Once Adam backed off on the young woman, Digital started to investigate the hole in the roof. He was mildly aware of what was being said in the room, enough to know that there was a very long silence after his group was offered beers. It seemed offering alcohol was the appropriate social response for crashing through hotel room ceilings. He must remember that for any future occurrences, should anyone ever fall through his roof.
"I don't drink beer," he said, and was stunned when one of his voices whispered a truth in his head about his past. "But I used to!" he said with glee, pleased for any hint about what his previous life had been before he'd been embraced into the dark masquerade. "Adam will accept a beer," he spoke for his mortal companion, looking over at him. "And so will Vivianne."
He didn't explain how he knew her name, he merely did. Alcohol would ply both of them towards a little calmness.
