Old Roleplays / Re: When the wind speaks

Gannon let out a long sigh. This was true. He would have to leave soon when the sun began to rise, and so he’d comply to her wishes. He still did not intend on telling the truth- for by now, he didn’t even know what was the truth anymore. Slowly the vampire climbed back into the water, rage-filled now, swam to the shore, and still keeping a distance, stared at the werewolf.

“You aren’t much to fool, anyway. You are splitting my nerves as well.” He said irritated.

He had expected someone with an open mind, someone, like many before, who was a fool, to be led on by his lies. Bother, this one wouldn’t be lied to. He could slip some truth in it, or tell more realistic lies, things that were hardly so bad to lie about. The vampire looked to the moon and stars, trying to calm himself. He should have kept that knife he’d acquired a few weeks ago. He could do a hella lot of stabbing into that creature, or any creature really, a this point.

Gannon decided he was stuck. It had been dumb, irrational thoughts but he was not very rational a this point. He was rarely ever in a position like this, always in power and control, and he now found that more often the usual he was being faced with situations where he was like a bug: Helpless, and easily to rid of. Gannon was not panicking, but expirencing more of  an extreme rage. However, he didn’t have a weapon…he didn’t have anything. How was he to pose a battle, or anything, without a weapon? He was now drenched from the water, and in no better of a position then he was before.

“Who said I believed in vampirism beliefs? No, these aren’t beliefs, they are true. We had met in three lives, as I had said before, which had been human and vampire. But I expected her, you see, and here you show up. I see your souls are very similar--perhaps you are not the full soul of my lost love, but entwined. It happens, sometimes. It will stay until a ritual is performed that her soul can drift on, so she may reincarnate. She has been stuck for some time now…I know not what went wrong.”

Gannon continued on his babbling. The waterfall was very loud, though, and he assumed she would have perhaps enhanced hearing with her werewolf form, as to hear him. He felt a lot safer behind the falls, for he knew she could not accurately aim at him.

As the arrows darted past him Gannon took swift movements. He looked at the werewolf viciously, and spoke in a somewhat slowed down tone, with something suspicious about it.

You are wrong, if you think your weapon gives you power over me. Soon you will see, that is not so.” He boomed.

Gannon gave a big grin. He had decided his next course of action. Since he could not unarm her without suffering injuries of his own, he took one swift move and dived into the pool of water next to him. There he swam under the water, holding his breathe, waiting. No air bubbles resided to the surface, and it would be nearly impossible to see where he was under the rippling water and the roaring sound of the waterfall. He quickly swam under the waterfall, which nearly drowned him, but he finally made it to the other side onto a small ledge.

It was almost obvious where he had gone; there was nowhere else to go. But the fact that he had darted off and done such a trick, pulled such a stunt when he could have easily been shot in the neck, was almost insane. He was insane. This Lyra was starting to piss him off. He could be very aggressive when angry, and he thought he might give her a little warning. As soon as she looked around for him, he planned to attack in any way he could. But would she look? He was sure he had threatened her. Surely, such a being couldn’t pass up the opportunity for such an outstanding challenge.

Gannon’s eyes shifted from Lyra’s weapon to her face. He did not like this at all, and he would have to figure out a way to disarm her. He started to think up a plan as he also responded to Lyra’s words. She knew he was lying. He knew that most people knew when he was lying; however they couldn\'t tell when he was telling the truth, making it was always a race to pick apart the truth from lies. Gannon knew there was no such Vespera; he had turned not one person in his entire life, but he was very lonely lately and if he had a follower, perhaps his lonely hours would be more bearable.

“Vespera, she was a mortal. Was. Then she was a vampire. Was. But now, she is simply a wandering lost soul. Her body died years ago…but she promised to return, at this precise spot, on the anniversary of her crossing. She was not just any vampire, but my soul mate. We had found each other three times previous, for I had been slain once, and the other two lives we had shared together we had died together, in rest. Perhaps her soul has taken upon yours when you were bitten, hmm?” Gannon said.

It was complete mumble jumble that he was beginning to believe himself. Why, he knew none of these were true, but he wanted to so desperately believe that he had something to hold onto. Perhaps it was easy to see he was lying. But it was such a beautiful lie, really. So romantic. Two vampires, soul mates, finding each other for the third time, when one was unrepentantly slain, the other, left alone, with the promise that she would one day return. It was so provoking to emotions deep inside most humans, a human would have bought it in an instant. Even in the savage heart of a werewolf, or a vampire, it could tickle an place in the heart they thought they had lost. But, Ah, such lies.

How to unarm her? Gannon wondered. How do I make her less hostile? He questioned.

Gannon laughed loudly. He was born mortal, although he sparsely remembered much of it. She was a werewolf; a monster, half wolf half man! Half of her would always be a disgrace to the supernatural world. He had great hatred for all kinds of beings, especially those who implied they were great. They were all fools, including himself, but he was the best of the fools, the biggest fool of them all and he took much pride in it. He decided to drop the comment about his own human-hood, because it was of less importance. He decided to them push further into his story. She was already full of skeptics; this was good.

