Hair: Naturally, Tansy’s hair is white, but she dyes it all colors of the rainbow. It falls in a rainbow of thick, luxurious curls to her hips. Tansy is VERY proud of her hair, and considers it her best feature.
Eyes: Bright blue, though she often wears bright green contacts. Her eyes are usually ringed in bright colorful makeup, which often incorporates glitter. Her eyebrows are dyed pink.
Frame: 5’6” 108 lbs. Average height, with a thin frame. Slimmer in the hips than in the chest, but not freakishly.
Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: A red Oligarchy tattoo on the left side of her neck.
Personality: Tansy is one of those people who always has a thousand projects going at once. She has the attention span of a gnat, but a great brain for multitasking. She is a lively, sprightly type, but also tends towards flightiness.
History: Tansy’s parents were both air nymphs.
As a child, her family was constantly moving because – though both her parents were hippies – her extended family didn’t share their views. Tansy’s extended family is a cloistered, secretive, backwards lot who believe in racial purity, and practice inbreeding extensively.
Tansy’s parents are cousins once-removed. Their marriage was arranged, but they managed to fall in love anyway, and snuck away from the family’s Appalachian compound just before they were to be married. They have been on the run –and hiding their true nature – ever since.
Tansy lead a very sheltered life out of necessity; her parents dyed her hair and homeschooled her when she was young, and it wasn’t until she was middle-school age that she realized it wasn’t normal for people to be able to manipulate the environment as she could. When she confronted her parents about this, they calmly explained that they’d been hiding her supernatural nature from her until she was old enough to keep the secret herself.
And she kept it well, until after highschool – when she moved out to find her own way, and found herself in the City.
She still worries that her family will come for her.
Awareness of Supernaturals: Knows about most species of supernatural, since she works at the Oligarchy, but she can’t identify any of them by sight unless they reveal themselves.
