Just The Two Of Us
« on: March 07, 2008, 04:27:03 PM »
“Papa! Papa!” The high-pitched squealing of the toddler was barely heard over the screaming and giggling of older siblings. The two-year old lifted his arms up trying to grab onto his father’s leg. Around him, his older sisters ran wildly about playing tag. Their red curls bounced wildly about as they ran. The two-year old began to cry as he pulled on the fabric of his father’s pants. The father sighed before finally leaning over and picking the small boy up. Cradling the toddler against his side, he waved a hand to try and stop the oldest daughter from running. She stopped instantly, grinning up at her father. Her round freckled cheeks were ruddy from chasing the younger girls.

“Yes, papa?” She asked curiously, anxious to continue the chase. She played with her dark green gown a bit as she waited for her father to respond. The other two girls had stopped running as well. They held each other’s hands looking like mirror images of each other. Even the red curls that were out of place from their ponytails seemed to be the same. Their gowns were a light lavender and they had similar smiles gleaming on their round faces. They curtsied towards their father before running over to a woman that was sitting on a loveseat. The twins scrambled up on either side of the woman. Their mother began to fuss, fixing their ponytails. Her own hair was very neat and proper and did not match her children’s red wild hair at all. In fact, her hair was a shiny platinum blonde. It was pulled back into a rather elaborate updo.

“Isabel, could you please keep it down, you’re scaring Henry.”  The children looked much more like their father. The round face, red curls, blue eyes, and freckles were just a few things. Isabel looked up at her father before glancing over her shoulder at her mother. She nodded before running out of the living lounge and into the entrance hall. The twins jumped off the couch and followed quickly, almost knocking over a maid.

The maid regained her balance before curtsying, letting herself be known. She kept her gaze down on the ground waiting to be given permission to speak. The woman didn’t look towards the father as he went over to sit beside his wife. He got settled, setting his son on his lap. The toddler pulled at the gold chain around  his father‘s neck. The chain held on a rather flowing brown short cloak that barely covered his tight-fitting green nobles’ tunic.

“What is it, Betty?” His wife asked, shifting on the couch a little bit. The son let out a squeal of joy as he patted his small hand against his father‘s chest.

“Ah, excuse the interruption, but Duke and Lady Boivin, there is a visitor here. He’s asking for Duke Boivin.” She curtsied quickly as she waited for the response.

The father and mother exchanged glances before the father shifted the toddler over to the mother. The woman watched as her husband got up and brushed his clothing off. “Honey, you don’t think it’s…?” Her words were cut off by a shake of her husband’s head. He leaned over, kissing her forehead and ruffling his son’s hair before walking out into the hall.

The maid scurried past him to try and open the door for the man but he quickly spoke up, “No no Betty, I would like it if you could go to the kitchen now.”  The woman’s direction of walking changed instantly at the order and she gave another quick curtsy before running off.

He reached the door in a couple seconds. Frowning at the door, he went through the many possibilities of who could be on the other side. He hoped it wasn’t news of another death. The man still hadn’t gotten over the recent death of his childhood instructor. After a deep breath, he opened the door, “Good afternoon…” He was going to have more of a greeting but he found himself speechless. A dark flush appeared on his cheeks, quickly becoming the same color of his neatly trimmed goatee beard. He went out on the step, quickly closing the door behind him. It took the man a few seconds until he was able to gasp in shock,

“Dee!”

While waiting for Blake’s arrival, Dee rested his hand upon the door’s frame. He tapped his finger once against the wood before curling it into a fist. He sighed and glanced over his shoulder. There were not a lot of people about but that was only due to the weather. It was going to rain and by the looks of it, pretty damn heavy too. Dee was thankful his journey had been uneventful or otherwise, he might have been caught in the storm. There was nothing worse than wet clothing. Returning his gaze to the door, Dee sighed. Their last meeting had been years.