“You lie, you lie a lot. You have a soul. When you were bitten, probably when you were younger, huh? You were bitten, and it was so very frighting. It shattered your entire life. But it made you powerful, you gained, you gained a lot. My first crossing, she gained a lot. You look a lot like she did, my sweet Vespera.” He said the first with great venom, and the last with such a sweet sugar coated tone that could almost make you forget he was a vampire, a creature of darkness and total evil.

Retired Characters / Darshan Landoni
« on: November 06, 2007, 10:31:45 AM »
Darshan Landoni

Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Age [appearance]: 25 years of age

Age [actual]: 400 years

Gender: Male

Species: Angel

Appearance

Hair: Darshan’s hair is somewhere between a golden white color, cut at about shoulder length. This angel has very thick hair, but thins it out and manages to keep it in order most of the time. Darshan will occasionally gel his hair back or try something new, but his hairstyle is always very subdue looking to best compliment his face. Of course with being an angel, he is almost completely flawless in appearance, and Darshan will never have a fly away, never even having a chance of a ‘bad hair day’.

Eyes: Darshan’s eyes have seen much. Many hardships, many battles, many good and many evils. But more, he has seen lots of the human culture and less so of the mystical kind. Darshan has never encounter another of his kind, and hardly has much experience with any species but vampires, who were all over Europe in the late 1600’s.  His eyes in particular shine in a way that is not all that stunning but more observant. The dark pools of green behold many mysterious, but are no what to look at for anwers. Darshan can hold poker faces all day long, and is extremely well at handling his emotions and behaviors in a way that will not be detected by others if he does not wish it to be.

Frame: Darshan’s body is made to be perfect in every way. It is very muscular and manly, yet like a model’s body. His body is matured to about a twenty five year old man’s, and at that, a model. There is no hair in questionable places like the back, legs, arms, and other places where it may be annoying. It is as if someone simply waxed it off. His skin is smooth, sensitive, and fairly tanned out. But the stucture of Dashan’s body is slightly different then a human’s. His bones are slightly bigger, making him an easy 6’2. His legs, arms, stomach, are all toned, except for the left side of his belly which is his weak spot, sensitive and easy to target, he uses the left side more often to cuddle with. He is very strong in nature and his body muscle structure is like a body builders, although proportioned for his size. Overall, Darshan’s body is a palace for anyone who has tusked away his heart.

Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: Darshan has always felt there was no need for silly tatoos or markings. Although in the past he has considered Angel markings, he has not given in but one time. He once got a ‘tattoo’, but not of a human kind. It is sort of engraved in scarred tissue that is slightly darker then the rest of his skin that almost sort of glows, and the it spells out the word “Truth”, directly in the right palm of his hand. This angel hold\'s truth above his own name- and that\'s a lot, considering the size of his ego. No matter what may occur, he believes everyone is untainted if they are truthful. Actions of immorals do not qualify and make you sinful unless you are dishonest; which may be interpreted several ways. This principle often tends to leave the angel with limited acquaintances, for he can sense knowingly a lie from the truth, and will often scold others for lying.

Personality: Have you ever met someone who was completely full of themselves?  Now you have. Darshan Landoni is one of the most self centered, conceited people you will ever meet; and can you blame him? Being an angel is an honor. He was made to appear like a god, crowning and unblemished in every single bearing. But then again; he was made to appear like a god. Like most who are gifted with the thoughts of vanity they often fail to realize what others truly perceive them as. While he strains himself to appear as wonderful as he thinks himself up to be, others do not react so well. So much to say for humans, however, who will gladly give into him godlike appeal without a fight. Since most of his encounters for a huge portion of his life had been with the human race, Darshan has had the power to manipulete his contacts effortlessly. However, while approaching the new species he’s not had much experience with, Darshan finds it is a lot harder to sway this larger auidence. Even more disturbing is the percent of which are creatures of darkness, who believe in the shadier sides of life. With the same might, power, and integrity he puts into his human efforts, Darshan tries so desperately to point out the errors of his fellow supernatural’s ways.  But you see, creatures of the night are called creatures of a night for a reason; they like their lifestyle, and they aren’t willing to reform just because some ‘god of angel’ has spoken to them. These types of beings find it easy to scoff in the angel’s face, call him a pretty boy, and spit on the very ground we walks. How repulsive! But this does not waiver Darshan for his everlasting quest to inform all of his abundant knowledge and power, speaking the wisdom of his creator will never end. How unfortunate to the stubborn and rigid people who do not wish to change- they will be challenged. As you may already see, with his know-it-all attitude, he can get himself into some deep shit. Nothing a call to father can’t fix. Somehow, Darshan always retreats out of sticky situations scratch-free. Sadly, Darshan is a young and nearly inexperienced angel. Though he talks the talk and can somewhat walk the walk, he fails to show his side that is of the living, which interferers with his interactions with others. Due to supression of his emotions, Darshan can seem like a cold and aloof person. He is more mind over heart, and can be emotional only when he is forced to- and it’s all downhill from there. The angel is virtually void of anger, but if there is the mere chance he is angered he’ll disguise it. One thing is for sure, this boy is successful at hiding his emotions, and mostly for the worst.

