Rough\'n\'Ready
« on: August 16, 2006, 06:23:40 AM »
The music swelled across the dance floor, moving the performers in time to the beat. That\'s all they were, performers, showing off their wares to whoever cared to be browsing. Amongst them a young woman moved, ignoring everything around her; the men, the women, the scent of blood, hardly even hearing the sound of the music. As she danced she was in her own world and for hours at a time nothing could break through until she chose.

Her short black skirt flowed out around her body, lifting up slightly as she spun, giving those watching them a teasing glimpse of the soft skin underneath, and as did the low-cut black halter neck top she wore. Her eyes stayed half shut as she swayed and writhed to the tune in her head, but it was a dance that would fit to almost any kind of music that played. Her eyelids were covered with bright green eyeshadow, but not too much to make it overpowering, just enough to highlight the green in her eyes and bring a bit of colour to her outfit.

She held no drink, she found that if you wanted to drink it was better to either find someone to buy them for you, or get pissed before you left the house, which was what she had done tonight. A half litre of vodka sat by her make-up table at home, waiting for her next night out.

The flashing lights sped up, signalling a change in pace of the beat, and Roz moved her feet faster accordingly, her breath coming faster now as she danced like no one was watching, dancing only for herself.

Her eyelids flickered open about halfway through the song, bringing her back into this world, making her aware of what was going on, but she carried on dancing. A man, human by the look and feel of him approached her, starting to dance closer, and Roz, never one to pass up on a partner unless she was in her own head, silently agreed, moving her body closer to his until their bodies were touching as they danced. He was hot, too hot, and too grabby. It was too early in the night for that, she had only arrived a couple of hours ago and planned on dancing for a long while yet, and if she left with anyone she definitely wasn\'t planning on letting it be a human. Roz felt his hand grabbing at her ass and abruptly she spun around, but didn\'t move away far. Not yet anyway.

He didn\'t get the hint, and moved closer again, rubbing his crotch up against her body as she tried to dance and circling his arms around her from behind, his hands suddenly all over the place, touching her breasts and making a lame attempt to slid up her skirt.

Roz deftly spun out of his grip and landed a sharp stiletto heel onto his foot, leaving him wincing in pain, before moving quickly away and into the crowd, trying to blend in and get away from his attention. For Fuck\'s sake, all she wanted to do for now was dance. If anyone came up to her, maybe dancing nicely for a while first and then making an approach she would be happy to comply, ecstatic to in fact, but ugh, he was human, he stunk and had no idea about personal boundaries.

The browned haired girl, who was really more of a red-head at the moment because of the amount of streaks started dancing again, trying to get back into the flow of the music, but after a minutes slowed and finally stopped, working her way to the edge of the dance floor.

This was the worst bit, stopping dancing. Her head was spinning from lack of air amongst the crowds of people, and Roz did what was probably one of the least good ideas in that case. She slid onto a free stool at an empty table made for two and lit up a cigarette, inhaling gently. She remembered to take regular breaths in-between, and soon her breathing was back to normal, but her heart was still racing with excitement. After she\'d calmed down a little, and felt the annoyance drain out of her Roz planned to go back out there. Fuck, why did someone always have to try to ruin a perfectly good night? But she wasn\'t going to let that prat ruin her night. After a couple of good songs Roz was planning on having forgotten him completely.

Her eyes roamed over all the people in the room, the crowds of dancers, the couples in corners, whispering propositions to each other and then leading each other off, either to the rooms in the back or out the door, headed who knew where. She absent-mindedly blew a couple of smoke rings as she sat, entertaining herself and she mulled over whether to get a drink, but the prices in here were incredibly high, and the alcohol in her system was still making her feel a little light headed, so that probably wouldn\'t be the best idea.

After finishing the cigarette Roz stubbed it out in the ash tray then stood up and quickly headed back to the dance floor, immersing herself in the atmosphere completely, moving once more in the way that only she could. As she moved she ran her hand through her hair, lifting it up a little to cool down her back and shoulders, revealing the black dragon tattooed on the back of her neck and running down inbetween her shoulder blades. It was shown for just a few seconds before she dropped her hair again, letting her hands go back to moving with the music.

