Name: Ren  [Japanese name meaning water lily.]
Age [appearance]: 22
Age [actual]: 317
Gender: Female
Species: water nymph

Hair: long ice blue hair with a few higlighted strands of a bit darker blue that she often wears in a bun with black and silver chopsticks
Eyes: teal
Frame: (include height and weight) 5\'6, 123 pounds, 34 D
Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: Ren has a pink water lily in the middle of her lower back. Silver swirls wrap around her left hip and down her left thigh with mini white water lillies on either side of the swirl. She has a dark blue lip ring with a silver chain connecting up to her right, aqua, hoop earing. In the corner of her left eye sits a dark purple water lily.

Personality: Ren has very strong emotions, but they can sometimes slip away easily filling her with a new feeling. She is very focused on love, but can be quite vain. Ren\'s as stubborn as the fierce water carving it\'s way through rocks.

History: Ren was born near the spring of immortality and beauty. Her mother had died during childbirth as her father, Storm raised her, when he could.
Storm was the Guardian of the the Spring of Immortality. He kept the ones away that were not authorized to drink. On the Eve of Ren\'s 13 birthday Storm was imobolized and taken from his post to be lost forever more.
Ren had taken the job, making her the youngest guardian of all time. She was promised that once she proved herself worthy she would be allowed to drink from the spring.
As she hit thirty-six the jealously of all the beautiful, powerful ones that walked from the spring ate at her. Had she not proven herself worthy, by being the youngest, most inexperienced guardian? She could feel herself getting older, slowing down, getting weaker. She could see the wrinkles start to spring from her face as she stared at her reflection. She felt she would be dead before she was allowed a drink.
Ren dove into the spring and drank heavily, allowing the water to skim along every curve.
Ren was chased away from the spring, never allowed to step foot near the sanctuary again, but it didn\'t bother her. She was beautiful and young. Not much else mattered.
During her time as a guardian she met many different species with whom she learned all they would teach her.
After she had left the spring, Ren went into hiding for a few months only coming out when necessary for food and other essentials. She stayed in caves along the countryside, traveling by night and sleeping by day, running as far away as possible. She did not know if they would follow her, but she wanted to be on the safe side.
In June as she was searching out a new cave to stop in she met a very old and very wise sorcerer, Lucas, who claimed he had maps to certain books forgotten by the Angels that had written them. "Angels are such blubbering fools." Lucas would always ramble on. "To think if a book were as old as they were that the maps would be forgotten, and the stories be left untold." Lucas would hobble around on his Cedar cane. "Blundering idiots; that\'s what they are." Ren desperatley needed a friend and to do something other than fleeing, so she accepted his invitation. After a century of searching and following the maps, twisting them in different directions, the old man died, but left her with two enchantments on her vial: to be hidden from humans\' eyes and to be touched only be her will. Placing the maps in her satchel Ren carried on to the next town, tears spilling from her eyes. "All dead ends and a dead companion...Should immortality be this harsh?" At least she still had her looks. That was bound to optimize her chances at a great life.
Ren continued to search for the books, hoping that once she found them she would learn the knowledge of the ages. She met many supernaturals as she traveled. Some would join with her, but most would ultimately leave or die. The pain of her losses screamed through her, but it would be no time to stop. She would continue on until she found what she was looking for; stopping only for a time to drink in the festivities of a normal life.
Resting from her travels she was drawn to the city rumoured to be heavily populated with supernaturals, in hopes on finding new leads on the forgotten books or knowledge that any would share with her.

Awareness of Supernaturals: (specific) Ren knows of the supernatural from what she has learned from the ones that had jorneyed to the spring, ones she has met on her travels, and from what she has read in books. Through her long years she has learned to tell the differences between humans and supernaturals. She can not tell what species someone is, although once discovered she can use the information she has gained to aid her.

Occupation/Job: Exotic dancer

Interesting Facts / Quirks: loves easily, but quickly moves on to love something new unless she is truly in love. She wears a vial of water from the spring around her neck, that would allow two others to drink from it. A friend had cleverly disguised the water to appear as blood to humans to fit in with the new style. It has also been enchanted so that no one can touch it unless she wills it.
Hobby/Hobbies: She loves to socialize and be admired for her beauty, but normally she just flows to something new. Anything to keep her going.

Likes: Water Lillies, knowledge, power, shopping, socializing, drinking, mischief, fights
Dislikes: other nymphs, any woman that can compare to her beauty, idiots

Strength: summon water and ice, empathy
Weakness/Flaw: She cannot control her empathy well, so she can be overwhelmed by others\' emotions especially if they lust for her. attracted to beautiful and powerful men mostly, vanity and pride