History: In 1607, Darshan was first formed an angel. From that point, he wandered the human world, studying and observing. Inexperienced with his powers, he only managed to scrape by in the human world, almost not surviving. He orignally lived in england. In 1687, During the Glorious revolution of England, Darshan Landoni moved to Ireland to evade action occurring in England at the time. However, only a mere year after Darshan had made his move, battles broke out in Ireland over the Glorious revolution. Feeling pity for James II of England who was about to be dethroned by a conspiracy, he joined the majority of the population of Ireland in the battle against William of Orange who was Mary, James’ daughter’s husband. It was a conspiracy of great evil, in Darshan’s opinion, and yet in the end overcame a greater good which Darshan had saw at the very early start of the war; and knowing that James II would loose the war and many lives would be lost, Darshan took it upon himself to attempt to save the life of as many as possible. Darshan joined the army recruit as a medic, and throughout the three major battles in Ireland, healed hundreds of people. It was unexplained his ability to somehow magically heal a wound, but unquestioned as this was a time of war and no one had time to fool with such questions. The army was of only peasants, and as a result, suffered a great loss of lives and even higher number of injuries. Darshan was able to sustain a well balanced life in Ireland. He moved to one of the most prophetical cities at the time, named Cork. There he worked in a slaughterhouse, making a very large income for the current economical situation, which left many with scarce money and even less food. This would eventually lead to the great famine in Ireland in 1740. In his free and spare time, Darshan would often go down to local pubs and converse with the irish folk. Irish people were very friendly with Darshan, sharing their culture with him. He learned many folk lore and music, Darshan was especially fascinated with the music of Ireland. He learned to play things such as the tambourine. But at this time in Ireland literature was of more importance, and so, Darshan decided to move to Scottland only a mere 20 years from his initial arrival in Ireland.

In 1707, Darshan moved from Ireland to Scotland. He was only faced with the same rule that had been over Ireland, as the Scottish and the British had made an alliance and were now under the rule of the Kingdom of Great Britain. Darshan had more interest in Scotland with learning to play the bagpipe. However soon the bagpipe died out, though Darshan continued to play it. Much more popular was fiddling, which Darshan excelled at, more or so then his lousy attempts at the bagpipe. The last instrument the angel was able to master was the harp, which is not suprising since most angels have an interest in this instrument. With other instruments, Darshan had to practice like a human would, and had to learn everything slowly and gradually. However, with the Harp, it came naturally, and beautifully.
Darshan stayed in Scotland until 1735, when he moved back to Ireland, and soon after, was greeted by the horrific terrors of the great famine. Darshan, presented with great musical talents as an angel, was able to constantly receive a good income and was able to afford the expensive ride to the Americas, where he immigrated in 1943, and hereby remained. Darshan experienced many things during his time in America, and was able to pick up very well. He moved west, he moved east, he moved all around until finally coming across the little town he currently resides in.

Awareness of Supernaturals: Darshan has extended his knowledge beyond what is contained in this city. He is aware of everything, and can easily pick them up from distances away, without even consciously acknowledging it. This helps him to prepare for battles against more aggressive species, which is a tactic that will make him almost sure to win any battle - although, he is not in favor of battling and in fact highly against it, not immersing in battle unless the need is great.

Occupation/Job: Darshan owns a music store where he sells a variety of instruments, music sheets, and even applies occasional lessons to some of his more regular customers. Because of his talents in this job, he is able to charge large sums, and many of the richer humans will go to him for instruction. The business is run for mainly humans, but occasionally the curious eye of a supernatural creature may rush upon it. He has only a few regular supernatural customers, and even fewer occasional supernatural visitors.

Interesting Facts / Quirks: The more people get to know him, the less they will be bombarded with his babblings of the differences of the sinners and the sinful, and the commons of life. He is very, very spiritual, and takes practice in many different forms of ‘religion’ of human and supernatural. He may be seen lurking in a different church each day.

Hobby/Hobbies: He loves to sing, and play music like the bagpipe; hence his musical store, and also loves to learn, although he has learned almost all there is to know. He loves new experiences, even if they may be somewhat devious; the lessons of cruelty and punishments, he craves them all. He often takes part in having friendships with darker forces, trying to wrest them from eternal hell and guide them to the good. He is very fond of vampires, of all the shadier beings, because they seem to be the most like him, and he can understand them the best. He also likes to study unicorns and has once was honored with the companionship of one in Ireland.  He still longs to see his Aurora, the unicorn, again. He is also very fond of nature and animals, and will be seen in many natural places in his free time.