Ever since Dee had completed his journey into knighthood, he was careful not to waste time. Instead of staying in Oberon, the young Knight ventured forth into the unknown. Having heard wonderful rumours about the mysterious east, Dee had decided it was time to leave home. The journey was long and tough but it was worth it. Dee had intended traveling further than Greece but after staying in the country for a week, he couldn’t leave. The country was far too beautiful. It was so different from Oberon. And to Dee’s delight, it did not take him long to find a lover. About a month of living in Greece, Dee had met a young Greek gentleman. He was the son of a Turkish noble… however, in exile. Even though it was none of his business, Dee had asked why. The Greek responded it was because he didn’t want to marry someone he didn’t love. Dee couldn’t help but agree. It was, after all, an excellent reason. Also why, he was not married. His love for the male body was far too great. And anyway, who cares about the bloodline? The world didn’t need more Pencawrs’.  Despite being fond of his new ‘lover’, Dee couldn’t help but feel regret. He still loved Blake.

Dee irritably smoothed out the invisible wrinkles on his tunic. He wanted to look good. No, he wanted to look more than good. Lifting a hand, Dee smoothed down his hair. It was short now. It was still curly and soft, but it was now a reasonable length. That is, for a knight. He couldn’t have long hair like that and swing a sword around… not that Dee did a lot of that in the first place The knight started upon hearing the creak of a door opening. His heart was thudding rapidly against his chest. His mouth was dry. His right fist clenched, nails digging into the soft skin.

“Blake…” Dee croaked, rushing forward to embrace his past lover. He did not care whether anyone saw. Nestling his nose into Blake’s neck, he inhaled the younger’s scent. The smell comforted him. Dee rubbed Blake’s back. “Blake…” It had taken Dee a while to get Blake’s address. It was surprising how many people were reluctant to give out information.

The sudden hug had startled Blake at first. His hands went limply up to give a sort of hug. It felt like he was suddenly pitched into some sort of surreal world. It had been years since he last saw his adolescent lover. The years had simmered down the anger that Blake had felt when he was younger. In the past, he had quite the temper though and took it out on Dee occasionally. He couldn’t even think of why he had been angry in those days or why they had argued at all. The only thing that stood out in his memory were the good times.

Around the same time that Dee had left (unknown to Dee), Blake’s father had passed away from a blood disease. Distraught from the loss of both his lover and his father, the red-head soon took into habit a more dangerous lifestyle. Hunting without care of weather or tools, slumming it in bars where less than perfect people resided, and drinking heavily. This went on for around a year until his archery instructor did a forceful intervention. Blake moved in with Robin (’to recover’) and it wasn’t long before the two began a relationship of their own. Blake wandered away from his destructive habits and spent his time with Robin instead and learning archery.  A few months passed and Robin began to become sick. The instructor, now lover, demanded that Blake go back to his family and appease them so he wouldn’t feel guilty for skipping on duties. In the next month, Blake was married to a noble woman. If only Dee could have stopped by then. Blake when he was a young man, beginning to take over Robin’s position as archery instructor and with a pregnant wife.

The initial surprise, more from seeing Dee in front of him than the hug itself, began to wear down. Blake wrapped his arms around Dee now, hugging him just as tightly. He breathed in deeply before suddenly looking down. He was considerably taller than Dee. Having inherited his father’s side of height, Blake now was a tall 6 foot. It appeared Dee had stayed at 5’7” or so. Blake couldn’t help but laugh, “You’re short.” He suddenly broke the intense reunion. His hands ran down Dee’s back before resting on the other’s hips.

Dee sighed heavily, running his hand up Blake’s back. Was it possible to be this happy? Even though he had enjoyed those few years in Greece, it couldn’t match up to what he was feeling now. Dee half regretted going to the Mediterranean. He should have stayed by Blake’s side…but he just couldn’t stay in Oberon forever. Dee had to travel. And particularly, get away from his father, even if it was only a little while. He had yet to meet the deranged man. Hopefully, it would never come.  The knight let out another sigh. He felt overwhelmed by emotions. Never would he imagine what an embrace could do, cause such intense emotions to flood throughout his entire body. Dee kissed Blake’s neck.

