Deity (if applicable):Personality: Pride. Sai is a very proud person and always has been. She takes insults and aggression very personally. She is typically in a fight or challenging someone else to test herself and to stay on top of everyone else. She has a very quick tongue and never holds back when insulting someone lesser than her. Often times she will not talk to someone below her unless it is for her own good or to shoot off her tongue at them. People have often considered her cold. She does, however, talk to people she likes, those of a high level of the academy or above her. She can get along with a number of different types of people, but can sever those same ties easily enough if she finds a need for it.
Sai never likes to play by the rules, though when it counts the most, she seems to be the relcutant one of the team. Never is she afraid to do what needs to be done in order to complete a task, even if it includes means that others will not usually take. She can be greedy, selfish and conceited, but she can also be the exact opposite on certain occasions.
When she puts her mind to something, Sai will typically get it. She sometimes uses ways of persuasion which can\'t be refused, those being threats, blackmail, or bribery of some sort. She often uses her looks to get what she wants--a flash of skin or a sweet smile. That\'s not to say that she isn\'t a hard worker. Sai will not let anything stand in her way if she wants something. She is determined and ambitious, wanting to become a master.
Only a few people truly can understand who she is and why she does the things she does. Those people are very close to her and hold her secrets well. Typically she doesn\'t trust anyone other than these few people and very rarely does she explain what has happened to her in the past.
History: Originally named Hatsumomo, she is the oldest daughter of a very poor family. She has three brothers and a sister. Hatsumomo, however, was "sold" to get her family out of debt at the age of eight. Those strange people whom had "bought" her abused her in all the ways a young child could be abused. They forced her into becoming a prostitute in a local village. Every night she came home and begged to go back to her family and every night she was beaten and abused again. Eventually she became cold towards the beatings and the meaning of the word love. She developed the name Sai for herself in her head, almost as a liberation name as she developed her plans of escape, including stealing and murdering those whom owned her-- or, rather, thought they did.
The fateful night came when she got the money that she needed to from "working". That night, she bought herself a long dagger from a local vender - a shabby, dull one - and laced her captors food with opium. When the drugs took effect, Hatsumomo tortured them for hours on end with the knife and anything at her desposal. Only once did she slip up and cut the palm of her hand in a violent struggle with one of them. When all was said and done hours after it began, when dawn was approaching, Hatsumomo took their alcohol and set the house ablaze with the victims lying on the edge of death in the palor. Hatsumomo took the opportunity to run off.
After the murders of her captors, Hatsumomo died and, thus, Sai was born from the ashes of her old life. Sai ran far away from the area and was never seen in that part of the land again. She struggled for a few months in the city of Thorrian before very reluctantly turning back to prostitution in a local brothel. It was the only thing she knew how to do besides steal and kill.
One night, a stranger came into the brothel and chose her for the night. This stranger looked vaguely familiar to her but she shrugged it off. But instead of the typical night for her, this stranger offered her a way out of poverty and prostitution. This stranger told her that he knew what she had done, and that there was a place where she could easily live and learn without the regret of death.
A few weeks afterwards Sai Hatsumomo enrolled into the academy.

Character Strength: Sai loves to perfect her skills, no matter what they are. She is beautiful and alluring to most. She has superb aim and consistency. Sai is quick an agile and can remain silent for a period of time allowing her to make stealthy approaches. She has a great amount of strength, contrary to her looks and can easily defend herself against a man twice her size.
Character Weakness/Flaw: She can not use a sword or any other weapon as well as she can use a dagger or a knife and she has a problem dealing with many kinds of magic. Sai can be arrogant sometimes and over judge her own capabilities, thus leading to her loss. She doesn\'t listen well to directions often and cooperates only when absolutely needed. It’s hard for her to cooperate with anyone of authority.
Interesting Facts / Quirks: "Sai" is the name given to her by the stranger whom rescued her from the brothel. It was given to her for identity protection. Saiyura has always had an obsession with blades, ever since she was very young. Her aim has always been good and has been perfected throughout her years of being schooled. She has never had a relationship with a young man her own age. Sai is always afraid of her past and reliving any part of it. She is very reluctant to give herself to anyone, regardless of the reason and will only do so if it is completely necessary. Secretly, she wants to be loved but is so afraid of it that she tries to push anyone who tries to get to know her, away. Typically, she likes working alone but works with others only if she needs to. She hates when people call her Hatsumomo and finds it very offensive.