He had hit a new low. His life had fallen so far. Sitting on the step of the couple of carpeted lobby stairs, Jeremy stared out at the dance floor. His eyes were covered by a pair of sunglasses. The dark plastic hid his wandering gaze. Vampires, mortals, and whatever the hell else was there mingled in the crowds. Being ignored, Jeremy cupped his chin in the palms of his hands. He pulled his knees up to his chest. A heavy sigh left his chapped lips.

Jeremy had never imagined that he would become so desperate to resort to blood-thirsty vampires. Ever since he contemplated his relationships with Arles and Kiyoshi, the young man admitted to the fact that vampires were on a higher level then humans. Even his masochistic self could barely handle their moves. Yet here he was, giving up by just being in the club. He glanced around at all the desperate humans flirting with the vampires. Scoffing, Jeremy shifted closer to the small barrier wall that held the stair railing.

He was being quite overlooked. Compared to the rest of the club, he was in bland clothing. A pair of tight denim jeans, a white tank top, and messy hair that had fallen around his face. At best, Jeremy probably gave the appearance of a junkie. Closing his eyes, he leaned his head against the stair railing. His head pounded from the beat of the music. He felt as if his ears were about to wither away and his eyes going to pop out. Perhaps he should have taken some good drugs before he headed to the club. Since he ran into Haruko in the alley however, Jeremy had avoided the doctor’s house at all costs. That included the drugs within. He just couldn’t face the memories there. It was cowardly to run away especially since it would do no good. The past wasn’t in the house, it was all in his mind. At times, Jeremy wished that he didn’t have such a great memory. No matter how hard he tried though, he couldn’t forget anything like so many other people seemed to do.

“Excuse me.” Jeremy felt a small shove against his shoulder as he felt a group of people pass by. At least they were nice enough to mention an excuse. His eyes flickered opened to go back to stare around at the flashing lights on the dark walls. He felt as if he had entered another world. A shiver ran through his bones. Deciding to walk off the feeling, Jeremy stood up. He wavered on his feet before finding some balance. Stepping down to the edge of the dance floor, a yawn escaped his lips.

He wandered a couple of moments before finding a spot against a pillar.. Leaning against it, he stared at the dancing bodies. It smelled like sweat, alcohol, and blood. The smell didn’t help in remedying his shivers. Taking off his sunglasses, he revealed his green eye as well as his glossy blind one. Staring ahead, he placed the sunglasses in his jeans’ pocket.

It only took a moment when he heard a sharp curse. Perhaps he was experienced to listened to such exclamations, but he found the source rather quickly. Noticing a man in obvious pain and a woman walking away, Jeremy raised his eyebrows. It was obvious of the woman’s movements she was angry and most likely the cause of the curse and pain in the man’s expression. Watching the female pass to start dancing somewhere else before moving to a table instead, Jeremy laughed softly. He wondered for a moment if she was a vampire or a human. Though it didn’t really matter. Jeremy had rare experiences with any sort of girls. He had opportunities plenty of time with old women, who were just as perverted as some men, and a couple of whores. Other than that, he never met a wholesome female. At least none that stood out to him. Of course when he had gone to school when he was younger, he met girls but none of them ever talked to him. It was either he was too shy or they were creeped out by his blind eye. Besides, women never struck Jeremy as aggressive enough to be sadistic.

So lost in his thoughts, Jeremy hadn’t noticed someone else leaning against the pillar. Jumping at the figure, he opened his mouth to speak up. He was instantly cut off by the other. Jeremy listened to the whispered inquiry. It wasn’t anything perverted, quite the contrary. The shadowed figure just wanted to know why the boy wasn’t dancing. In response, Jeremy headed straight to the dance floor.

Stepping into the moving crowd, Jeremy felt a sudden rush of nervousness. He didn’t know how to dance. Not in crowds anyways. A heat ran over his face. He wondered why he even walked away from the figure. That sort of thing was what he had come to the club for, not for the dancing. Glancing around for a way out, Jeremy took a small step back. The step caused a soft bump into the female from before. The scarred male looked over at her, in a bit of awe at the movements that was coming from the female’s limbs. He wondered where she had learned to dance. So caught up in noticing her dancing beside him, Jeremy just stood there and stared.