Dee responded with a laugh, also dropping his hands down to Blake’s hips. He looked the Duke up and down, admiring the nicely formed body. “And you’re tall.” Dee was a knight and they weren’t allowed to be flimsy. He had a broad chest, wide shoulders and defined muscles. Not only that, Dee had a tan. After all those years in Greece, he had lost that pale glow.

“You look great, Blake.” Dee commented, lifting a hand to play with the other’s curls… but there was none to play with. Like Dee, Blake had also cut his hair. Resting his hand upon the other’s chest, Dee pressed his lips into a pout. “You cut your hair! That’s okay, I suppose… but I do like your beard.” Dee now played with that. It would have to do. It was nothing like the curls but Dee couldn’t deny that he liked the feel. He didn’t have a beard. His chin and jaw was smooth, perhaps even more so than nine years ago. All those baths had softened his skin.

A soft blush appeared on his cheeks at the kiss on his neck. He brought his fingers down to trace the other male’s body. It was much more muscular than his, though Blake would have bet that they were pretty equal in upper body strength. Being an archery instructor had built up Blake’s upper body muscles quite a bit.

Blake continued to survey his old lover with a stunned look. His fingers ran over the other’s chest. He thought that Dee looked much more handsome and mature with a tan. It looked well against the lighter colored hair. Blake wondered absently if the tan was on all of Dee’s body.

The man smiled lightly when Dee continued to speak. His blush darkened at talk about his hair. He had styled his hair in a crew-cut and grown a nicely trimmed beard in hopes of appearing much older. Without these changes to his look, Blake still had the round face of a teenage boy and would look a few years younger than he actually was.

“Thank you.” Blake responded politely, “You look… great too.” He smiled lightly before looking back at the closed door behind him. His family was inside. Should he introduce Dee to his family? Blake bit his lower lip anxiously, trying to figure out what to do. He wanted to talk to Dee more but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to introduce Dee to his current family. It would be too awkward, both for him and for Dee. But then again, it was starting to rain. A few droplets fell on his face and Blake looked up at the sky. Guess they would have to go in.

“Well, come in… we can…” He paused, watching Dee for a moment before turning towards the door, “have tea or something.” He finished up quickly. Blake opened the door and led the way in. Instantly he was hit by one of his twin daughters hitting his leg. The girl stumbled back, rubbing her forehead, “Sorry papa.” She apologized, curtsying. Curious, she looked beyond her father trying to see the guest that was coming in.

Blake certainly did look older with that haircut and beard. He no longer looked the round faced teenager that Dee remembered so well. It wasn’t a thing of course. Dee liked Blake’s new look, it suited the young Duke very well. However, Dee wouldn’t mind seeing those cute little curls again. The emotions were still overwhelming but he decided not to dwell on them too long.  Dee wanted to pay all of his attention onto Blake and nothing else. Only to now, he hadn’t realised how much he had missed Blake. During all those years in Greece, Dee had always thought about his old lover. Whether absently or whatever, Blake was always in the back of his mind. “Thank you? You said thank you?” Dee teased, his eyebrows raised in mock shock. Laughing a little, he patted Blake’s chest. He would never forget Blake’s spoilt, bratty behaviour. “I’m glad you think so…”

Dee took a step inside. He looked around the manor with keen interest. It was certainly well decorated, much nicer than his fathers. But then again, he hadn’t been to Pencawr manor years. Hopefully, it would remain that way. Even though Dubhdara couldn’t hurt him like ten years ago, the man could still do damage. Dee returned his gaze to Blake’s, his lips curved into a neat smile. “Have tea?” He repeated, “Sure why not, Blake. It’s your house and I’m your guest. I’ll abide by your rules, whatever they may be.” Dee made a movement but it was stopped short thanks to a little figure. He stared at the girl. Never in a million years, would Dee imagine Blake having children. It was quite a shock. He wondered vaguely if there were more. Bending down, Dee held out his hand to the girl, “Hello.” He cracked a charming smile. His odd eyes twinkled. “I never knew you had children Blake… what is this one’s name?”