Likes:
Ireland and Scotland, he did not like England and even dislikes America to a point. He also likes his long lost unicorn friend Aurora, and speaks of her every so often. He enjoys mingling with humans and befriending them, for they all admire him for his God-like attributes. He loves nature, animals, and all of God’s creatures, and is fascinated by them. He loves to try to convert those heading for the dark to see the light, and loves to preach to others. He also appreciates religions of creatures of all sorts, and encourages others to embark on the search of one of their own, whether it be religion or just a sense of spirituality.

Dislikes: He does not like liars, which is what he dislikes above all. He does not like the lifestyle and behavior of some creatures, like engaging in sexual contact with a different person night after night, and even dislikes sexual contact for it makes him uncomfortable. He believes that a relationship is mental, and that until a mental relationship is established no physically sexual relationships should be pursued. He can be very enlightening mentally, and very attractive and sexy, but there is an energy to him that beholds that he is not the type of person to be as cruel to toy with someone’s mind, or have one night stands. He does not enjoy when people are intoxicated or under drug influences of any sort. This is because the mind is most important as well as the soul, and the fogging of the mind and soul with the use of toxins tends to lead people astray from the important things in life; friendships, happiness, and clarity.

Strength:
Darshan comes from a clear mind and clean thoughts. The elasticity of his thoughts has been proven time after time, making him able to compromise and see others points of views. Although he is willing to see the point of views, he often ignores and neglects them, posing question to whether he is willing to LISTEN to what others feel. He is very intellectual, and predominantly deals with matters of the brain. If you have a theory or thought, or anything new to introduce to the angel, he will listen with a considerable amount of interest. This is related to the idea in which Darshan plans to attain all knowledge that is valid; becoming somewhat of a bank of infinte knowledge and importance. Others mistakes and experiences are gold to Darshan, who has a hard time creating mistakes of his own, or at least owning up and admitting to them. Darshan does have quite a well rounded, attractive look to him, which is expected of an angel. He does take a great deal of time to make sure he looks presentable and sharp. He has the amazing ability to charm people, and makes a good first impression, but does have a hard time maintaining friends after a while. He likes his freedom, and will fight to no ends to attain in. Although the angel doesn’t believe in fighting to resolve problems, he is willing to lead a revolution, if given the cause to do so. A born leader and idealist, Darshan is the one implanting ideas in your head, encouraging you to rebel to what is wrong, and overall, do what is right. He strives for equality for all, and believes if everyone just accepted each other there would be no issues. He is willing to accept anyone, including things of hellish status. If you do not accept him for what he is; you should watch out, for while he does not have vicious temper, he does attain power quite easily.

Weakness/Flaw: Darshan neglects feelings, others’ as well as his own. This puts him in somewhat of a disposition. Unable to cope with his own emotions, Darshan is unable to interact in sexual acts or anything really intimate without feeling uncomfortable. Above that, he truly believes in power of the mind, and holds mental relationships much above physical contact. Although he calls himself an angel of god, Darshan is willing to toy with people’s minds and played games that are visibly skewered in one direction or the other. Due to his need of freedom, he will neglect someone who pesters him too much. If they are a powerful or important role in his life, he will blow them off until it becomes absolutely necessary to deal with them, and add to the excuse that too much had been happening at once and he was quite exhausted with life. Lies, deceit, laziness. All of the things he dislikes, though he does them himself to a point. And to the one who points this out- they are the ones who loose out. Darshan has the amazing ability to charm others over, and with that, he has been able to wreck lives with only a gesture of a simple smile that distracted someone- leading him to obtain the key he needed. Being deceitful under the eyes of god has it’s advantages you see- though his bottled up emotions and lack of understanding of how to use them does lead to inevitable sudden bursts or anger or total meltdowns. At his worst, Darshan can retreat to acting completely barbaric.

“One thing the two share, whether you were bitten or born: Immortality. The wonderfulnes of it all. It would be better to be born great and powerful then to be born human, a scummy, mess of a life.” Said Gannon, completely avoiding answering the question. He was pretty sure she had been bitten; that was why he picked the particular story that he was going to use.

Lyra was getting very intimidating though, and it was beginning to look as if she was going to kill him. Gannon, truly, did not care. And that was just the message he implied with his expression, his body language, the look in his brown eyes that seemed so blank, void, and empty. But his lips curled, he licked them wet, and smacked them together, then replying,

“It wouldn’t do you any good to kill me now. Your soul would never be at rest,” Gannon was starting to spin his wonderful story. A story he hoped the other would digest. First, she would be skeptical. Then, she would be worried. Then enraged- and finally, almost certain that the lies he said were not lies, but completely true. This was the normal process. She looked like she would be normal. Gannon hoped this, at least.

“I turned my first today, at this particular spot. It is the tredecennial anniversary. You would know about that Lyra, I suspect. Being bitten, it’s not an experience you forget. It changes your life. Not just for the recipient, I’m afraid, but also for the one who administers it.” Gannon gave hint. He didn’t quite want to  admit to all of the knowledge he knew just yet, and he was getting quite comfortable with this conversation.