Feeling someone bump into her Roz didn\'t look around straight away. She could tell the difference between an accident and someone trying to act like that jerk before. After a few moments she glanced over her shoulder and seeing a man just standing there staring at her brought a smile to Roz\'s lips. Yep, Risk brought in all types, was that a safety pin or something in his lip?

Her bright green eyes took in the man with interest as she turned around to face him properly, still dancing. One eye was clouded, that was interesting enough, Roz wasn\'t fazed by something like that, and the other was a gorgeous green. That was a hell of a lot of piercings, Roz only had the simple one hole in each ear and one in her tongue, and she tilted her head slightly as she gazed at him. Roz\'s smile widened brightly and she gave a small laugh at his just standing there. He looked completely out of place on a dancefloor.

Spurred on by her curiosity and the alcohol Roz reached out and slipped her hand into his, leaning closer so she could be heard and slowing down her dancing, and making it fit in a little more with the music and people around them.

"Here, let me help," she said, loud enough for him to hear, but not so loud that the whole world would be listening in, although surrounded by vampires she didn\'t know why she cared. Hell, he might even be a vampire, but there was something about him that gave Roz the impression he wasn\'t.

The girl stepped closer to the man in front of her, her body lightly touching his to guide him, but not pressing up against him too much. She raised their interlocking hands up over their head, her right, his left, swaying in time to the music and after placing her free hand on his hip to help guide him, she moved the rest of her body as well, giving him a template to move with, if he wanted to. Of course, this wasn\'t going to work if he was just going to stand there like a plank.

Roz gazed into his eyes, that smile still playing on her lips, wandering what he was doing in here if he looked so out of place. Of course, this might be one of his first times, which would give him good reason to be nervous. She could ask later, now she wanted to carry on dancing, and hoped he wasn\'t going to freak out and push away. If he had come up to her and started dancing like this she probably would have treated him just like the fist guy, but the way he\'d just been standing there was really endearing.

Tom entered the club hungry and interested in finding some decent entertainment.  It was after midnight, so he didn\'t necessarily hold high hopes for the quality of what he\'d pick up, but he\'d been busy up \'til that point and knew he\'d just have to take his chances.

He paused in the entrance tunnel to look over the supernatural rules once more, a wry smile curling his lips.  Now that he was going to be a resident here, he supposed he would have to follow those rules; he hooked his thumbs through the belt loops of his jeans, thrusting one booted foot forward as he observed the Vampire rules with a little more interest.  He\'d been back in the city nearly two weeks, had found himself a small, solid house in Rice Terrace but was still having it prepared for him to live in.  A hotel room was his home until the walls he wanted torn down were gone, the ones that remained were mended and painted, the windows were covered over to his specifications and the floors were redone entirely with carpet or tiles.  Again, according to his wishes.

With a perfunctory nod - as if the piece of paper had spoken their contents aloud to him - he spun away and entered the club\'s main area.  There was quite a crowd tonight and the aromas that met his nose got all his juices flowing pleasantly as soon as they met his nostrils.  He walked through the sea of bodies at a languid pace, interested in the dancers, not the wallflowers, because he was in the mood for some action.  His simple turquoise button up shirt was open at the collar and the sensation of air conditioning alternating with waves of heat from so many people in a small space hitting his skin was... invigorating.  He rolled his sleeves up to his elbows as he walked, revealing his tattooed wrists without a qualm, just to feel as much of that hot and cold atmosphere as he could get - without exposing things the proprietors likely would object to, anyway.

He joined in the dancing on the floor casually, his moves understated and fluid, moving around the space with a half smile that increased to show his dimples if he got any second looks.  He found himself behind Roz after not too long, eyeing off her long legs and delicious shoulders, dancing his way around her to see what the front view was like.

Now, when something really caught Roz\' attention she would throw her all into it, but if she was doing something a little half-heartedly her attention could easily...wander slightly. And as lovely as it was to have someone so entranced with you that they couldn\'t move, it didn\'t bode well for the rest of the night.