Blake still felt in shock. He hadn’t expected to see Dee ever again. For some reason, the redhead thought that Dee would stay traveling and never come back or something along those lines or even if he came back they wouldn’t meet up again. The world felt like it was going in a whirl all of a sudden and Blake felt just a tad light-headed. He glanced down at his daughter when he felt her bump into his leg. Blake nodded lightly to let her know it was okay, he glanced at Dee however when the other suddenly held out his hand.

“Uhm…” Blake stammered. He wasn’t sure how to react to Dee finding out that Blake had children. Was it something he was suppose to write in a letter? Blake never wrote to Dee. They hadn’t parted on the best of terms, Blake at the time was very upset that Dee was leaving and refused to acknowledge it. Looking back on it, he had been very childish about the whole situation. Rubbing his temple, he glanced down the hall. Sure enough, the other twin and her older sister were following to see what was going on. It wouldn’t be long before his wife came out to the hall as well. A sudden constriction happened in his chest. He wasn’t sure if he could handle how awkward that would be.

“Yes, I do…” He finally replied. The girl gently took Dee’s hand and curtsied before him. Her blue eyes sparkled as she introduced herself, “Hello, I am Lady Anne, daughter of Duke and Lady Boivin.” She glanced over at her father. Blake instantly smiled to show that she had introduced herself properly. The twins were currently learning court manners and were taking any opportunity to show them off.

It was only a second later until the other girls had joined the growing group. Each girl curtsied and introduced themselves in similar fashion. Blake smiled before finally speaking up, “Isabel,” The older girl looked over at her father, “Could you please take the twins to your mother and tell her that I have an important guest. I’m going to go up to my study and you guys may begin dinner without me.” The girl nodded. Grabbing onto her sister’s hands, she curtsied again before running off quickly.

Blake looked back at Dee, “Well… come on.” He spoke up in a weak voice. There was a bright blush now on his cheeks. He felt a tad bit embarrassed about not telling Dee about his kids at all. The duke started walking up the stairs, figuring that Dee would follow. When they reached the top of the stairs, he ushered the other into a room.

The room was a mix of a study and a bedroom. On one side of the large room there was a desk with letters, quills, books. On the other side was a medium-sized bed covered in plush blankets and pillows. Blake went stopped at the inside of the room, just a foot away from the door. He didn’t turn around to see if Dee had shut the door behind him. Blake placed a hand over his mouth, absently scratching at his lower lip. What would they talk about? They hadn’t seen each other in so long. So much had happened. Would it even be the same? They were full grown men now, not young wild boys. Would they even find anything to talk about past small chat? The questions and worries bombarded Blake as he stood there with his back to Dee in the dimly lit room.

It was true. Dee had been quite discreet about his leave. At the time, he just had to get out of Oberon. It was for a good reason too or at least, he believed. The day he turned into a Knight, Dubhdara had requested his presence. Let’s just say the social event didn’t end well… a black eye for each Pencawr and various cuts here and there. It was nothing like the dinner event nine years ago but it was enough to make Dee want to leave. Despite all this, it still wasn’t an excuse. He should have told Blake what was going on. If it weren’t for his stupidity, Dee and Blake could have been sharing a house. But then again, since when did two men live together? In Greece they sure did but Oberon? It was another world.

Once the introductions had settled, Dee smiled at the children then followed Blake. They were cute and looked exactly like Blake. The curly hair, the blue eyes and the freckles, it was as if they were miniature Blake’s… minus the gender thing of course. Dee was careful to keep his distance Blake. He just wanted to push his old lover up against the wall and give it to him here and now. Swallowing the lump in his throat, Dee resisted the temptation by clenching his fists. The nails dug into his flesh. Once entering the study, the knight shut the door with a snap. He remembered all those times when… he had sex with the door open. It never ended well. It was also a foolish thing to do, especially with all those children about.

