All Brianna could think of how the hell she was going to get through all this reading material that the municipal library contained. Literally she wanted to pull her hair out at this point, when she had requested everything on Freyja she didn’t know that she would knee deep in Non-Fiction. Not to mention the digital archives that she had not even begun, she had been here since the sun went down knowing that she would be here all night. This meant she would have to put her feeding off until much later; she was not pleased in the slightest as she scorned her curiosity about the new being that threatened the city. Curiosity killed the cat or in this case the vampire, amusement now lifted her spirits a little as she pictured how she would die. Not amusing to some but to her it was for she couldn’t be killed by disease or the ravages of time.

Bloody hell stop daydreaming already, snapping her eyes back to the book rather than the ceiling where her gaze had drifted for a moment. Most had somewhat useful information for those that worshipped the goddess such as her sacred date was Friday the 13th, her metal was gold or that adopting and feeding stray cats would bring favor from the goddess. Again useless information for her because she wasn’t looking to worship the goddess, she had her own gods and goddess that she worshipped. She was looking for a way to banish it or better yet kill it. A few spells she found that would work in her favor maybe but they didn’t looking promising in the slightest.  But she found nothing yet on any sort of weapon, talisman or even an amulet and she would find it; if not now then later for she was determined.

Letting a pity sigh out she didn’t realize how loud it really was, luckily when she looked around she saw there was no on about. All she could see through the windows was darkness and the twinkling of the stars, how she loved the night but some days she missed the sun’s natural warmth on her skin. One of the luxuries taken away when you become a vampire as well as food oh how she loved food as a mortal, but then again she couldn’t have become what she became today. Loved and respected among most but never did she want to be labeled as feared. Which posed the questioned was it better to be feared or loved, she choose loved. Yet some said feared I guess it depended on the person and who you asked she relayed in her mind.

Once again she turned to her book, setting it down in disappointment before picking up another and opening it. It was some time later that she heard the door open but she didn’t look up at the moment not really caring who it was that just entered. She was too absorbed in the new book as she read that Freyja was the daughter of Njord and Herta both of the sea and earth and even when arriving in Asgard she taught the Aesir how to craft charms and potions. She even inducted Odin into the world of majick, more bad news and she let a frustrated sigh to which could be somewhat heard. She pushed on as sentence by sentence she began to think that nothing could kill the goddess. Although she wasn’t giving up even if she had to go out of the city to find the information.
