"I offered, didn\'t I?" he pointed out with a smile, shuffling his butt back a little so that it was pressed more firmly against the back of the sofa.  He lay on his left side, raised up so that his elbow was supporting him on the flat, padded cushion of the couch\'s left arm and his long legs were extended down to the end of the three seater, feet alternating between being on the other arm or poked beneath the edge of it.

"Come," he ordered, switching the remote into his left hand and patting the generous amount of bare cushion in front of his flat stomach.  It occurred to him she might be hesitating because she wanted him to put a shirt on but he could only hope that wasn\'t the case; he\'d begrudgingly pulled pants on for her, a shirt wasn\'t going to happen, even if it turned out she was allergic to every hair on his chest and the line down the centre of his abdomen.  Well... maybe then.

Alec stood hesitantly and walked over to the three seater. She sat down in front of Tau, immediately feeling the heat. She lay down next to him, coming in contact with his skin, the heat felt wonderful to her. She scooted her fairly smaller frame down so that he could see above her head to the television, her frame was so much smaller than his and she fit to him. She faced outward so he would be at her back, and she could see the TV. Her back and bare patch of skin above it came into contact with his skin as she lay there for a moment. She felt a little awkward but far more comfortable. She made an inward hissing noise that sounded content as she involuntarily scooted a little closer. "Thank you," she said quietly.

He chuckled, the sound no doubt vibrating through her as well as him, now that she was so close to him.  "You are welcome," he told her, the smile evident in his voice even if she couldn\'t see him.

It was only natural for his right arm to become draped around her waist after it reached up and took the remote back from his left hand.  He dropped down then, so that his head was resting on his dangling left arm and he could see the TV over her head.  His right arm flexed minutely upon her waist as he began changing channels repeatedly.

"Anything you particularly like to watch?" he mused, watching the animated flicker of the television with interest.  He was not a fan of any particular show, he just liked to watch the colours swirl and flick; every now and then he happened upon something he liked - usually it was an animal documentary - but he didn\'t really have the attention span to become involved with anything long-term.

Alec would either have to stop him quickly if something she liked showed up, or snatch the remote off him.  His reflexes were excellent but he wouldn\'t expect that response from his demure houseguest; it would have interesting consequences, too... should she be game enough.

If there were anyone to come in now, it would look like Tau and Alec were a couple. She flushed slightly as his arm came around her waist, she could feel the tiny movements of his hand through his arm. She shook her head quickly at his question, watching the channels change every few seconds. She suddenlly had an idea and a small smirk grew on her face. She moved her arm almost unnoticably and waited a few moments before quickly sliding the remote out of Tau\'s hand. Her hand moved fast, almost like a snake; after all, the latin translation of her name meant quick. She pulled it close to her and flipped the channels a few times, waiting for Tau\'s reaction with a smirk.

Tau\'s powerful body tensed behind Alacer\'s as he sensed a game afoot.  He hadn\'t accounted for his houseguest\'s lightning fast speed, he\'d only banked on his superior size being a dominant factor in terms of their animal selves; now he saw that he\'d been foolish to make that assumption... and he was delighted!

"Well, if you wanted to make the choice, you only had to say so," he told her mildly, his foot flicking as he watched her alertly.  He couldn\'t see much from his position - just the top of her head, in fact - and so he had to rely on his other senses to tell him where she held the remote and what her intentions were.  In his opinion, she wanted to play and he was more than happy to oblige.

"Though it is my television," he announced, excitement lifting his voice as octave as he struck on the last word - his right arm reached up to yank the remote back off her.  He had to basically feel his way to her arm and was intending to use brute force to get it back.  The downside was, of course, that he only had good reach with his right hand in his current position.

Alec\'s true playfulness was coming out. She pulled the remote closer to her stomach. The only advantage she had was that now she new she was faster. She smirked as she felt him reaching for the remote. "It may be your TV but I have the remote." She tried to thik of where she could move so that he wouldn\'t get the remote.

Pulling the object she held closer to her body was a mistake; Tau could easily reach it and as soon as his fingers travelled off the skin of her arm and touched plastic (due to him feeling his way to his goal, rather than looking at it), he was triumphant.