Lyra was quite relaxed but looked like she was having fun with her weapon, and it made Gannon uneasy. He shifted positions so he was sitting and directly facing Lyra, resting his arms on his knees. Gannon lightly tapped his fingers on his knees, his long fingernails made a little bit of a scraping noise. They were unusually long, even for a vampire. He had purposely grown them out- he found them to be more useful that way.
It was funny to think that Lyra would think of vampires and so uncaring;

Gannon had come across so many that cared so much, almost too much for life. They cared as if they were alive, but in fact, they were the living dead. He was part in touch with what was going on around him and part lost in his mind, thinking, thinking and thinking.

Gannon was first shocked by her use of the name Vampire when he had still not figured out what she was. He was slowly starting to catch on to her, though, and began to smell something strange. Like...like a wolf. Like a werewolf. Oh yes, Gannon educated himself on that. He had met a few in person, but no encounter like this. The other previous ones had been brief and he had remained quiet in observation. Now, Gannon felt free to speak his mind. Perhaps the fact that he was talking to a female helped ease his nerves. In his mind, they were the more gentle of the two genders, and the less to be feared.

Gannon watched as the werewolf killed a sort of owl. It was very amusing to him, and he let a smile spread to the corner of his face. The blood on the arrow, the scent of death, it was so rewarding, almost trance-enducing. He then divided his attention to the girl who had just asked of him a question. He thought if he should answer honestly, and he decided he best start to spread his lies now. He quickly began to formulate a story in his mind, and spat out his reply.

"I\'m here because of an anniversary," Gannon began to spin his lies. "And my name is Gannon. I\'ll be obliged to ask of yours." Gannon felt odd that she seemed almost unthreatened by his presence; he felt he deserved a little bit of weariness, maybe a glance or two-just, something. Oh well, he decided, and began to think up the rest of the lie he was starting to create.

Gannon had only been sitting at rest near the pool of water when these events quickly took place. One moment everything was calm, and then another moment, Gannon was instantly alarmed. He diverted his eyes to a direction where he saw a figure he could not clearly make out. In a split second he noticed its bow and arrow, and how it was directed in such a threatening manner. As fast as it had unfolded was as fast as it was over. The person who had been aiming at him stopped, and then emitted words, informing Gannon of the obvious.

Gannon, however, still processing what had happened, took a moment to think before saying anything. Gannon\'s eyes pierced the figure blankly, but it was what his eyes could not tell him that made him curious. The scent of this one was not a vampire, that\'s for sure, and the fact that this creature- definitely not human, was female; this was somewhat shocking and refreshing to Gannon. While he was trying to determine what he sensed, he also examined the creature physically. She looked like a young girl in her early twenties; human, and not much bigger then himself. Even though Gannon knew if hand to hand combat were face, he would most likely win, the tenseness in the air did not ease.

The air was very thick from all of this, and the mood made Gannon feel very shifty. The girl had been in a great position of power, able to injure him with one swift movement, and he had not noticed. How could he be left off guard, so foolishly? How could he be left so weaponless, so defenseless? Even though these thoughts troubled Gannon, they also amused him. Nobody had been a good threat to him for a while now, and Gannon decided it was a good chance to strike up a conversation and keep the person around for a while. Still trying to decipher what sort of creature she was, he replied,

"It is funny that you would mention that, for I\'ve been awaiting your arrival, although, it is certainly surprising. I was not aware you would try to attack me."

When Gannon decided to place himself in the Meadowcrest Woods he knew exactly what he was doing. The vast, wild shrubbery was a quiet place full of wonder and surprises. In these woods, it was hard to say what would happen next, who would appear, and what to expect. Great battles, honorable friendships, lusty romances, and horrifying enemies all frequently formed in the jumble of these trees, painting a sort of dicey image. You never could know what side the dice would fall on.

If you would find a love, a friend, a foe,a great battle, or someone who just passes by and never speaks a word. This was why Gannon had decided to lurk in the woods this night. He was waiting for the unexpected. The woods were almost the furthest thing from the city, the dreadful, terrible city. In the woods, devil\'s punchbowl falls, was where Gannon often liked to reside. The flow of the water was relaxing and loud, and could sometimes drown out all thoughts, like the thoughts that tortured Gannon constantly. It was tonight that Gannon had decided to rest here, until the break of day began to shine when he would be forced to retreat elsewhere.

Although Gannon was in somewhat of a reflective mood, adrenaline rushed through his body. Before arriving at the waterfalls, he had gone on a mad rampage through the woods, destroying everything in his path. It was only a few bushes, maybe, or a couple of small animals that nobody would miss. Despite the truth of this statement, these small acts made Gannon feel powerful, making the blood in his body burn, his heart pound faster, feeling more alive then ever. Killing was almost as exciting as feeding, and it was one of the many pleasures in Gannon\'s life.