So when Roz felt another set of eyes fixed on her she firstly gave a cursory glance over her shoulder to check it out, followed by a quick second look, this time her eyes roaming all over the stranger before turning back, instead of just locating him. The turquose shirt? Well, it would help him stand out in a crowd, but it had been that look in his eyes, those adorable dimples and the way he moved that made Roz drop the hand she held. She carried on dancing with Jeremy, but she was thinking about other things Her eyes fixed on the man in front of her, a small smile playing over her lips, barely feeling any guilt that she was planning on ditching this guy in a matter of minutes, unless the stranger moved on.

But keeping your eyes on someone when you were thinking about another person was challenging, especially when Tom flittered across Roz\' line of view just a little behind Jeremy. Roz\' smile widened as her green eyes flickered back to Jeremey and her nose wrinkled up a little in a silent laugh, loving the feel of eyes on her, it was always such a thrill.

Roz however had no plans to ditch Jeremy if she was just going to be left alone again. Sometimes people in Risk could be quite fickle, if the taller man was just going to disappear she might as well stick with her first catch, although the second figure looked so more enticing. But it was hard to tell if he was really interested, or just having a good look. Hell, maybe he wasn\'t even looking at her, maybe she\'d just gotten in the way of him looking at Jeremy, only one way to find out.

The girl stood a little more on tiptoes than her heels were already helping her do and leaned in close to Jeremy\'s ear. "I\'m just going to get a drink, wait for me here?" Roz breathed into his ear, her hand lightly resting on the back of his neck before she moved away slightly. Without waiting for a reply Roz turned and headed away from the dancefloor, giving Tom a smile as she brushed past him on her route.

She didn\'t look back to see if either or them were following her as she headed for the bar, and with the loud music it was impossible to hear if they were. She leaned gentley on the counter, waiting for the bartender to notice her, content to wait until then. With a smooth movement Roz flicked open the top of her purse and pulled out a cigarette, lighting it with one of the matches from a book on the counter. She somehow still managed to quell her curiousity and stop herself from turning to look at the dancefloor.

The vampire grinned at the little looks her lovely eyes were throwing him and he enjoyed the fact that she was doing her best to remain focussed on the guy in front of her.  Tom felt the mortal was making a poor show of responding to the gorgeous coquette attending to him, and he was about to make a move to intercede between the two of them when the woman said something to the weirdo and headed away.

The look she threw him - accompanied with a sexy smile - shot straight through his cool facade and left him thirsting for more.  Even with his excellent hearing, he had been unable to pick up what she\'d said to her dance partner but that expression told him it had likely been goodbye.  His own smile broadened and he turned to follow her, not giving a fuck about the guy she\'d left behind, intent only on snagging some time with the woman he was confident was the most stunning specimen in the room.

He was delayed by the crowd somewhat but arrived in time to see her light up a cigarette and toss the pack of matches back on the bar.  For a brief moment, there was a gap in the traffic and he looked her over - much as she had him, out on the floor - admiring her scantily-clad body openly.  Since there were no empty stools, she was leaned against the bar in a space between two of them; he wedged himself in behind her, one hand resting on the bar near her arm and the other shoved deliberately into his pocket (if he didn\'t restrain himself in such a way, he\'d have immediately gone for her beautiful, sweat-glossed skin and that really wasn\'t his style straight up).  He ignored the protests of the guy behind him, not caring that fitting his large frame into a non-existent space had basically shoved the sap off his stool.

"You\'re beautiful and I like the way you move," Tom told the woman honestly, leaning down so that his lips hovered near her ear.  The little smile he sported now that he was close enough to smell her was evident in his deep voice and would be seen immediately should she attempt to turn and face him.  He\'d never been a big fan of lines and always went with his genuine feelings as an opener; it didn\'t work all the time, but it made the rejection as up front as possible - if it was going to happen - and that was easier to deal with.

Roz took a slow drag of her cigarette, exhaling softly as Tom placed his hand on the counter. A slightly smug smile lit up her face as she delicately flicked her cigarette over an ash tray, he had followed her over. Fantastic, Roz couldn\'t help noticing a little flutter of excitment in her stomach. Even though Roz knew he was there the sound of his voice next to her ear still surprised her a little. He moved so silently, and there wasn\'t even the sound of his breath to indicate where he was.

