I suppose?  As in it is bad? Kysis sighed, but then was swept by confusion again.  If it was bad that he was nervous, why did she hop atop?  What was she doing?  And... Kysis let out a little whimper before he could shut himself up, eyes fluttering closed as she kissed his neck.  He turned his head to the side, allowing better access to that area.  If it wasn\'t blatantly obvious, she had found a weakspot, a serious, instantaneously guarded behaviour dropping weakspot.

A few more broken questions flitted in to his mind, quickly answered by just where she put his hands.  It was kind of awkward, sitting there with his hands on her breasts like that, put he noticed she was untying the corset-like piece of clothing which Kysis could not identify.  Knowing that his hand would probably be in pain if he moved it much, Kysis allowed that left one to roam to her side, resting softly there as the fingers of his other hand wandered off, dancing lightly over the freckles on her shoulders, around her collarbone.  He was trying to find a way to bide his time that involved him not thinking very much, so he would not get increasingly more uncomfortable.  Lam seemed so enthusiastic about it and all... unless she found it a trouphy accomplishment to take a man\'s virginity (Rico didn\'t count).

"And what is it that you are up to?"  His wane smile told that he knew what she was up to at the moment, as he could see her undoing her upper undergarment.  It was just a strange and sudden shift from her asking questions, him being jittery, then her hopping over her and doing things again.  Kysis was absolutely baffled.  He would have brought up the fact that food might be close to ready if he hadn\'t realized she would notice just how nervous he really was.  She was seasoned and experienced and he was...  Kysis didn\'t want to think on that.

"Trying to make you less nervous," she told him firmly, shrugging off her undershirt and discarding it relatively subtly.  She didn\'t sit up to do any grand revealing of her light pink nipples - he was likely to freeze up altogether if she shoved them in his face - choosing instead to disrobe and then press them against his chest, laying along him while her mouth went back to his throat.

She\'d noticed his weakness for the area, and she was quite willing to get settled there for a while, flicking his voice box with her tongue, nibbling on his earlobe and just generally testing and tasting the skin either side of his neck worshipfully.  Combined with subtle brushes from her bare breasts and small, slow grinds by her hips, she was hoping to lessen his distraction and worry margin by exhorbitant amounts.  Her fingers tangled slightly in his hair as her lips worked with gentle passion.

"Makes sense..."

His eyes did follow as she cast her undershirt-thing aside, gaze flicking back to her face with a smile.  Lam was trying to help, and it was appreciated (even if he felt horrible for needing such help).  Squishy.  Why that was the only thought that sprung to his head, Kysis... well, Kysis did know.  He gave a slight chuckle before it was cut off.  Lips sealing tightly, the young lord refused to let out the moan he could feel rising in his throat, as much as it wanted to just pop from his mouth.  Kysis had decided a move observational manner of thought would be best, even if desire was trying to cast it aside.  He\'d always prided himself over control.  Now was going to be no different...

Kysis forced his eyes to remain open, even if they were at slight crescents.  It took a great deal of will to get his hand to move from where it stopped on her shoulder, fingers playfully tracing the curve of the now exposed bossum.  Kysis smiled, that hand moving to try and get Lam\'s lips away from his neck.  The actions there made him want to melt in to submission.  It was not something he normally got, the want to just do whatever he was told no matter what, blindly follow orders.  It was like those kisses made a leash and he was ready to go wherever it might lead, which he was not fond of but could not fight much.

"Mmmm... Lam.... what about.... we should.... dinner...."  The fact that he spoke at all was a miracle.  Couldn\'t she just leave his sensitive neck alone?  For Talon\'s sake, she was killing him with this.

In answer, she scraped her teeth along his jaw, then nipped small, deliberate bites up and down the length of his throat, where the tendons were the most susceptible to stimulation.  "I\'ll eat you, don\' need food," she offered, thereby dismissing his plaintive request.  She knew it sounded tougher than it actually was, for they would eat, but she honestly didn\'t care when (and neither would Matthew).

One thing was certain though; she wouldn\'t be able to sit still if she went downstairs in the condition she was in now.  With this in mind, she kissed and lathered his throat before she eventually came to a bold decision and slid off him.  Her lower half was against his side, left foot flat on the bed and leg arched openly, her upper half still sprawled across his as she attended to his throat.  She took his right hand in her left and drew it towards her crotch - her plans foiled somewhat when the reach was awkward and she had to shuffle up higher, but smoothly recovered in the end (she felt) - working his work-roughened digits into her underpants.