Gannon had the suspicions that he would meet someone tonight, at this very spot. Who? He couldn\'t pose for the future. But by the way the wind blew on his face, forcing his black hair to lightly brush against his cheeks, he could just feel someone was nearing. The long, sharp nails of the vampire reached for the black strands of his hair, a mess in his face, pulling them behind his ear. He was sitting on a small mossy rock near the pool of blue sparkling water, which, in the pool showed a reflection of himself, the moon and the stars. It was very relaxing if you may imagine, and the roar of the waterfall could drown out any thoughts. His small, lean, structure conveyed the image of frailness, especially in the lighting of the moon. The vampire looked more like a sad teenager heartbroken after his date had left him at the high school prom than a vengeful vampire who was looking for a distraction.

It were times like these, that he was able to loose himself in his own mind. I It were times in the night as dark and as deep as this that he was left to deal with only himself, and oh was it torture. The seemingly slow, endless hours when Gannon was alone sometimes pushed him to the brink of insanity. But somehow, Gannon knew that soon the empty void and quietness of this evening would spiral into a different direction. He knew someone would appear soon. Once he was in company, Gannon knew he would manage to gather his sanity. But for the moment, he studied the waterfall, sometimes gazing up at the stars, trying to avoid his thoughts with the distractions of the wonders around him.

Gannon Rocho

Zodiac sign: Saggitaurius
Age [appearance]: Appears to be an age of about his late teens/early twenties

Age [actual]: About 361 years. It gets tiring to count after a while.

Gender: Male

Species: Vampire

Appearance

Hair: Based on his beliefs of personal hygiene, Gannon has a rat’s nest worth of hair. Coming to the length of mid-shoulder his dark black colored hair appears to be malnourished and untaken care of. Of course, occasionally, the vampire will attempt to spruce his hair up, it’s very rare to see. The thick and flaky hair is almost unbearable to look at. Half of the time it isn’t brushed, making him easily compared to a homeless bum. But how can one be expected to groom their hair when they are bothered by the patronizing echoes of unknown, haunting voices? The most compliment you could give to his hair is the amazing thickness and lack thereof of split ends. But, with the conditions he keeps them in, how could you possibly tell?

Eyes: Eyes are said to be portals into the soul. That is a great metaphor for Gannon. Even when he is making the slickest of all accusations, talking the talk, boasting proudly and covering up his weaknesses, the eyes show all. Hidden memories and secrets, full of lies, disobedience, betrayal and the telltale signs of a disturbed mind reside all in the pools of dark brown. They are very cold to look at; sometimes appearing black, they can be referred to as demonic. Glimmers and glitters can be seen when this vampire takes participation in some of the pleasures of life, letting all know how truly pleased he is. These empty voided holes see the world differently than most- and whether it be a curse or a miracle, it makes Gannon who he is. These eyes are haunting to those unfortunate humans who are forced to peer into them, while suffering and agonizing death.

Frame: The typical categorization for Gannon is slim. But that is not the case of his true diagnosis. This vampire’s extremely tall and too thin- at his worst, it is possible to see his ribcage. It would be easy to mistake the vampire for a teenager, whose body seems to be awkward as it changes. This is due to the fact that it was when he was embraced. It seems his body has never quite caught up with time. Despite his small figure and lack of big muscles, Gannon’s learned to carry himself. He finds it is sometimes an advantage, for he has learned how to maneuver his body very efficiently. Although he is easily overpowered by most, Gannon can be very dominate, reaching into depths of his body bringing strength that others would have guessed never existed. In short: he may appear weak, but if he’s in the right state of mind, he can easily overcome this assumption.

Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: All across Gannon’s bodies are scars. On his belly, his legs, arms, and somewhat on his face, although the facial scars can be thought to be caused by acne. Some of these are from fighting and rough housing, but most is by self mutilation. Quite a lot of the bigger scars were created because of  usage of cocaine, and the well known effects ‘cocaine bugs’. But others, such as the burn marks, were just to stimulate his pain. To Gannon, pain is exciting, sometimes sexually arousing. There is no point in which Gannon feels self inflicted harm is going to far. Those who do not enjoy it are cowards, or so this is the what Gannon holds as truth.

Make-Up: Gannon has always been uncomfortable about confessing his homosexuality. Although he is, and has done it all, he never really admits to it. Occasionally he’ll pick up a girl for kicks, although anything like that is just for his own pleasure. Though he’ll go all the way with the same sex, he wont ever verbally acknowledge his sexual preferenc to anyone, and so his make-up is a vital detail here. There are specifics occasions where the vampire will apply subtle amounts of make-up, in which he feels slightly comfortable with his homosexuality. If there were a non-verbal sign of admittance, it would be this.

