Oceanview Heights Description
« on: May 13, 2009, 05:52:33 AM »
Oceanview Heights

Oceanview Heights is a classy, beachfront apartment complex that towers impressively over Glitter Beach.  Rent here is anything but cheap for these large luxury apartments intended for lower-upper class and up.  The most expensive apartments are on the higher-level floors and generally occupy half of, if not the entire floor.  Typically these apartments are for those with a higher income than the apartments located on lower floors.  Though the price does not increase dramatically from the lower levels to the higher levels, there is a change.

Most apartments have balconies with a stunning view of the beach, all have large windows in nearly every room.  The apartments are fully furnished, provided with virtually everything one could possibly need to live (save bath and bed linen and smaller household appliances).  Laundry rooms (coin-operated) are available on every floor for those who have no washer and dryer themselves, located at both the north and the south ends of the building.  For those who have no time to do their own laundry, a maid service is available for another added fee.

Exterior

At twenty stories tall, Oceanview Heights is a significant addition to the city skyline.  The building itself is well kept, walls of glass and marble reflect almost impossible cleanliness all year round.  The grass is never taller than three inches, always green and manicured to perfection.  There is space for parking on the east side of the building, away from the view of the beach.

The Ground Floor

After entering past a set of revolving doors, one may enter the ground floor.  While it isn't necessarily a lobby, since there is no front desk, the ground floor doesn't lack any of the welcoming atmospheres that a cozy hotel would.  There is a small sitting room with couches, a television, and a coffee table where guests can wait for residents to accompany them to their room.  Due to Oceanview Height's tight security, those without keys are not permitted access to the elevators or stairs, keeping theft to a minimal.

There are mailboxes available in a separate room for each apartment where letters can be received.  A small cafĂ© serves breakfast in the morning and light meals for lunch and has a small sitting area with tables and chairs.  Among other miscellaneous rooms on the ground floor, there are janitorial closets, trash rooms, and other such resources available for residential use.