At his words the girl smiled again, it was so tempting to start playing hard to get, but who could resist those words? She reached up with her free hand and pulled it over the shoulder furthest away from Tom, revealing the black tattoo ont he bak of her neck and the smooth skin surrounding it. It was so hot everywhere in this club, but he wasn\'t radiating heat like some of the people in here did. He had to be a vampire, either that or a wierd kind of human.

Roz slowly turned around, her head first, followed by the rest of her body, fitting perfectly into the space he created around her. The smile on his lips gave the impression that he was being honest, but you could never be too sure. Her eyes flickered towards the irrate guy behind Tom, who seemed to be having a little trouble accepting he had been relocated and then she looked back up at the man in front of her, a playful smile still on her lips.

"You know, you\'re not so bad yourself," Roz said casually, glancing away and bringing the cigarette back to her mouth and taking another drag. She slowly blew out again, pointing away from Tom then looking back towards him. Not everyone liked having smoke blown in their face and she was going to be careful, the man standing over her was fasinating, she didn\'t want to drive him away with something so simple.

"You\'re a good dancer," she added, glad that she\'d worn the heels she had, otherwise he would be towering over her even more than he was at present. Still, having him leaning over her like this felt comfortable, secure, even though he was a complete stranger.

He smiled silently, watching her move, thinking about her tattoos, liking the game she played.  She was incredibly sensual close up, her features exquisite and her body emanating warmth like she\'d been dancing for hours.  She probably had.  Either way, she knew exactly what she was doing conversing with him and he admired confidence in a beautiful woman - especially if it was coated with a thin veneer of humility.  It amused him.

"I have better moves," he demurred, shrugging one shoulder so that the fabric of his shirt rippled slightly.  He didn\'t elaborate on where his better moves might be found, or the nature of them, as something intriguing caught his eye.  He grasped her right hand in his cool hold, turning it so that he could see the Risk mark, then looking into her green eyes.  "What does this mean?" he asked, having seen exactly the same tattoo on a few people in the club, though not all in the same position on their bodies.  It had to be more than coincidence.

His fingers stroked the underside of her wrist, where the pulse was strongest, without even thinking about it, as he waited for her answer.

"I\'m sure," Roz said softly, watching that hideous turquoise shirt ripple in a way that made it not quite so awful, or maybe it was just the body underneath that made it so enticing. She was enjoying the way he could say so much with so few words, some men tried and failed completely, or just couldn\'t stop talking, but he was confident and intelligent enough not to need to do that.

When he caught her hand, the one holding her cigarette, Roz\' eyes fell on her tattoo. She\'d had it for so long she almost forgot it was there and that it guaranteed safety. Forgetting that she should be safe brought back the excitement that anything could happen. It was like bungee jumping, but that rope could snap, and so could vampires. Nothing was certain. Biting her lower lip softly Roz watched his fingers playing over her skin, tickling it a little, but she didn\'t pull back. Her bright eyes shifted back to Tom\'s, watching him with interest.

Did he really not know? He gave off the impression that he knew exactly what he was doing, but here he was, in Risk, and didn\'t know what it\'s mark meant. And she was fairly sure now that he was a vampire, so he should know, before he made a mistake.

"Basically, it means I am up for just about anything in here, messing about, dancing, drinking, anything you want," Roz said, shifting her body so she facing him more directly, rather than just leaning on the bar. Her eyes flickered down, casting another gaze over his body, hoping that she might soon be given the opportunity to see some of those moves he\'d mentioned.

"But no killing. Not in here, or outside," she finished with, looking back up into his eyes as she reached out with her free hand and smoothed an unseen wrinkle out of the shoulder of his shirt, tilting her head slightly to one side. Her fingers lingered in their position, feeling the soft cloth of the shirt combined with those strong muscles underneath. It was truely scrumptious. Reluctantly Roz\' hand left Tom\'s shoulder and plucked the cigarette from the hand he held. She glanced over her shoulder slightly and stubbed it out in the ashtray before looking back at him.

His thoughtful expression became a half-smile of understanding.  "A mark of protection, for willing donors?" he mused, raising his eyebrows slightly.