"Ha!" he exclaimed and closed his hand around the controller - should her hands have tried to stop him, his fingers would wheedle and prod them away.  He was far stronger and determined, he could wrest the remote from her grasp easily.

Oddly, however, he didn\'t just snatch it back, he engaged in a tug of war over the plastic block, lifting Alec\'s arm as he \'tried\' to get it back, their entwined hands now describing an enthusiastic dance in the air above both their bodies.  He didn\'t even reach down and over her with his left arm; he seemed content just to pull and twist and fight playfully over the remote instead.

In the recesses of his mind, it occurred to him that his enjoyment was primarily due to the fact that he hadn\'t had anyone to play with in so long, he didn\'t want it to end quickly... but there was something else, too.  Something connected to the press of his body against hers as they writhed lightly on the couch, something that greatly enjoyed the fact that he was a heat source and that she needed to get this close to him, something that liked the scent of her and the feel of her strong body fighting back against him.  Something that was revelling in altogether different aspects of this little game... something he wasn\'t prepared to acknowledge consciously at all.

"No!" she almost yelled as he tried to pull it out from her. She tugged on it but he was stronger. He pulled her arm above them and kept tugging while she tugged back. She twisted so that she was on her back and she could grab the remote with her other hand. She tried to pull it to her unsuccessfully but she tried to pull it quickly in a slight jerk. It came closer to her but not out of his grasp. It had been many years since she had played and Alec realized that as she gave a laugh. She kept trying to pull the remote away, unsuccessful each time. "No fair, you\'re stronger!" she  exclaimed laughing. She moved against him but was more preoccupied with playing with the small piece of plastic.

(ooc: You sure you don\'t mean she twisted so that she was laying on her back?  If she rolle donto her stomach... she\'d be facing the floor and not doing a whole lot of fighting with her other hand)

"Mhmm," he purred, lifting his upper body so that he was leaning up on his elbow once more, his head cradled in the palm of his hand.  He wore a smug smirk as he looked down at her, enjoying her struggles and still not ending the battle.  He was gaining steady ground on teh remote, though... just to be sure he won when he did decide he\'d had enough.  "Don\'t you think it is time you gave up?"

Alec looked at him, ceasing to struggle for a moment. "No. I need a handicap or something against you." She said it with a smile trying to struggle again. She waited a moment and tugged on it suddenly succeeding to pull it to her stomach before it went back up in the air. She looked up at him. Her next move was to roll off the couch with the remote if she could. She tried to figure her chances off getting far enough to move before he caught her.

Tau was lulled into a false sense of security as he watched the remote being tugged back and forth between them, enjoying the quick movements and the amount of energy she seemed to be expending.  When she rolled suddenly and determinedly off the couch, however, he was unprepared and his eyes widened as he went with her (because of course he wasn\'t about to surrender his hold on the prize).

Their tumbling was awkward because Alec could only roll so far before her smooth exit was impeded by taking the greater bulk of Tau with her, and then his surprise saw them both jerking forward and tumbling onto the enormous, shaggy brown rug he had covering the hard linoleum floor of the lounge area.  He did his best not to fall on her - here, both of their excellent reflexes helped - and so he ended up tumbling over until he land on his back.

Because Alec wouldn\'t let go of the remote, his right arm was already wrapped around her, so he enclosed her more firmly with his left as they rolled.  When they finally came to a stop, she was lying atop him, her back to his front and his long limbs enclosing her in an embrace that was really just as snake-like as it was feline - it was an automatic thing to get her legs in a tight grip between his because his brother had never been shy about using any advantage in such a position and Tau was well aware of how painful a blow to the testicles could be.

"Now what?" he challenged the woman he held in a backward pin, completely oblivious to the television and the remote that they were fighting over.  She still had a hold on it... but that was about the only thing she did have now.

