Tavisupleba!

(ooc: Tavisupleba means Freedom in Georgian. Also reserved for Maledict)

The corridors were silent and empty. Occasionally, there were whispers behind the walls but if one was to walk closer, they would find nothing but stone and marble. These corridors mimicked a snake, they wound around and around and it was easy to get lost. These halls were  grey scaled and seemed to stretch on forever. Of course, there was always an end… the light at the end of a tunnel.

The time was late, far into the night or even, early into the morning? A Master walked through these halls, his black clock sweeping behind him. Unlike the many Masters, Iveri continued to a black robe. However, it had embroidery and a silver cuff, more extravagant than the garbs of what the Apprentices wore. The other Masters often wore the most, ah, bizarre garments and he didn’t want to be one of them. Plain black was perfectly fine.

How many days before he left for Georgia now? Three more days! It was so hard to wait but when Iveri finally left, he would be in complete rapture. To see the shining lights of Tbilsi! Once again the city he was born in, yes it would be a most wonderful time. Perhaps he would even meet Suke. How long has it been since the brothers have been apart? They had always been close, despite how much they fought but it just got worse as they aged, especially when they turned into creatures of the night. Creatures of the shadows… creatures creatures creatures. The elegant hand clenched, frustration began to slither around the pit of his stomach. Why did they have to fight? It was so petty and so, so juvenile. Hopefully, yes, hopefully, Suke would be there.

Tavisupleba... tavisupleba... dideba tavisuplebas...

Maledict Drogas, awake and wandering, had his thoughts focused on one thing - Tuo. She was due to complete a detention with the newest Master of Confuto, and had thus far not returned. This was worrying enough without his mind wandering to what might be happening to her.

"I\'m not sure... he put me under this trance. Despite it being a few hours ago, it still lingers..."
"...all of a sudden I felt attracted to him! Why? Why would have an attracted to someone like that?"

Maledict growled. The thought of that influence on her, and how he could use it... It infuriated him. It hadn\'t taken long of him waiting for her before he could take it no longer and he began wandering, which led him to where he was now.
Sure is dark, isn\'t it... He mentally droned, trying to force his mind to think of something besides Tuo. The victory was short lived. So he started walking faster, his restlessness similar to that when the lunar cycle was beginning.

Eyes down, smell guiding. A faint scent. Something familiar. From a long time ago...
Maledict tensed, catching a trace of a familiar scent. So he went after it. After all, what harm could it do? Accelerating, accelerating, the smell growing ever stronger.

A smell from Tblisi... purer than before, not masked from the other smells...
This part of the Academy was mostly a mystery to Maledict, but he didn\'t notice. Eyes down, smell guiding, he was sprinting now. After all, what better distraction for a wolf than a hunt?

Blood...

SUKE?!
Maledict stopped. His eyes widened, and he raised his head to view his find a little better. The smell was definitely Suke\'s, but Suke was DEAD.
"Hey you!"

Suke Sofiyanksi, the one with the Japanese name. It meant ‘resurrect rule’ however what did that mean? Was there a purpose behind the name or was it just, just a name? A long time ago, when the brothers were mortal, Suke had complained about his name. He did not want a Japanese name because it was different, every else had a Georgian name, why not he?

The deep thinking took over and so the stranger was not detected. They were only broken upon hearing an angry voice. Oh God, what now? There was no patience to deal with students, Masters… or just anyone in general. There was always someone who wanted to talk to him, always. Most of the time, there was no objection to socialising but tonight, Iveri just wanted to get ready. With a swift movement, he turned to face the stranger. It was a man-no! A werewolf.

Wonderful. Another werewolf to deal with.

Who was this man? Iveri has never seen him, not that he would want to… but this one, who is he?
“What? Spit it out.”
His foot tapped the stone floor. Time was being wasted. Iveri did not like to waste time. This High Apprentice better be quick about or else he would have to face the consequences.

Just go away, go away, go away, go away, go away. Leave me be, I want to be alone. I want to go to Georgia, is it really that hard? All these people… leave me alone.

The man turned, tapped his foot impatiently, and, with a rude and dismissive tone, simply asked "What? Spit it out."

Mal didn\'t respond at the time. He was looking, no, staring, at the spitting image of the man he\'d killed. The one who\'d insulted Tuo.
It was improbable, impossible, for someone who\'s throat had been torn out to get up again, vampire or no. Wasn\'t it? It was contrary to the rules of the universe!

Flicking back to reality rather than continuing that train of thought, Maledict reached out slowly and poked Iveri lightly on the chest. An odd move, and quite a dangerous one at the academy, but hey, he needed to be sure he wasn\'t hallucinating. But no, he was real.

Shaking his head a little, Maledict finally got up the words he needed.
"...Suke?!"

The man didn’t reply just simply stared. Glared. Dared. Those brown eyes were filled with confusion and something else. What was it? Iveri couldn’t quite place it… anyway, he didn’t really care. Hopefully this one would just ask the question and get over with it.

Before he could say another word, the most bizarre thing happened. This brown haired man just walked up to him and poked him in the chest! What an odd gesture, insulting too. For a few moments, Iveri didn’t say anything but that as only because shock over whelmed him. However, his silence was broken upon hearing the sudden words and it broke whatever Iveri was thinking. Out of all things that could’ve been said, that was least expected.

…Suke?!

“…Ra mitkharit?”
He demanded, not aware that he was speaking in Georgian. How could this one know Suke? How, how, how-bah! The man was obviously mad so there was no point in further communication.
“Madman.”
He muttered and with a swift movement, Iveri turned and continued down the corridor. Hopefully the madman wouldn’t follow….