The implications were mind boggling, yet really very simple; there was an elite set of mortals that frequented this place, who were willing to be drunk from, that knew the vampires\' greatest secret and who were offered safety in return for their generosity.  \'Willing\'... without having to go through the pretense of drinking and relying on the effect of the bite to make people forget, or having to go through the rigmarole of sharing the secret.  Just... in your face, mortals that knew the score and would comply - as long as you didn\'t kill them.  Very sexy.

He didn\'t miss the pointed way she looked him over or the insinuation that she was up for anything.  He grinned fully as his grip loosened and twisted.  He entwined his fingers with hers, lowering their held hands then, so that they rested against their thighs - everything was so squeezed together in this cramped space that touching was unavoidable.  What a shame.  His other hand slid unobtrusively off the bar and found her hip, grasping it gently, fingers seeking the edge of her top so that he might sneak beneath it and contact her lovely skin.

"So... how generous are you feeling tonight, may I ask?" he smirked, wondering if he was doing a terrible job of propositioning her now that he knew it was something that she faced regularly.  He could only hope that the messages her eyes were sending his way were indication that she was interested enough to forgive him any blunders he might make; tempting women to sleep with him was nothing new, adding feeding into the mix up front was.

Roz lowered her eyes to where Tom’s cold fingers were brushing her skin, raising an eyebrow slightly, but the smile on her lips showed that she didn’t mind at all. His cold touch contrasted with her hot body and sent a pleasurable shiver up her spine. The girl gave their entwined hands a little swing, brushing their skin against the edge of her shirt, and feeling his chilly skin brush against hers again.

At Tom’s question Roz gazed past Tom’s shoulder coyly and pursed her lips as though she was really thinking about her answer. After a moment her eyes met Tom’s again and she ran her tongue lightly across her lips, moistening them and giving a glimpse of her tongue piercing.

“Oh, I don’t know…” Roz said, her voice trailing off thoughtfully, “Depends on who’s asking I suppose,” she said in a teasing voice, her free hand finding it’s way back to Tom’s shoulder, playing lightly with the cloth of his shirt.

But despite what she said, Roz knew in truth there was really no way she was going to turn down Tom. It had been too long since she’d been drunk from, she missed it, and he was going about it in a much more pleasant way than some of the freaks in here. Sure, he was touching her skin, but hell, she was wearing a mini skirt, she didn’t expect any less. At least he wasn’t grabbing her ass and tits straight away. Compared to the guy on the dancefloor earlier Tom was being quite the gentleman, but not too much to make it boring.

"How much do you want?" Roz asked, shifting a little closer to Tom again as she spoke, her green eyes fixed on his gorgeous blues.

"The rest of the night," he answered, no longer playing coy and enjoying the direct look she was giving him.  He wasn\'t smiling any longer - though there were twinges of appreciation for her and the conversation hovering about his lips, that surfaced intermittently - forgoing the flirting in order to secure a promise.  His eyes said it all; in his mind he already had her undressed, sprawled beneath him and panting with want while he fucked her and drank his fill.  He just hadn\'t quite got the logistics of it sorted, with regard to where it would happen or when.

"Here... your place... my hotel, I don\'t care," he continued, breaking the intense eye contact in order to glance at the dance floor while he spoke to his own thoughts.  A wicked idea occurred to him as he watched the writhing bodies beneath the flashing lights and when he looked back at her again, a new light had entered his already-heated gaze.  "We can even dance some more, if you like.  But I want you until dawn."

He didn\'t ask for her acquiescence; the request was in the way he watched her, eyes flicking towards her shoulders or her cleavage, watching her pulse increase but returning to her emerald eyes.  He expected her to make the choice now; comply or deny.

Roz tilted her chin up towards the vampire, enjoying his honesty, it was refreshing. The way the smile had so suddenly disappeared from his face was thrilling, as was that look in his eyes, she could almost sense what he was thinking, just from that stare.