Personality: Gannon has suffered a lot of emotional trauma during his years of life. He always felt different than others, in a sense, almost better. A strong sense of narcissism grasped Gannon from his early years, this trait he was never fully capable of letting go of. These thoughts of supremacy over everyone and everything made it difficult for Gannon to socialize; and Gannon never really understood the concept of love. To this day, he finds the idea of empathy puzzling. Gannon suffers from a mild case of Paranoid Schizophrenia. This disorder causes him to act quite absurd. With a disinterest and lack of care for the world around him, Gannon lies himself in and out of everything. Lying is simple to do if you have the right skills; and Gannon does. He is a very charismatic person, which makes him ideal for the leader of a cult. However, Gannon’s ideas are scattered most of the time. He lives in a world that is only on the skirts of reality, passing the zone of what is healthy fantasy. Plagued by thoughts of paranoia, Gannon can become very suspicious. But these suspicions do not cause him to become cautious; Gannon is rarely that. This vampire is very impulsive, rarely taking times to think about anything before he does it. He is very intellectual, however, and is known to know extensive knowledge about a variety of things. He is a bold leader, but a very controlling one. Gannon finds the need to control everything, and dominancy is especially important to the blood sucking beast. Gannon has an obsession with the Oligarchy, and tends to revolve most conversations around the idea of creating a cult which he calls “The Order of Cruentus” to bring it down. Gannon believes vampires are the supreme species; and above that, he is the supreme being. He believes he is the anti-christ, the true son of satin, and likes to preach his propaganda to others. Gannon has an underlying fascination with pain and pleasure. Gannon’s senses are extremely tilted, to a point in which he finds extreme sexual pleasure and levels of eroticism in pain. Gannon has been known to inflict pain upon himself, but also others. Gannon enjoys pushing people to their limits, and especially takes satisfaction in power. If he could obtain it, Gannon would have abundant power. This is one of the principals behind wanting to take down the Oligarchy; to become the new dictator. Beneath it all, Gannon is a very weak person. With big talk and actions, Gannon somehow manages to charm most of the people in his path. He can be extremely passionate and is a sex-addict, while drugs and sex always seem to mix. Though he is mostly disliked by all he meets, he somehow has a unique appeal to him- something that makes it almost impossible to resist curiosity of his strange mind and ways. Gannon hears voices and other things related to Paranoid Schizophrenia, such as hallucinations, and is known to began talking to one in the middle of a conversation- which is quick to confuse anyone who is currently interacting with him in the moment. Gannon is violent in nature who’s very sloppy when it comes down to most things. It’s a wonder someone hasn’t killed him yet.

History: Most of Gannon’s history is a blur. It’s not quite clear whether his black outs of memory is because of drug use, mental trauma, or plain forgetfulness, but he certainly has limited knowledge of what had occurred in his life prior to coming to America. Although, he does have very vague memories of his childhood in England during the 1600\'s. Even at an early age the human did unthinkable things, and although torturing animals was an acceptable act at the time, many of the villagers disapproved of the way he savagely slaughtered livestalk for no particular reason. Gannon recalls having an older brother- but only up to the age of ten. He remembers the first time he killed a human being was when he savagely beat his older brother Lars to death with a shovel, that being the first time he had ever expirenced the taste of blood. His father beat him, but that wasn\'t what brought upon his insanity. There had always been a glimmer of chaos in his eyes, due to his lack of a concious.  Gannon had always been an outcast with somewhat delusional ideas, but he never had a focus. After he’d turned sixteen, things changed. One late night while hiding in the woods from his father, Gannon spot a particularly pale looking male which he would later discover was of vampiric origins. After stalking the vampire for a long period of time until he was finally able to convince the Supernatural to turn him, they had a heated romance for a while. One day Vampire dissapeared, leaving his fledging alone and dazed. Gannon eventually emigrated to the Americas during the 1800\'s, as most people were doing. It was later that he came to live in the nameless city in which he now resides. Besides travel history, Gannon has a long history with drugs and alcohol. He’s tried it all; although he was a cocaine addict for sometime, and he is still seen on and off of it every now and again. He’s never unwilling to try something new. 2008 and onwards... Gannon has vanished, and his disappearance has gone mostly unnoticed. Those who do speculate suspect a pitiful soul put him out of his miserable existence of a life. But he could be out there...slothing in the shadows and babbling nonsense to a small group of followers...

Awareness of Supernaturals: Gannon is very aware of supernatural. So aware, that he knows he hates them all. Gannon has a strong distaste for shifters, and bitter-feelings towards werewolves. Demons are more likeable of species, although Gannon believes vampires are the top species of them all. He plans to one day extinguish the human race, and thinks the world would be better off without most supernatural creatures. Detection is often times hard for Gannon who is usually under the influence of various substances, or in his own far off world. It is even harder for him to detect age, so he does not even attempt to guess anymore. Gannon does seek knowledge; and therefore, knows much information about many different species. As for the things he doesn’t know he feels there is one thing he must always remember: in the end, none of the species are worth it, and they all must perish. Consequently, these species don’t think he’s all that great either.

Occupation/Job:
Jobs require time, patience, and obedience. Gannon thinks these things are overrated, so he does not hold a job. The last time he held a job was an estimated 148 years ago. He quit in a fit of rage, and since then, has never worked again. Besides, without a home or desire for food and shelter, who needs money? If Gannon needed money, he would just kill a couple of people and take their wallets. The presence of authorities in jobs are chilling…although, he wouldn’t think of it as such a chore if he was the one in charge.

