A quick sketch of Excalibur amid the aftermath of literally getting knocked sideways through the third story of an apartment building, as detailed here.

I love the neo-classic comic book style, and you execute it so beautifully – I\'m in awe. You need to get something published, homes. Fo real.
You are the  hole in my head
You are the space in my bed
You are the silence in between
What I thought
and what I said
You are the nighttime fear
You are the morning when it’s clear
When it’s over, you're the start
You're my head, you’re my heart
Florence + the Machine, "No Light, No Light"

Really like the details of the car and the angle on the ear.

And I swear.... to gawd... that in the car\'s smoke there is a little cartoon potato staring at me. But that\'s just me xD

Nice sketch.

@ Harlequin: I\'m working on the publishing thing... ;)

@ Limbo: IS it you...? Or is there really a hidden potato rising up from the ethereal...? Muahahahaha... :shifty:

...Don\'t play mind games with me. *pout*

And you totally inspired me to do my own art of the thread.....

I hope you don\'t mind me posting it here since it seems related. If I should post it in my own thread just let me know and I\'ll edit accordingly.

Not a bad idea, limbo! I mean, heck, Uprising is the start of a side-plot that\'s gonna affect everybody in HvV by the time it\'s over, why not have pics from different characters\' points-of-view of events? :D

**winces at the double-post...**

New sketches I did over the weekend in between cheerleading duties (open gym session for prospective recruits Friday, doubleheader Saturday, another open gym session last night...:S )

A partial roster of the Order of the Sword. From left to right: Kusanagi, Tizona, Excalibur, and Durandal at top right.

Next is from the Uprising post http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/gundam2003/OrderSwordUprising.jpg[/IMG]]here where Durandal appreciatively nods to RXN for the assist while flying off to check on Excalibur.

Enjoy! :) (P.S. @ Limbo: Hope I got RXN\'s costume right, I was working from memory!)

Lovely set-ups for the sketches and details on the outfits. Of course, like is common with your style, anatomy is wonderful.

And you did well at creating RXN\'s outfit from memory. ^-^ I love the details of RXN\'s gloves! I also enjoyed the design of the robot underneath.

I personally have a hard time designing more mechanical things like the robot and smaller details on outfits so I appreciate your skill on those.

:D Thanks! Btw, I\'m planning a "comic book cover" of Uprising, and Covington will be on there, thanks to your involvement in Uprising: Cry Havoc :)

look for that sometime later on in the week...

He looks like he came to chew bubblegum and kick ass.

AND HE\'S ALL OUT OF BUBBLEGUM.

(In the time-honored tradition laid before us by our acestors--Shinigami--cool point to whoever tells me where that comes from 8D)

I envy your grasp of anatomy. This guy\'s awesome--and such a dynamic pose! Wonderful! 8D I can\'t wait to see it colored!