Alec wasn\'t that surprised when he came with the remote. She didn\'t expect him to lose his grip that easily. What did surprise her was the way they ended up. While rolling Alec was glad they both had good reflexes, she didn\'t want to end up getting squished by Tau nor did she want to end up being twisted with him in some odd position. When they stopped Alec realized that Tau held her and his legs were wrapped around hers. She blushed at that fact but laughed after he spoke. She laughed as she realized that she had the remote and was completely trapped. "Well," she started after her small fit of laughter, "I didn\'t expect this outcome." She raised her head slightly to take in how she was being held.

She lay against Tau now, sure that any struggles were either going to injure herself or pop out a joint, she lay her head on his chest where she was. Shifting did pop into her mind, but she didn\'t want the nakedness factor to happen when she shifted back. "Do you want to play something else? I don\'t think that remote-tag or whatever that was works for us." She looked up at him, now consciously aware of how close she was, and blushed. She tilted her head in question waiting for his reply.

As Alec looked at him, she pushed other thoughts out of her head. Thoughts that liked the way Tau held her close to him, the heat rolling off his body, the way he didn\'t wear a shirt, how she was against his bare chest, and the way his muscles moved when he was rolling with her or playing.

Tau chuckled, watching her attempt to look at him but mostly staring at the top of her head because of the way he was holding her to him.  Her words sounded like she was conceding... but she hadn\'t let go of the remote, so he was wary.  He released her legs only, putting his bare feet flat on the shaggy rug, knees bent either side of hers.  The angle of her body, freed from his influence, put more pressure on his groin than he\'d anticipated - or at least, made him far more aware of her being there than he\'d previously been.

It wasn\'t an unpleasant sensation, either.  Conversely, he found her light weight stretched along his body rather lovely.  It made his skin tingle with awareness - and not just because she was so cool against him.

"I like wrestling," he stated happily, and gave the remote an experimental tug.  Whether that was his offer of what they should do instead of fighting over the TV control or whether it was a summary that he\'d enjoyed their little tumble wasn\'t clear.  What was made apparent by the way he pulled at the plastic with one hand and loosened his grip with the other, was that if she surrendered the prize to him, she\'d be free to leave his arms and they could find another constructive pursuit.  If she didn\'t, it seemed he\'d continue their wrestling bout on the floor until he\'d won.  His body was still fairly poised, ready to go either way.

Alec was glad he let go of her legs, she did notice that now she rested on his crotch. She put her feet flat on the floor too, trying to relieve some of the pressure. She rolled against him trying to scoot up but with no success. He said he liked wrestling and pulled the remote. "We could wrestle," she stated playfully as she pulled it back. She hissed slightly under her breath playfully and pulled a little hardder. "I guess if you don\'t let me go I\'ll have to try and get away huh?" she squirmed against him, trying to get free, rolling her body against his like a snake.

Alec smirked as she got an idea. She tugged all her weight to one side, causing her and Tau to flip over. With this position Tau was over Alec and Alec was on the ground. Alec was on her stomach on the ground with the remote underneath her.

Because he still wasn\'t ready to let go of the controller, he rolled with her and found himself in a position that could only be described as stimulating; his arms pinned beneath her, her body lax beneath his.  His right leg had got between her two but it didn\'t give him good positioning to get him up.  He was positioned awkwardly and she was supporting most of his weight while he struggled to accommodate this new perspective.

With some inadvertent bumping and grinding - and he\'d become exceptionally aware of her as a female because of it, his instincts sending messages through his body that this was the mating position his feline self craved - Tau managed to get his legs either side of Alec\'s.  He levered himself off her a little, supporting himself on his knees (though he was stil tilted forward, his face just about pressed to the back of her head) and pondering giving up.

That was certainly not something he\'d ever considered before, but he\'d also never felt such ripples of interest when wrestling with his brother and his human side was well aware that such feelings were inappropriate so soon after meeting someone (he believed he\'d heard a great deal about a third date being a sex date, in fact, and knew that such a thing immediately after meeting someone wasn\'t the done thing).

"Uh... I don\'t think this is how you will get away," he told her gruffly, not needing to look down at their bodies to know how she\'d only made her imprisonment beneath him worse.  If there were any witnesses to this little game, they would certainly conclude that he was mounting her, not toying with her, in fact.  "Perhaps you should give up and give my remote back."
