It wasn\'t exactly the most difficult of tasks for the vampire to do: drain the life-blood of a sixteen-year-old virgin with beautiful, strawberry-blonde locks that he would have loved to pull, and then abandon him on a hard park bench in the middle of Pisky Memorial Park. To be precise, Nikolai got a sort of simple pleasure just from the thought, and it was true that he did feel almost bad about leaving his frail, frozen body there on the bench, so close to death. Almost.
It had been a while since he\'d tasted a virgin\'s blood and Nikolai found himself simply addicted to the taste. Or maybe it was the thought of devastating such innocence by himself. Either way he was washed away with a fresh current of invincibility. And he wanted more, more life, more sweet, pure, untainted virgin life. Judas smiled to himself, his green eyes full of human lights and his dead blood pulsing with a new type of energy.
No matter, he decided easily enough continuing on without so much as a glance back in Sage\'s general direction. The night was still genuinely young, probably just after ten, a virgin itself in Judas\' eyes. His hands plunged into his pockets as he followed a particularly windy path through the trees of the park. He had no more plans, nothing else set aside for tonight.
He was in no such mood to risk Risk again, not so soon. Judas screamed curses in the depths of his cage when Nikolai began to consider it an option. Interruptions, misfortunes, and indignities galore. His mind was too restless to sit alone and draw for too long, so the beaches and anywhere similar was off limits. He had sold off all his load and was waiting for another shipment of blow and crack, so pushing at the local arcade was out of the question. He had already fed and he found himself falling more deeply in love with the idea of devastating another\'s innocence. Maybe he would try to hunt up another virgin or two, seduce them, and take them violently. Yes, the idea made his body react quite appropriately in all the right places.
Judas purred contently in the stew of thoughts running through Nikolai\'s head, thoughts which would have made even the most promiscuous of vampires go red in the face. A faint smirk curled up the corners of his lips and his made-up green eyes stared absently at the ground beneath his feet, shielded by the unconventional blades of black and white hair. His pace slowed as the fantasy world consumed his senses. It was long before he noticed anyone else around, Judas fully contented with the malice of his being.
Once the reverie was broken, Nikolai glanced up quickly to find his whereabouts. He never hid the surprise he saw as his eyes landed upon the arrogant figure of a man named \'Adam\'.