Silently, Dee watched Blake’s backside. He bit his bottom lip in apprehension. How funny it was, only a moment ago he wanted to do everything to Blake… but now?  The Knight felt timid and shy. Swallowing the new lump in his throat, Dee took a step. It was soon followed by another and then another. He wrapped his arms around Blake’s stomach, resting his head against his old lover’s shoulder. Dee inhaled the other’s scent once more. In a comforting fashion, Dee’s hands rubbed up and down Blake’s belly and chest. If anyone happened to walk in, one would realise that their relationship was more than just friendship.

“I’m so sorry, Blake.” Dee apologised quietly. “I’ve missed you… a lot.”

Blake continued to scratch at his lip. He was about to turn around and say something, anything to break the silent tension but was stopped when he felt arms around his waist. A shiver ran through his body and he grabbed onto Dee’s hand in a gentle fashion. How long had it been since Dee had touched him? Too long. He didn’t move not wanting to disrupt Dee. Shivers continued to run through him, numbing his entire body.

Blake kept a hand on Dee’s hand, following it as Dee rubbed up and down. Tingles began to appear in his senses. He hardly heard the apology. His focus was completely on the physical sensations running through him. Even though they were full grown adults, the adolescent desire for danger was still being sparked. What would happen if Dee became his mistress? How would his wife handle that? Despite Blake’s love for males, he still loved his wife. They had a mature relationship that understood the sacrifices each one made to make their parents happy with the marriage. Blake had a feeling that she would not stop him from having affairs, but she would be hurt dreadfully by such a thing. He didn’t want to hurt her.

But Dee felt so good and even if the two boys had grown into men, it still felt like the Dee from before. Blake turned around in Dee’s arms to face the other. He stared down at Dee. It was a tad bit amusing to have to look down to see Dee, before he would constantly have to look up. His hands wandered to rest on Dee’s chest. He wasn’t able to think anymore or worry anymore. Blake leaned down, pressing his lips against Dee roughly. He suddenly took a swift step. His arm went around Dee’s waist and in a quick motion, Blake slammed the other male against the closed door in a passion. As he kissed Dee, his fingers moved over to lock the door quickly before going back to stroking Dee’s chest and waist.

Dee did not fight against the sudden movement but then again, why would he? He groaned behind the kisses, lifting a hand to thread through Blake’s short hair. How he missed those sweet curls. All the same, Dee relished the moment. The throbbing between his legs had at first been tepid, now it felt a great deal harder. He moaned again, a little louder than the first. Dee had honestly assumed that Blake wasn’t going to submit. That he had no chance in hell to be with Blake again… but obviously, this was not the case. As it seemed, Blake wanted Dee just as bad. He wrapped his arms around Blake’s neck, rubbing his hips against the duke’s. The sensation within him was bubbling dangerously. Even though the rain pelted against the window, every little bit of him felt boiling.  It was like he had a bath.

With little effort, Dee now pushed Blake against the wall. Taking the chance, he discarded his vest and tunic. Standing on the tips of his toes, Dee went for another kiss. Yes, it was strange and little amusing that he had to look up rather than down. He pushed his tongue inside Blake’s mouth, wanting to please his old lover. Pulling back, he ripped off Blake’s upper garments playfully. He trailed a finger down Blake’s front. It delicately had been long since their last meeting. Dee sucked Blake’s throat then slowly moved down to his shoulders, hands resting upon the slender hips. His lips soon found Blake’s nipple, he sucked tenderly against the flesh.

Blake had been overtaken with surreal passion. He didn’t have the childish energy to try and hide his desires anymore. While Blake held a tad bit of a grudge against Dee for being left behind, the years had worn away any sort of action he would have made on that grudge. He returned Dee’s moans with one of his own. It sounded odd to him. His voice was much more deeper than it had been back when him and Dee were together. Oh, so much had changed in just those 9 years. He gripped at Dee’s shoulders as their bodies flipped and this time it was him being pushed against the wall. Moving his hands so that Dee could strip away the vest and tunic, Blake’s fingers went to pull at Dee’s waistband. He pulled at the laces holding on the pants.

Every kiss, every touch, every stroke of the tongue was driving Blake deeper and deeper into a different dimension. Or maybe it was the real dimension he was going into, maybe Dee never had left and that his family and career now were all fake. He frowned lightly as he felt a light-headed sensation as his clothing was pulled off. He blushed a tad bit. Since he last saw Dee he had grown a fair amount of chest hair that was the same bright red as his beard.

