Morgaine LaFayette
« on: January 07, 2007, 02:41:13 PM »
Name: Morgaine LaFayette
Age [appearance]: Early 20s, though she's sometimes mistaken for a teenager. She almost always gets carded at liquor stores. The assumption of youth is due mostly to her small stature.
Age [actual]: 26
Date of Birth: 11/30/86. Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Scorpio.
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Appearance
Hair: Black, straight, glossy, slightly longer than shoulder-length.
Skin: The color of hot-chocolate foam.
Eyes: Brown.
Frame: 5\'1", 106 lbs. Bigger in the chest than the hips, but not disproportionate. Both are generous – lots of cleavage, powerful thighs, and a tight behind.
Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: Black, curved lines in a sharp whirl design tattooed across the bridge of her nose and cheekbones. Morgaine wears a small gold nose ring through her right nostril, which is sometimes connected to a piercing through her right earlobe by a gold, belled chain. Liquid burn scars across her chest, face, and neck, the worst being on her chest. The tattoos hide the ones on her face.

Personality:

Predatory and mocking. Confrontational and aggressive. She has natural leadership tendencies, and a hot temper. Dominating, headstrong, loyal, and fiercely independent, but above all, Morgaine is a thrill-seeker.

History:

Born in India, her family emigrated when she was an infant. She took to American culture as naturally as any American child, reveling in every moment of it from the time she could walk. Her family, however, had a harder time settling in, and she grew to resent them for trying to tie her to the life of an Indian woman, which she saw as oppressive. When she found out that they had arranged a marriage for her in infancy, she was furious, and rebelled all the more, going so far as to run away from home. She was found soon after, but not by her family. The father of Morgaine\'s future husband found her singing for coins in a Subway station, and threw battery acid on her in retaliation for bringing shame on their families, leaving her to die on the tile.
Found by a passing police officer and rushed to the hospital, she recovered, only to find that her family had disowned her.
Rid of the burdens of what she saw as a restrictive culture, she finished high school, living off the charity of friends, and paid for college by applying for and receiving innumerable scholarships.
Once out of college, she started a band; Wild Hunt.

Awareness of Supernaturals: Slightly higher than that of the band, as she spends more time at Risk than any of them. She is aware  of Vampires, Weres, Dor, and shifters – the last of which she has the most knowledge of, by far.

Occupation/Job: Founder, lead guitar and vocals for the band Wild Hunt.

Interesting Facts / Quirks: Morgaine is not the name she was born with, but she had it legally changed at eighteen.

Morgaine is fluent in Tamil (her native language) as well as English. She has a very slight accent.

Hobby/Hobbies: Singing, playing, recreational brawling, provoking...well, anything.

Likes: Action, movement, laughter, speed, bruises, music, her band, making other people uncomfortable, anarchy, people who can go toe-to-toe with her, in any arena.

Dislikes: Being told what to do or the word 'no', most systems of government.

Strength: Natural leadership skills, loyalty, sharp wit, combat experience.

Weakness/Flaw: Arrogant and confrontational, with a loud mouth and  a lack of physical strength.