Laying her hand flat atop his, she guided him through the thatch of bristling red and then pressed his middle finger inside her slit.  Her breath left her as the sensation of him slipping effortlessly through wetness and onto the hard nub of her desire shuddered through her entire body, stopping the kisses in order to bite her lower lip and attempt to stifle the whimper it evoked.  It barely worked and she found she didn\'t care as she encouraged him to circle and stroke, her mouth now finding it easier to attach to his ear.  She nibbled on the lobe and flicked her tongue into the delicate shell, all while trying not to cry out or pant too deafeningly right up against his ear.

Kysis felt every kiss upon his neck with a thrill, all his previous reservations fading as his brain went momentarily blank of thought.  The little bites made him tingle a bit, Kysis about to return to lavishing her with his own mouth when she moved again.  There was no resistance to the pulling of his hand, or where it went.  In fact, he was pleased to know she was as turned on has she had been acting, a devilish smile flicking at his lips as his finger was aloud to explore.

Deciding that indeed, this was a somewhat awkward position, Kysis moved to shift, flipping her on her back in the process, hovering over her side.  Much better.  It was time to stratigize, as Lam had put it toying around a bit to see what pressure got what reaction, which way would draw a noise or an arc.  This was enjoyable for him, especially since there was no real subterfuge or misinterpretation involved. A moan was a moan was a moan.  No politics, and as far as he could tell, no faking.

Multitasking was hardly a problem at this moment, Kysis taking the time nibbling at her shoulder and collar bone as his thumb took to flicking about a nub he found next to the entrance.... After a bit of this, though, Kysis was sure Lam must have found some satisfaction (at least as far as he could tell), removing his curious finger and leaning a kiss to her lips.

"Lam, darling, you sure about dinner?"

She was close... so close... and then he went and removed his hand!

"No!" she cried passionately, opening her eyes to look at him through glazed irises so green they practically shone, an expression of absolute devastation on her face around them.  Without further ado, she grabbed his hand and wrenched it back to where it had been.  "Just... just... wait... a minute... just a little more and I\'ll... " she sighed, eyelids already drooping as he obediently went back to stroking her.

He\'d been tooling around, having a grand old time exploring everything while she built very nicely beneath his ministrations, not feeling the need to tell him too much in the way of advice - she did enjoy a virgin\'s penchance for wonder and guileless testing for reactions, rather than the swaggering and carelessness that often accompanied the touch of those more experienced - but it had all been a little... non-specific.  Kysis had only just begun repeating his actions, allowing her to slip into the expectant phase and begin to drift away, when he stopped.

Now, she directed him specifically, telling him to dip in, wriggle, slide up and circle, then repeat.  She writhed as he followed her instructions religiously, her cheeks flushing an unattractive red (in her opinion), sweat gathering on her brow, alternating between panting and holding her breath, nails digging in to his arm as his hand worked her like a master.  It didn\'t take very long, once she had him doing exactly what she liked, and then the shuddering began.  "Press it!  Press it! Oh!  Yes!" she cried, her left hand like a claw upon his, making sure he attended primarily to her throbbing clitoris while the rest of her pulsed into ecstasy.  Her right arm went around his neck and hauled him violently down so that she could kiss him, her tongue and lips rough as she continued to cry out into his mouth upon the breaking of every successive wave of pleasure, jittering against him like a wildcat restrained.

After a minute or so, she released the right hook about his neck as the powerful sensations began to ebb away, the kiss turning gentle until she broke it and opened emeraldine eyes to peer at him, loosening the claw holding his hand to her sex and stretching it, because it ached from being clenched.  Everything did, really... but blissfully so.  Her smile was beatific as she gazed at him.

"Thank you," she breathed, everything tingling and slowing gradually.  Her blinking was the opposite, though; going from closed eyes, to lethargic now, only to be sped up properly when her heart rate dropped in the future.  There was no way she was going to force her way out of the pleasant twilight before time, though - except to return the favour.

She rolled onto her side to face him, kissing his neck automatically and cupping him with her left hand.  "What\'d you say about dinner?" she hummed playfully, fingers stroking over him curiously.

Kysis was too shocked to show the fright at Lam yelling at him and thrusting his pleasuring finger back in.  Soon though he realized why.  Why hadn\'t the guards told him about that?  Oh, yeah, Lam already told him that guards knew little to nothing about making a woman do that.  In fact, he felt a bit embarrassed that such sounds and lamentations were his fault, even though she seemed to be enjoying every little bit of it.