Interesting Facts / Quirks: Gannon has a thirst for knowledge. He wets this thirst by occasional, and sometimes frequent visits to the library. Though, he can’t trust what ridiculous humans say, so he does research of his own. Gannon is fairly out to date with technology, and prides himself in thinking that he knows more about it than others.

Hobby/Hobbies: Gannon enjoys to torture things. Torture intrigues him and makes him curious. His mind feeds on torture. He will torture animals like cats and leave them alive to suffer one day, while the other day he may pet and feed a cat of the same nature. He does not pick and choose his victims but but simply kills on whim-of-the-moment. The idea is that he has no value of what life means; it is simple to take away, and since to him he is immortal and he would do anything to end his own life, he feels in a stance of power to choose whose life to end. Back to power. He loves power. But none the less, torture and killing are a couple of his hobbies. In fact, he will on occasion torture himself in the acts of cutting, burns, anything to make himself feel pain. It makes him feel mortal, alive, when he knows he is dead and immortal and will always be that way until someone kills him. As you can tell, he is somewhat depressed about his current state of being the undead, even though if you asked him he would specifically tell you that mortals are fools and that the undead is the ultimate reward.

Likes: Gannon loves anything that will distract him. Drugs are a popular choice for this vampire, which is tied with the position of sex. Gannon appreciates relationships, but for all the wrong reasons. He loves the pleasure and physical satisfaction he receives from them. Most of the time, they are rough and rowdy relationships which main activity consists of sex, partying and drug usage. This is the type of life Gannon craves. He doesn’t understand empathy, or the caring for another person. Sex never leaves him with a deeper connection to another person. Gannon is similar to an animal with his amount of compulsive actions and ability of humanitarianism he displays. Gannon likes being the center of attention, as well as being adored and in power and control. He’d kill anyone for the chance of dictatorship.  A location that Gannon enjoys is cemeteries and other eerie places. The concept of this is that cemeteries is of death; but more or so, the place where spirits rest and evil is unearthed. That’s what Gannon aspires from it. Although he envies those who have successfully died and passes the torture of life, he always enjoys death itself. He would like to know how it feels to die- if dying is as pleasurable as being embraced.  Gannon finds that the ability to be able to lie and complain about everything is a plus, and highly desirable. He’ll take advantage of anyone who will continually listen to his lies as truth and digest his negative attitude.

Dislikes: Gannon hates when his freedom is restricted. The number one source of this? The Oligarchy. And boy oh boy does this vampire have a long lists of reasons he hates the Oligarchy, reasons the Oligarchy is evil, stupid, and how he will one day take down it’s whole empire. He also has a secluded, secret list of ways he will become the new dictator to all supernatural creatures. He has this secret fantasy of everyone desiring, admiring and wanting him. That way, he’d never run out of room to fuck. Gannon doesn’t like to be disobeyed, or disrespected in any way. Even if what he says is a lie, or he makes a mistake, he’d preffer everyone to pretend like his correct anyway. Anyone who tries to defy him will automatically be disliked, no matter the reason for the disobedience.  Gannon hates humans, and dislikes all other species. Vampires ran supreme. But, he also dislikes vampires. He loves himself. That is all he loves.

Strength: Gannon emerges as a very charismatic, bright and bold leader. He can take anything that comes his way, and still come out fighting. He has the amazing ability to turn negative, dark things into sounding completely fantastic, making realities into complete fantasy. Who doesn’t love fantasy more than reality? Gannon will pleasure people by engulfing them in his make-believe world, where the horrors of lives can actually be considered good. Everyone has a purpose in the plan of the devil.  He is very convincing, with a vast knowledge of things. When he is thinking clearly, he can be very insightful and intelligent. He knows how to manipulate people and control them, and easily plays mind games. Somehow, he senses how other people feel and can read them easily. It’s not hard to tell when someone is worried. Just listen to how they speak. Watch how they walk and talk, watch how cautiously the words roll out of their mouth, and perhaps you will see what Gannon sees. It is easy then, for him to grasp that, and use it against the individual as a tool of manipulation to cause them to act and react how he wants them to. All Gannon really wants is a puppet.

Weakness/Flaw: Gannon is very controlling. He has a lack of respect for others, and is truly full of himself. It’s all to easy for Gannon to fly off the handle in fits of rage and destruction; his aggression and violence levels are unusually high. Anything can set Gannon off. He often compares his life to a conspiracy, and struggles with little voices in his head, which are accompanied by hallucinations and delusions. Sometimes his thoughts are unorganized, and it’s hard to understand what Gannon is really trying to say. Gannon is not capable of being empathetic or loving anyone other than himself. He constantly needs to be loved and admired, and if that is not fulfilled, the person will be dumped. He treats people like objects, and feels no shame or guilt for it. Although he can easily pick apart other people, he fails to see the problems in himself. His sexuality is a source of most of his problems. Gannon is full of flaws. You can probably pick them out yourself.
