature with his teeth in his ear, it would be wiser for now to find out what they wanted without annoying Nitor for this moment so that he kept his ear. Any movements and it could easily rip. Jenno gave a small smile as the red head laughed, wondering what exactly he expected Jenno to do now, fight back, two against one? Jenno already knew he was awful at that, one on one was much more his style (unfortunately). Rip his ear off? Yell? Scream? Ask to be allowed to leave? Well, that wasn\'t likely to work.

Violent intentions seemed all part of affection as the rough surface of Nitor\'s tongue streaked the pinprick of blood across the top of Jenno\'s ear, the clamp of his teeth loosening to  brush his head further downward, breathing heavily on the other\'s neck.

Spidery hands found again the collar of black robes, pulling them away from the shoulders he was now level with.
The redhead\'s eyebrow raised, seeming to tense ever so slightly as Nitor drew away from Jenno\'s ear, eyes fixed on those sharpened, yellowing teeth as they once again found soft skin, nipping at the boy\'s neck in something like a playful way.

"You -did- want to get to know me better...didn\'t you?" he whispered into Jenno\'s stinging ear, grip tight around a slender waist.
"Because I feel exactly the same.."

The redhead\'s eyes flashed for a moment, deep crimson flooding into them for a split second before he blinked, that arrogant smirk painted across his face.

Jenno couldn’t help but tilt his head back slightly, enjoying the hot breath and closeness of Nitor to him despite the stinging pain in his ear. In fact the contract was pretty enjoyable. He turned his head so that he could see the student he had met in the corridor, but didn’t pull out of his grip to turn around in his arms. One hand slid backward to smooth over Nitor’s waist, not entirely sure how to react. He could be trying to lull him into a false sense of security… or the taste of blood did it for him.

“As long as it’s me, not my insides you want to get to know,” he murmured, ignoring the fact that there was someone else in the room as he pressed back against Nitor, pressing his hip against the student’s groin and grinding lightly against him. “You like the taste of my blood?” he asked quietly, lifting his hand and lightly running his index finger along Nitor’s lower lip and not pulling back if Nitor choose to accept the small offer he was being given now. "Do you want more?"

[I\'m sorry for disappearing for so loooong! -pokes self- I\'m being really terrible with replying on time. v_v)

Definitely the former it seemed, as the blonde let out a half-growl, half purr deep within his throat in reply to the offer, feeling that hip against him - urging backward.
Teeth bared hungrily, long fingers smoothing their way across Jenno\'s arms and across his chest, exploring bit by bit...

"Mmmm..."

As that finger teased him, his teeth sank into it slowly, eyes watching Jenno in that sultry manner from earlier in the evening.
This was where they were headed...for the second time.
Perhaps this time, they would reach the destination.

In contrast to Nitor\'s relaxed stance, the redhead on the bed seemed to have lost his own collected presence; eyes sharply fixed on those sharpened teeth...the blood that they squeezed from beneath the skin in pinprick wounds...the blood...
He looked away, seemingly paler and more gaunt than before, fists tightening.

His room-mate wasn\'t supposed to be playing with his food...

((No worries, at least you came back!))

The corners of Jenno’s lips turned upwards as the teeth sank into his skin, watching as the drops of blood appeared and he wriggled his finger a little, sending a drop onto Nitor’s lip where it spread with his saliva and Jenno’s tongue flickered out, licking his own lips. He took a deep breath as he twisted his hand to run a thumb along Nitor’s lip, but didn’t take away his finger tip from the grip of those sharpened teeth.

Finally Jenno turned around in Nitor’s arms, pressing his body against the other student’s and his hips against his groin again before letting his dark eyes flicker towards the redhead.

“More?” he murmured, not sure what to think about how the roommate was reacting to their display, but still finding focusing on two people difficult. He gently pressed his lips against the corner of Nitor’s mouth, closing his lips around Nitor’s top one and allowing his companion access to his lower to do with what he would. And if that a bit more blood… Did it matter?

Arms encircled the other boy, pulling him closer still for that intoxicating sensation of skin against skin, that moist breath needed like an addiction.
Heavy lidded dark eyes rolled back beneath their lids, taken over with a moment of rapture as he hissed between still tightly clenched teeth, "Mmm...mmmm...m-more.."

The redhead turned his body away, nose wrinkling to the audience of the wall..
Only with the snap of his head backwards did he catch dark eyes staring at his own deep red ones, accusingly holding the gaze.
Hungrily holding the gaze.

A long, low moan erupted from Nitor, neck arching backward, hips pushing hard against Jenno\'s, shivers coursing through him at his somatic reaction.

Jenno sucked eagerly on Nitor’s upper lip, tasting his own blood in the other boy’s mouth and, to his surprise, enjoying that metallic taste. His half lidded eyes stayed now on Nitor’s face, noticing when he looked at the redhead, but not following his gaze. His hand dropped downwards as Nitor moaned and pressed against him, cupping his penis through the cloth of his trousers and rubbing the sensitive member firmly. He bit down hard on his own lip, letting out some more blood which he pressed again against the other’s mouth, before catching his lip between his teeth and biting down hard, mingling their blood between their lips.

Nitor\'s gasped increased in intensity, moaning low into that hard grazing of their mouths, pushed violently into a bloody kiss.
A trickle of crimson snaked it\'s way down his chin like a guilty smear of a messy eater after indulging.
And that he was, arching against that stroking touch through his loose linen trousers.

