Derek Veregot (Necro)
« on: March 12, 2009, 08:20:49 AM »
Alias: Necro
Otherwise known as: The Dude With The Zombies, or (if you\'re his mother) That Failure Son Of Mine.  He prefers the first one.

Name:  Derek Veregot

Age [appearance]:  late teens, early twenties.
Age [actual]: 19
Gender: Male
Species: Mutant (Superpowers)

Appearance
Hair:  Black, shoulder length, unkept and greasy.
Eyes: Silver, however when he activates his power they turn green.
Skin: Pale, almost ghostly; like his eyes, his skin takes on a green hue after using his power.
Frame: 5\'7", 180 pounds, rather lanky.
Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: None

Clothing:  He wears a lot of black, chains, and capes. Not really one for theatrics, he wears no tights or mask, but settles for baggy pants and sunglasses.
Disguise for everyday life: His disguise is a nice suit. The dark fabric of his pants, jacket, and tie offset the bone white fabric of his dress shirt. His hair is still a mess, so he isn\'t that impressive as a business man, but it\'s better than his villaining outfit. He completes the outfit with mirror-shined black shoes and a black rose.
Costume: He wears a solid black trenchcoat, which flows like a cape. His pointed black sunglasses reflect what he\'s seeing, while concealing his eyes. He wears a black, sleeveless shirt, and a pair of baggy black jeans, with a chain belt. He accessorises with black tennis shoes, a black dog collar, and an expensive watch.

Personality:  He tries to act cold while he\'s actually rather immature. His ego is a bit over the top, but his pride is suppressed by a terrible fear of joining his undead minions. His personality is complex, as he doesn\'t quite know who he truly is. He can be giving a dynamic, calm speech one second, and explode with anger the next. He can sometimes be a bit comic, but he is rather crafty, and always has a plan for every letter of the alphabet.

History:  Born in a small family in the City of Gold, his father was the little known petty thief Vanito, who used a relic stolen from the burial site. The relic made him temporarily invisible, although his mother proved to be better at disappearing. After cleaning out the small bank account, she ran off with the chief of police. His father turned to drinking, and Vanito jr. took to theiving. When stealing a golden lizard from the burial site, Vanito dropped his father\'s talisman that made him invisible, and was caught. The desire to outrun the guards and archeoligists activated something in his genes, and the bones scattered around the burial site began to move around, attacking Derek\'s pursuers. He managed to escape, and after selling the golden lizard, got on a plane to Capitol City.

After a few years of practice, Necro was borne. His power was both frightening and freaky, and was accompanied with a seemingly endless fascination with cursed artifacts. His first attempt at a large scaled evil scheme involved the bones of an indian chief, who held the curse of all his dead people. He was foiled when a hero managed to dowse the bones in holy water, and Necro has since spent the last two years in prison. Now he\'s free, and ready to bring Capitol City to the ground.

Occupation/Job:  Full time villain
Financial Status:  Slightly better than average
Interesting Facts / Quirks:  Afraid of dying, can\'t stand the smell of rotting flesh, is addicted to nicotine and sushi. Has an over the top belief in Karma, and blames it everytime something goes wrong, superstitous.
Hobby/Hobbies: Collects old books and antiques, is actually a good chef.

Likes:  Winning, cheating, cash, free stuff
Dislikes:  Heroes, anyone in tights, bright colors, the stereotypical zombie who feasts on brains, as they actually prefer spleens.

Strength:  Necromancy, Necrokinesis, general use of cursed artifacts and black magic. Capable of bringing forth undead soldiers.
Weakness/Flaw:  His power is weaker during the day, Can only reanimate not resurrect (With the exception of cursed corpses) Easily grossed out

Anything Else To Add:  His schemes will be complex and involve ancient items and graveyards.