When Tom looked over to the dancefloor Roz followed his gaze, but as much as she loved to dance Roz was already finding it hard to be this close to Tom, to know what was going to happen and not acting on it. Her eyes slowly shifted back to Tom and she smiled broadly,

"You know, turns out I\'m feeling pretty generous," Roz said in a gentle voice, her hand shifting along his shoulder and resting to play with the soft hair on the back of his neck. She loved the way his gaze, although roaming, always returned to her eyes."You got me til dawn. Whatever you want." Her eyes moved to the dancefloor then back to Tom, "But I think I\'m done dancing for tonight. How about we go to your place?" Roz didn\'t like taking people back to he apartment, and she didn\'t want there to be any chance that the people here might disturb them. And besides, they had decided on until dawn, if they stayed here they would have to part before then so that Tom could find shelter from the daylight.

He nodded, pleased with his choice - and hers.  He was somewhat disappointed that he wouldn\'t get the chance to see if he could make her cum on the dance floor, in the middle of the jumping, writhing pack of mortals, but he was far from inconsolable.  She had agreed to his terms, after all.

He stepped out of their tiny little wedge of space and walked her away from the bar, her hand still held in his.  If she protested, he didn\'t listen, as he was far too intent on his goal.  Considering the tingles he was getting just from touching her skin and holding eye contact, dawn would come far too soon as it was.

He had walked to the club that night after inspecting his dingy little house, but he knew she wouldn\'t want to walk the distance between Risk and the five star hotel he was staying at, wearing heels as high as hers.  Women always made such amazing choices in the name of fashion; it exasperated him about half as much as the effects thrilled him.  He walked her out to the curb on those fabulously high shoes - at a pace that ensured she would be able to keep up - and joined the line of people waiting for a cab.

Figuring that their wait was going to be about ten minutes - judging by the amount of club-goers in line and the frequency of taxis pulling up - he decided he would see what he could do about seducing her a little more.  He let go of her hand and shifted position so that his crotch was more or less in line with (but not touching) her right hip, his thumbs hooking in the front pockets of his jeans and one long leg thrust out behind her while the other took his weight.  It was subtle, but his body language was protective and obviously interested - considering the lean of him, and the bits that were directed her way.  His gaze came from a tilted head, through hooded lids and over a thoughtful smirk.

"Where\'s your favourite place to be bitten?" he asked conversationally, not caring that they might be overheard by anyone nearby and skipping the expected formalities of asking her name, age or occupation.  Nothing but the way she moved and tasted mattered to him.

Roz easily kept up with Tom\'s pace, her hips swinging as she expertly walked in her heels. She rarely wore anything else, so was used to walking in them, but was still glad of the choice of a cab rather than walking where ever they were going. She didn\'t want to waste time walking when she could be getting to know this gorgeous man a little better.

When they joined the queue for the taxis Roz let her eyes wander over the others in the line before them, deciding that she had definitely been found by the most amazing looking guy in the club. Tonight was definitely not going to be a wasted experience. Inside Tom\'s protective stance Roz rested her weight on the leg closest to his body, her hip jutting out slightly, leaning towards him, but not close enough to be touching. Her other leg lay in line with the leg he had extended out behind her, her toes tapping slightly to the quiet beat of the music which could only just be heard from inside.

Her eyes moved upwards from the crowd to meet Tom\'s, his casual tone bringing a smile to her face. Some people took all this far too seriously, but then you couldn\'t truely enjoy the whole experience. Worrying about it was completely pointless, once you got started thinking that you shouldn\'t be doing something wasn\'t going to help.

"This might sound a little cliche, but the neck has to be my favourite," Roz said, "It leaves the rest of my body free to do whatever I want," she added in as relaxed a tone as Tom had been speaking in. She felt completely at ease with the vampire for some reason, and being so close to him but not touching was making her fingers itchy to be doing something. The young woman shifted her position a little so she was facing more towards Tom, her head tilted upwards so she could keep eye contact, showing off her beautifully shaped neck.

Her fingers lightly brushed against Tom\'s shirt, fiddling with the lowest buttons, wishing they were already at his hotel. "But then again I\'m always eager to find new exciting experiences. I\'m open to any suggestions. Where do you find best to drink from?" Roz didn\'t care that he\'d skipped over the normal basics of conversation, after all, they only had until dawn. Still gazing up into his eyes Roz let her fingers slid under Tom\'s shirt a little, running her finger tips and nails over the smooth well toned muscles as she listened for his answer.