Panting softly, he watched as Dee began to kiss him all over. His fingers continued to play lightly with the laces of the other’s pants. He moaned, “Dee…Dee… let’s move to the bed.” He was finding it awkward standing with their height differences. Blake wanted to see Dee like he use to, where he wasn’t taller than the other. He didn’t move however not wanting to disrupt Dee’s kisses. His fingers wandered on their own, sneaking past the undone laces to reach in to give a soft touch to the hardened flesh beneath the undergarments.

Dee would have reached Blake\'s member it weren’t for a wondering hand. He hadn’t even realised that his laces had been pulled. In fact, Dee almost didn’t hear what Blake had said. It sounded like a soft wind so the young knight had paid no attention. “Blake!” Dee had uttered, looking up into his lover’s face. His cheeks were hot and flushed, his lips slightly parted as if dazed. His odd eyes quivered and were bright with excitement. His naked, slightly hairy chest rose and fell with every breath. Dee’s eyes lingered upon Blake’s lips. They were just as full as he remembered. Standing on his toes, Dee went for another kiss.  “Bed…” Dee declared as he fell back onto his feet, swaying as he stood. Taking Blake’s hand, the two males stumbled towards the bed.

With a firm push, Blake fell back onto the bed. Dee looked down at him, the desire obvious behind his eyes. He pulled down his pants then Blake’s, throwing them both to the side. He kissed the stiff member once before sliding onto Blake’s lap. It was an odd and strange position for Dee… and so it was changed. Taking hold of Blake’s arms, he fell back onto the bed. Before returning with the kissing, Dee took time to look into his past lover\'s eyes. They were a brighter blue than he remembered. He lifted a hand to cup Blake’s face, “Blake…” he uttered, leaning forward for a kiss.

Blake tried at first to start walking towards the bed, but was stopped by the kiss. He licked at Dee’s lips before nibbling on the lower lip. For a moment he tried to hold onto the other so that the kiss wasn’t broken. He realized that Dee was just trying to do what Blake had suggested. He nodded quickly in agreement to the one-word response. His fingers gripped at Dee’s hand holding on tightly.

A soft gasp left his lips when he was pushed down onto the bed. He landed softly against the comforter. Bouncing on the blanket, he met Dee’s gaze looking right back at him. He moved his legs, helping get his pants off. The soft and quick kiss on his erection made Blake moan before grabbing onto Dee’s short hair. He pulled it gently as the older man moved upwards. He gasped as he was moved yet again by Dee’s forceful grip. Straddling Dee’s hips this time, he looked down at Dee.

“Dee…” He gasped back as he stared back at Dee’s eyes. As soon as the other leaned forward, Blake met the kiss eagerly. His tongue pushed in, swirling around the other’s tongue. It felt odd that his hips weren’t right at Dee’s hips. He had to create more of a curve in his back to get into the position that he was familiar with with Dee. He moaned behind the kiss again.

As he looked up into Blake’s eyes, Dee felt a nasty squirm within his stomach. At first, he was confused what it was but after a moment or so of quick pondering, the knight realised what it was. It was regret. He should have stayed. Maybe both of their lives could have been different… not only did he feel regret, Dee also felt ashamed… but, now was not the time to think. He could do that later...

Dee returned the kisses just as eagerly. He pushed his tongue inside Blake’s mouth, against the other\'s tongue. The bitter emotion he was feeling before had now evaporated. Yes, the desire had always been there but now, it was a great deal stronger. With every kiss, the want of sexual pleasure came clearer. Even though it was not at all possible, Dee wanted this to last forever. To be Blake’s side, forever and ever… what a dream that was. The knight let out a little moan, lifting a hand to grasp Blake’s forearm. His back arched his intense pleasure.

