Jake saw the passed out human girl. He'd wanted her awake so that he could teach her to use her disciplines. However, her attack had come swiftly and the girl was incapacitated as he'd requested. The girl's memory would need to be altered. That much was clear. She had seen too much and even if it was all a fog, there were clear images still in her mind. They needed to go.

"Not bad," Jake said sweetly. "A bit sloppy, but you'll get there." He patted her on the shoulder and winked.

"Now when you feed listen to the sound of her heart. It will beat like a drum. When you feel it slowing down stop. Also, bite but resist the urge to tear. It makes healing her harder. Also don't suck too hard or you'll kill her."

Jake took a step back. "Feed daughter," he commanded. He would watch and intervene if needed. Otherwise he would speak to her again when she removed her fangs.

She didn’t expect her attack to be perfect; she took his compliment with a smile. She felt proud that she had been able to please Jake just a little. Even though she didn’t get to use presence she knew there would be plenty of time for that tonight. The moon hadn’t even moved in the night sky, she actually at the moment didn’t want the night to end just yet. There was so much that she wanted to learn from Jake, she had to make up for lost time.

Sam intently listened to Jake as he explained what she would be watching for and even how to suck blood properly once she had her fangs in her neck.  When she was told to feed she looked at the girl still in her arms, she was nervous. She keeled on her right leg, propping up the girl’s dead weight body till her back was resting against her left leg that was now raised. It would be easier to feed with her sitting upright she assumed.Sam turned the girls head to get a clear view of her neck; she took her two fingers and felt for the pulse. It was strong and her urge to bite seemed to increase, she refused to lose control.

She slowly lowered herself onto the girl, she felt the warm flesh on the bottom of her teeth. She bit down slowly letting her fangs pierce the flesh not tear, it was a strange feeling. Hot blood gushed into her mouth; she took small sips of blood. Fresh blood seemed more filling than the bags or bottles of blood, she enjoyed the taste. She realized what it reminded her of, it was spicy at first but after it turned sweet once it ran down her throat.

She only drank about half a pint; she was just too overly cautious of the situation. She had pulled back, copying Jake as she pricked her own thumb on her finger, smearing the holes with blood only to watch in amazement as to how quickly it healed.  Then she had a weird feeling wash over Sam. It had to do with the night of her turning, this girl in her arms, the smearing of the blood, watching it heal. She decided to not acknowledge the feeling that had arose, not now after they were getting along so well.

She quickly turned her attention to Jake, "How much can I safely take at one time?" It seemed like a good question to ask as she was unsure herself.

As Jake was about to answer, his phone beeped. This was not his ordinary sidekick that he used for his friends and family. It was his Iphone, his work phone. His initial reaction was to ignore it. After all, it was hi night off, and Sam and he needed this bonding. However, his feeling of duty often trumped other impulses, and he tentatively looked at the phone. The message was from Kerr. He was being called in and only had an hour to get there. Kerr was back, and there was news of some sort. As much as Jake hated to leave Sam he knew he had to go.

"Sam I have to go to the Oligarchy, "Jake said in response to her question. "The instruction came fro Kerr himself."

Jake knew that Sam would not argue an order from the Luminary. He went to both human and did unconscious domination and wiped both their memories.

"I bet you'll want to learn how to do that," Jake said to his progeny. "And one day I'll teach you."

Without waiting for a response Jake hugged Sam.  "Go home until I call you. This could be serious."

He waited for a response before leaving.

Sam had heard his phone beeping and her heart sank a little, she had hoped that Jake could just put work off for one night; just for the two of them. She knew he had responsibilities as she had responsibilities to her own work place but she chosen family over work for the next few days. Although she also knew that his duties was far more shoulder bearing than her own, so when she had heard that it came directly from Kerr she didn't bother to argue. She wanted to say something, but her mouth remained tight lipped and she only gave him a slight nod.

She watched as he went to both humans, wiping their last memories and a curious look was all over Sam's face. She so desperately wanted to learn Dominate but was unable to get any farther due to her not having Jake around. All of the sudden she was being hugged by Jake, she was shocked that he would even give her a hug. She almost didn't have time to hug him back, even though it was a light hug. She nodded her head that she would go home and in a flash of speed Jake was gone. She was left all alone and proceeded to exit the park leaving the two humans alone and on the ground.

She had a warm feeling in her whole body, if it hadn't been for Jake's work calling him she would say this night had gone very well for the two of them. Suddenly she didn't want to go home and she thought of Risk, she would be safe their with the Mimic Demons being around as they always had her back. Besides it was open Mic night and Levinia would definately be there tonight. She stopped a taxi and gave him the address for Risk, she would text Jake later since he was busy at the moment. Pisky Park slowly faded from view and she set her eyes on the wonderful club she liked to call home.