When he was finally allowed to disengage, the first thing he noticed was that he was really hungry.  The next was that Lam started kissing him again.  Was she not good to go now?  Azure eyes widened like plates, more red taking to the already slightly pink cheeks.  Though he squirmed, he did not run away, like he might have done before.  Kysis held his ground, taking a deep breath, putting a soft smile on his lips.  Finally his mind was coming back to where it should be, words put together in orders that made sense.

"Lam, you don\'t have to do that...."

There was this nagging nervousness, itching in the back of his head.  A few questions popped up, but logic quickly dismissed them.  It was just.... strange.  Kysis was not sure what he wanted, not now and not before.  All he knew was that some old wounds were still pretty sore and stung now like they had at the time.  With another deep breath, Kysis tried kicking those thoughts aside, backs of his left fingers running over her cheek.  Was there a way to state he was a bit uncomfortable and no offend her?

For now Kysis would leave it at that.  He wanted to enjoy the rest of his triumphant exhibition day, wanted to enjoy the day off following, horseback riding in the land surrounding Oberon.  It was too tantilizing to risk foiling all of that with his being too paranoid.

"I want to," she breathed contentedly, beginning to kiss down his chest and finding a nipple with her mouth, hovering over him.  "You should feel this good, too," she added with a slight giggle, kissing across his chest now.  Her hands trailed around his stomach, pelvis, groin... brushing lightly, teasingly.

Kysis took another deep breath.  There was a thrill from every touch, but also a fluttering of nervousness, those butterflies having made a camp out of his stomach.  Part of him was screaming: NO! BAD! WRONG!  Where the rest had puppydog eyes and was whimpering a pathetic please.  Kysis wanted to give in to that mentally screaming part, since it was louder and not so horribly submissive, but....

Sighing, Kysis knew that anything he said at all would be offensive on some level.  If he said she shouldn\'t again, there could be the \'what?  you don\'t want me?  is there something wrong with me?\' line which he really did not want to move down.  If he just sneakily slipped away, there would be more trouble than that.  If he mentioned dinner again.... Kysis did not know about that one, but decided to keep his trap shut about it.  Dinner would be a reward for him actually crawling out of that protective shell of prude-ness he\'d used for so long.  Well, it wouldn\'t be the only reward, but it was one that did not make him skittish or nervous as much, so it was the one concentrated on.

"You sure?"

There.  The most non-obtrusive way to show doubts without showing doubts at all.  Kysis could guess the answer but protested no further lest she ponder over his sexuality again.

His quiet request gave her pause and she stopped kissing his stomach and looked up at him, head tilted enquiringly.  She was sprawled over his lower half, hers positioned between his legs by now, but was definitely getting the impression that he wasn\'t exactly... enthusiastic about her going any further.  She\'d promised she\'d do better at letting him have his time and space so she remained there quite contentedly, knowing she ought not to push (and it was much easier since she\'d got what she wanted, anyway).

"Would you rather I waited?  Until after dinner or... would it be... make you happier... if I didn\'t... taste you... at all?" she asked carefully, hoping not to offend him with the questions, for that was sure to send him careering away from her for goodness knew how long, but she needed to know what he wanted.  It wasn\'t like he was the usual type of man she got into her bedroom (which was exactly what she liked about him), whose motives and goals were clear and unabashed.  Kysis wouldn\'t know what unabashed was unless it walked up and slapped him; even then, it was a questionable statement, for he was unlikely to acknowledge such things without dire motivation.

"It\'s just...."  Kysis sighed, a long and frustrated sigh.  The words were all a jumble again, and it took a bit of effort.  He hated admitting things, giving away his emotions.  It felt wrong somehow.  His head shook, platinum hair in a chaotic halo about his face.  It was obvious he was puzzeling out exact words.  Kysis felt extremely self-conscious about it all and...  There were those blasted words, "Not used to touch and nervous and worried and...  Gods I don\'t know."

Kysis said exactly what was on his mind.  Exactly.  Yes, most men would probably be jumping with glee at being on a woman\'s bed in these circumstances.  Kysis was too much of a paranoid perfectionist to settle in to such comfortable lapses, as much as he wanted to.  There was no way to force the sensation of relaxation, otherwise it is not relaxed.  Kysis really hated paradoxes and rued the day he had been drilled on them.  They were evil and never ending, and thus ultimate evil.  Kysis convinced himself of this.

"First time jitters?"  It did not make him feel any better saying it, like he had originally thought.  Those butterflies just errupted in to a full flutter, tormenting all the more with the admission.  The thought of how his only real sexual experience having been with Rico made him want to cringe... at least he had the chance to change that now.