“Blake…” Dee breathed, pushing back his lank hair. “Do you have any lubrication?” And for some reason, the red head laughed a little. Perhaps it had been all those times that they had sex without it. He trailed his fingers up and down Blake’s arm, not once breaking the eye contact. His odd eyes were bright with excitement. Oh, it was so wonderful to be back by Blake’s side… even if it was in secret. Dee doubted that Blake would ever want to leave Oberon. It was a sad thought but it was the truth. Even though Dee probably wouldn’t like it, he wouldn’t deny it. Only fools deny what is real and what is not.

Blake pushed the kisses against Dee wildly. His tongue flicked in and out. Perhaps Dee would be able to pick up that the other had improved greatly in his kissing techniques in obvious ways that he did not learn from Dee. Then again, it could easily be overlooked. A shiver of anticipation ran through his body as Dee gripped his arm. The man arching underneath him began to drive his passions to a point  he hadn’t felt in a long time.

He paused when he heard the question, staring down at Dee for a moment. The second the other red-head laughed, Blake met it with his own giggle. He knew exactly what was so ‘funny’ about the question. Watching the other, he smiled before suddenly pouting his lips in his usual teasing frown. His lips looked the same as when he had been younger, but now there was still that distinction that Blake was older and the pout looked quite childish on his expression.

The man leaned down, nibbling at Dee’s neck, “Yes, I do.” He answered softly, his hands beginning to wander up and down the other’s body, “But let’s just ignore it… for old time’s sake.” A soft giggle left his lips and he licked at the flesh on Dee’s collarbone. His hips grinded up against Dee’s member. A shuddering moan left his lips. Oh, how he had missed the feeling of Dee. Yes, their bodies had matured and were different than before, but when Blake closed his eyes he could tell that it was Dee right away.

Blake moved his hips up a little bit, propping himself up on his knees. He glanced over his shoulder, preparing himself to sit down onto Dee. The man paused however, placing a hand on Dee’s chest. “Dee…” He spoke up, about to continue but his words were cut off by a loud knock on the door. Blake jolted like a cat getting it’s tail stepped on. Jumping off Dee instantly, he rolled off the bed and stood up. Another knock sounded. Blake glanced over at Dee with his wide blue eyes. Surprise and a bit of desire was still sparkling in them.

He grabbed his pants, quickly pulling them on before another knock sounded followed by a voice. “Blake, darling?” Blake looked at Dee again, before motioning for the other to put on his clothes. He grabbed at his shirt and robe. The man dressed sufficiently enough, adjusting his robe. His belt had broken in the process, but he had no time to think about it. The door knob clicked and Blake thanked the heavens he had locked it. The voice spoke up again, “Blake, dear, I wanted to know if you wanted to say good night to the children before they head to their bedrooms.”

Blake cleared his throat, still trying to adjust his clothing, “Uhm, yes, yes. Just give me a minute or two, please.”

The knock too had surprised Dee. At first, he didn’t quite believe what he heard but after a moment or two, the man realised. Behind that door was no doubt Blake’s wife, the mother of his little girls. Dee didn’t know what to feel, nor did he know what to do. All that could be done for the time being was lay and wait, he didn’t even want to utter his lover’s name. It was such an odd emotion that was bubbling within Dee, he didn’t know how to describe it. In the past, whenever Blake and he hade made love, they didn’t have a worry in the world but now? Blake had a wife, children too. Dee had to take in this into account, making sure to be very careful or otherwise, he would loose Blake forever. Oh why! Oh why did he leave to Greece? The squire was beginning to regret the whole move, the need to leave Oberon. Why did he go anyway? What was the real fucking reason?

Dee sighed, scratching the back of his head. It felt like someone had hacked away at his happiness and fed the remains to a hungry dog. It was not a nice feeling, not at all. He sighed again, reaching for both his breeches and tunic. Once properly clothed, Dee walked over to Blake. Dee touched his hand, standing on the tips of his toes to deliver a small but sweet peck. It wasn’t much but it was enough. Dee then moved away, turning so that his backside faced Blake. If his wife cared to look inside, she would find nothing suspicious. No matter what Dee felt, he wouldn’t say it in front of Blake’s wife.

Not yet anyway.