A moment later, with reddened lips and agitated fever, Nitor put his hands on Jenno\'s shoulders, pushing him back against the wall, toward the desk.
An urging movement went to spin him, one of Nitor\'s own hands snaking down toward his groin, where he loosened the belt, allowing himself freed from the restriction of his clothing, standing in nothing but the robe sliding down his shoulders.
Title: Re: Empty Halls

Jenno let Nitor push him backwards until he banged against the desk and his pale fingers clenched around the edge of the wood and he dug in his fingernails as he watched him, licking the blood from his lips. He’d almost completely forgotten about the room mate’s presence and turned around at the urging of Nitor’s strong fingers, his own erection rubbing against the desk as he reached behind him and grabbed for Nitor’s behind, pulling him closer as his other hand did exactly as Nitor’s had been doing and loosening his clothing, letting his trousers drop down. His head turned so that he could watch Nitor’s movements from where he was as he leant forwards over the desk expectant and ready as he spread his legs.

“Come on then,” he murmured, his dark eyes fixed as well as they could be on Nitor’s from the angle he was at, eager and willing for whatever the other student would do to him.

With the silk black sash of his robes, Nitor wound a blindfold around the boy\'s eyes, tying the knot tight at the back of his head before whispering,
"Close all other senses..."

Following his strange remark, fingertips slid so lightly down the exposed frame of his partner, quietly admiring the beautiful skin that was now his canvas upon which to paint a scene of carnal desire.
Those dark eyes made him seem too...
Alive.

With hands grasping at his own heated skin, nails dug into Jenno\'s shoulders, forcing him down onto the desk, the knot of his sash bobbing gently as Nitor\'s hips pushed forward to obey his uttered request.
Title: Re: Empty Halls
Post by: pinkroses on October 06, 2007, 05:34:34 AM
Jenno tensed up a little at the blindfold, but didn’t protest or attempt to stop it. His other senses immediately perked up, listening to Nitor’s heavy breathing and feeling his fingers playing over his own smooth, pale skin. He leant over as urged to, his fingers gripping the wooden desk and he let out a moan of mixed pleasure and pain as Nitor finally pressed his hot erection into Jenno with no preparation. Behind the blindfold Jenno squeezed his eyes shut, forcing his body to relax rather than tense up with the pain of being entered so roughly, fortunately he had his body well trained and it didn’t take too much effort.

His breathing matched Nitor’s, gasping for breath as his body instinctively moved, pressing back against his companion and forcing him in further as one hand dropped to his own erection and he began to pump in time with the rhythm of Nitor’s thrusts.

[I\'ve missed youuuu~ <3]

Satisfied with the rhythmic gasps, Nitor\'s hips rocked with the same timing, breaking himself into a perfectly timed pattern.
Now that those emotional eyes were no longer watching him so carefully, with their long lashes and questioning gaze.
He just...couldn\'t stand that feeling of scrutiny...no, no, with the knot bobbing at the back of his head as Jenno\'s hands slid down his own body, he was beautiful. Oh, yes...much more so.
He was better this way, his bare back arched.

Smiling to himself between his pleasured sounds, Nitor traced his fingers over the vertebrae visible beneath the skin where Jenno\'s spine curved in such a smooth arch.
Simple visual pleasures.

The rhythm continued, the gasping turning to moans, to long and half-strained utterances of pleasure, restrained by keeping his lips tightly together.
Despite this continuation, a sudden sharp pain shot across Jenno\'s shoulder as something sharp pierced the skin, sticky crimson warmth trickling down his chest, and the tickling feeling of something soft brushing his cheek, perhaps just Nitor teasing his senses again..

Jenno gave a gasp of surprise and pain as he felt something pierce his shoulder blade and his body tensed up as he pressed back against Nitor. He didn’t pull away from it though, he lifted a hand and pulled the blindfold down from his eyes, turning his head to look sideways to see what his companion was doing and making sure it wasn’t too serious. A little pain he could handle, he just liked to know what it was and make sure it wasn’t going to cause any lasting damage. His hips continued to move, unwilling to stop the pleasure that was sending through his body.

The mix of pleasure and pain was nice, the shock of the pain off set the pleasure nicely, enhancing it delightfully. They only bit he didn’t like was the surprise and not knowing exactly what was happening.

Drawing back across his shoulder were strands of cherry red hair, a freezing cold hand snaking it\'s way across the front of his neck carefully as the blindfold dropped.
As if in a trance, Nitor\'s room-mate was arched over the shorter boy with his eyes half-closed and his long bony fingers tracing little lines across this new victim\'s veins - seemingly ignoring Nitor and his whimpers.

In fact, Nitor seemed to be ignoring him as well, until he reached an arm back, and slid two fingers up the back of their new companion, playing across sallow skin none-too-gently.
His head dipped, muffling his moans by biting into Jenno\'s other shoulder, the redhead lifting gradually to meet eyes with Jenno.
With blood staining his bottom lip, he ran a tongue over his teeth...
Title: Re: Empty Halls

Jenno watched Nitor’s roommate steadily, still vaguely aware of Nitor himself still thrusting into him. He took a slow breath and instinctively ran a tongue over his lips as the redhead’s tongue moved. If the vampire hadn’t already bitten him Jenno might have struggled and tried to get away, but the bite was already having an effect on him, making him relax and it was really quite a pleasant feeling… as long as he didn’t die. He knew exactly what was going on straight away and didn’t flinch as Nitor’s teeth dug into his shoulder.

The dark haired boy lifted a hand from the table and reached over his shoulder to lightly touch the red strands of hair. It really was a fascinating situation, Jenno had seen vampires and studied them before, but he’d never actually been fed from by one. If the redhead was surviving in the school he couldn’t be killing everyone he fed from, so Jenno knew he probably wasn’t in that much danger.

“Keep going, but don’t kill me,” he said quietly. His voice didn’t sound demanding, but it didn’t sound like a plea either. It sounded like Jenno had resigned himself to what was going on, and didn’t really care what happened, although he would prefer to survive if given the choice.