She gave him an indulgent smile, rolling her eyes toward the ceiling in a show of trying to think back.  "I vaguely remember those," she giggled, working her way back up his body to lay atop him, head on his shoulder, nuzzling at his throat and just hugging him as best she could.

"It\'s alright, you know.  I was the one who offered you the chance to do some exploring and learning first anyway, remember?  If you think your curve is sharp enough for the time being, we just... stop.  Go have dinner.  Resume later or... even later than that.  You know," she laughed breathily, blushing a little at the admission she was about to utter, "I\'m beginning to feel decidedly predatory and that I should just back off and let you decide to come to me.  As long as I can borrow a finger every now and then, I\'ll be happy enough that I\'m not in complete control and getting my own way."

She laughed, feeling ashamed to admit such obvious character flaws about herself - no to mention that she was running the risk of being excessively crass - but not too vain to avoid saying it.  She was Captain of the Guard, for Talon\'s sake; not only did she like getting everything her own way, she expected it would happen.  Naturally, Kysis broke that mold... but that was good, too.

Kysis couldn\'t help but smile, even laugh a little at that.  Predatory?  It brought back to mind that image of the kitten pouncing the slumbering rabbit, which only made that smile a bit broader.  Lam was a lot more open with him than he was to her, a twinge of guilt poking his brain.  He hadn\'t even noticed his left hand was lightly rubbing up and down on her back, just the fingers as to not irritate his wound.

It was funny, how far away the exhibition seemed.  The thing was only earlier that day and yet the display was a bit hazy in his mind.  He could remember everything that happened, it just felt like a different day entirely.  Of course, Kysis had not expected any of this to happen, not at all.  Should he thank her for patience?  Should he apologize for making that patience needed?  Kysis realized that someone driven enough to be the Captain of the guard would have to be a control freak on some level, and that this must have felt like murder.

"I\'m not qualified to say.  I want to come out from under my rock but... you keep giving me damn good excuses to crawl back under it."  Kysis fiddled with a strand of red hair for a moment before he went back to that lazy rub (it was more like brushing the skin lightly than a rub).  Constant movement helped him think, and since he could not stand to pace, this would have to do, "We could have dinner, if that would be best."

"If that would be best?" she repeated, smothering a smile (that still mostly shone through) in order to appear exasperated with him and his dithering.  She glanced at the clock and saw that they\'d used up their two hours (only just), but knowing that Matthew would expect a delay and wouldn\'t serve until he heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

"What would be best would be you, overcome with passion, wrenching my hair and shoving me down onto your... you," she corrected with a knowing smirk, believing he\'d flinch if she used the language she was used to (and that had become second nature with all but him).  "I like when that happens," she confided, leaning up to place soft kisses along his lips.  Belatedly, she realised it probably wasn\'t a good idea to be telling Kysis what she\'d liked doing with other men prior to him, but the horse had already bolted that paddock, so she did her best to move the conversation along.  "What would be best, is you telling me which you\'re hungrier for right now - food or satisfaction and then... " she trailed off as a new thought came to her.

"Hey; you say you\'ve been hidden under a rock all these years - until Rico - but have you, well do you satisfy... yourself?  You know... ?" she queried interestedly, raising her eyebrows and expecting an answer in the positive.  She raised her hand hesitantly, about to describe the motion in case he didn\'t get it.

Well, that was... graphic and rather arousing, seeing as he was no longer thinking of small furry animals attacking each other, that image replaced with what she described.  There would be no hair wretching, of course.  Kysis was only violent with his enemies on the field of combat, not with someone who was trying to butter him up to more sensual exploits.  The idea was sounding very good at the moment.

Kysis blinked a few times, pulled out of his thoughts when he heard the name Rico.  He was listening intently now, mouth slightly ajar at the question.  Though he had managed to convince her he was not homosexual, he still had to bound across the barrier of being asexual, which he had been accused of more times than the former.  Could he say the actuallity of it without seeming completely uninterested in the physical (which he had been, just not now)?  A nervous laugh escaped his lips, Kysis\' hand stopping its movement all together.

"I... I don\'t... I\'ve focused more on swordsmanship than... No."

He could have gone on and elaborated that he used to, then found himself bored and just stopped all together.  That was about the time when he started practicing more than anything else.  Learning new weapons was more interesting, good exercise and did not feel like a complete and total waste of his time.  Kysis felt horridly unmasculine at the moment, pretty sure that even priests indulged more in the physical than him.  This was awkward.  Terribly, horridly awkward.
