Joseph Walker
« on: January 08, 2007, 04:53:01 AM »
Name: Joseph Walker
Age: 24
Date of Birth: 9/24/87; Libra, Moon in Aquarius
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Appearance
Hair: A very obviously unnatural blonde; worn curly, with a bit of volume (think Invisible Boy in Mystery Men).
Eyes: Brown
Skin: Very dark, chocolate brown.
Frame: 6'6", 250 Lbs -all muscle. Huge guy, barrel chest, broad shoulders.
Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: Old gang tattoos; the word "Kings" in graffiti script across the back of his neck, and the black outline of a single teardrop below his right eye (yes, it means he killed somebody – no, he doesn't want to tell you about it).

Personality:
Sweet, gentle, and kind. Joe is a mellow guy who goes with the flow. He loves to read, and the pursuit of knowledge is his utmost goal. He would prefer not to talk about his gang days, but he is haunted by an intimate knowledge of the terrible things people can do to one another. Joe has a seemingly endless patience, and is almost impossible to rile. He will not raise a hand to another living thing (or unliving – who knows, in this town?) unless the lives or well-being of his friends or family were being threatened.

Joe has always been awkward around women he has a romantic interest in, and will often resort to high-school romantics; keeping his distance, admiring from afar, and becoming unbearably uncomfortable while in the presence of said female. More than one lucky lady has found stream-of-consciousness love poetry tucked into her mailbox at work, or some other familiar place; always signed 'Your Secret Agent Lover Man'. Somehow, those affections always seem to be misplaced. For example: he is currently deeply in love with bandmate Vivianne, who is not only homosexual, but terrified of sex in general.

History:
Born in Harlem, New York, the youngest of six, he was small and weak, with glasses and braces, he played drums in the school band, and was bullied incessantly because of his small stature and love of learning – until he hit a growth spurt in tenth grade, becoming quite tall and broad, and laid on muscle quickly. Then, he became prime recruiting material for local gangs. Since all of his brothers had joined gangs already – two of them dead; one in a drive-by, the other knifed from behind in an alley – he followed in their footsteps, dropping out of highschool early in his junior year, at sixteen. By the age of eighteen, he was a mid-ranking enforcer within the gang, known for his brutality, but also because of his love of classical literature, which was something of a joke among his fellows.
He met Morgaine after four years in the gang, and took the place of their drummer after he overdosed on heroin, and has been riding with the Hunt ever since.

Awareness of Supernaturals: Like the rest of the band, Joe only knows about Vampires, Weres, shifters, and some demons.

Occupation/Job: Percussion for Wild Hunt.

Interesting Facts / Quirks: Joe often speaks in rhymetime. He is also an active part of the Saint Augustine Church community. He is not an evangelical Christian -- nor does he believe that his is the One True Religion -- but his faith runs deep.

Hobby/Hobbies: Reading, laughing, using the limited medical knowledge he gained from the gang in the frequent scrapes the Hunt finds themselves in, taking in and caring for stray animals.

Likes: Reading, helping people, laughing, playing music on improvised instruments (somewhere along the line, Joe learned how to play the canister vacuum). Genres of music: the forward-thinker of the group, Joe likes genres that haven\'t been named yet, and if they have, they\'ve been named things like: Atompunk, triphop, ambient, synth-punk, neofolk, powernoise, and, simply, Experimental.

Dislikes: Gang violence, intolerance, the mob mentality, talking about his past.

Strength: Obvious and impressive physical size and strength, easygoing attitude, and a patience deeper than the Mariana Trench.

Weakness/Flaw: Evasive, when it comes to his past, and the rhymetime can get a bit annoying.
