She smiled and nodded, knowing exactly what he meant by his brain shutting off in her presence, because hers did much the same in his.  So it was mutual lust, then, and her blush remained, pinking her skin and making her feel hot and flustered.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow slightly at her mute response. He’d at least been expecting some sort of opinion on his apology, something other than a nod and that gorgeous way her cheeks turned red when her heart was pounding.

He lowered his head to kiss the corner of her lips then moved his mouth to her throat, kissing and tasting and feeling her pulse so easily from here. Given her permission to do what he wanted Sebastian let his tongue venture across her skin.

“I want you,” Sebastian murmured huskily, before dropping his face to bury against her shoulder, breathing in the scent of the leather to try to stop himself from smelling her before lifting his head against to meet her gaze.

“Have you been drunk from before?” he asked softly. If she had it would only have been Kerr, so bringing it up might be unwise, but God, he wanted to taste, and if she was going to ask him not to it would surely only be if she hadn’t experienced it before and didn’t know how amazing it could be. Unless Kerr had done an appalling job of it.

Kerr had not done an appalling job of it, and so Jenna knew exactly what the effect of Sebastian's drinking would have.  She'd been quite frantic, in a way, when she'd been bitten.  It was like a drug, she felt, because she likened it to all those descriptions of 'experiencing a high' - something she hadn't experienced chemically or herbally, for herself.  The bite was more than enough, and she knew of the sexual nature of it.  She wondered, if she let him bite her here, if it would lead to more.  She thought it was very likely, for she lost almost all her inhibitions when someone was taking from her that way.  It made no sense, that a vampire feeding could be so erotic, so she'd chalked it up as simply another supernatural power they had.

"I have," she admitted, and as much as she was excited at the idea of Sebastian doing the same, as much as she was yearning to feel him biting her, she knew that right now was the only time she would be able to properly refuse and to keep them in check.  "It's a bit open out here, don't you think?" she gasped, his movements at her neck and shoulder eliciting quite the reaction from her, tingling all over her body and especially between her legs.

Hmn, it hadn't sounded like a refusal at all.  It sounded like something he could talk her into, in fact.  Did she want that, for herself?  Did she want to be an exhibitionist?  The idea of someone seeing them horrified her... and it made her heart pound heartily in her chest at the mere thought of it.  She couldn't go any redder than she already was, or be any more excited.  Still, she was surprised even at her own words.  She'd given him an opportunity to stop, but she'd also implied that she might be willing for more here and now.  She didn't really know how she felt about that, but it sure was an adrenalin rush.

“Mmm, maybe, but there’s not exactly anyone about,” Sebastian murmured, dropping his lips to caress her amazingly soft throat again. He could hardly remember the last time he had craved someone so much, but she was a prize he would be willing to delay receiving if needs be. Of course, no matter how long you had been on this earth and no matter how patient you could be… now was always better.

His hand slipped down from his lower back to cup her behind, pulling her a little closer into his stomach, his body tingling with anticipation as his teeth scraped over her skin, his tongue aching to taste her.

She moaned at his actions, wriggling against him as he continued with a dismissal of her words.  There wasn't anyone about, but this wasn't her style at all.

So why did she shift her weight in order to straddle him?  Why was she kissing him like this, as though they were in the privacy of her own bedroom?  Why was she now lowering her head to his shoulder to give him access to her neck, biting him through his clothing.

Another person had taken over her body, it seemed like, and even though her thoughts were still under her control, she didn't want to follow her own rules, rise to her own standards.  She wanted to let loose and be wild and Sebastian was exactly the right person to do it with - because there was something about him, every time she looked at him, that made her want to pounce.

Sebastian shifted his hands to allow Jenna to move in his lap, settling one on her thigh and the other on her behind as straddled him. His right hand lifted to cup her cheek as she tilted her head and he took in a sharp breath as she bit his through his shirt before he had the chance to taste her himself.

“You…” he murmured, but nothing more came as he let his mouth drop to her throat once again now she was in a more comfortable position. He kissed tenderly, intermingled with a few nibbles, but always worshipping her skin, readying her for the bite which eventually came.

And God, when it came, she was so delicious, unlike anyone he had ever tasted – her blood felt like it had been heated by more than just her own body. It was like she had been baked and then presented to him, a cake fresh from the oven. It was only a shallow bite, as Seb didn’t need to drink often anymore and he had only desired a taste.

When he began nuzzling her neck and preparing her for what was to come next, she tensed and took his shirt collar into her mouth, to stop herself from biting down on him harder than she had initially, which had been playful (but still firmer than he likely would've expected, especially judging by his reaction, which she'd liked).  When his fangs pierced her skin, she grunted the pain and her fingers clenched where she held him.  She'd specially not moved her fingers into his hair, for fear she would yank his head back by it instinctively.  Now, as a dreamy and passionate haze stole over her and made her no longer care where she was, her hand crept up and worked its way into the strands of his dark and silky hair, massaging his scalp even as she sighed and moved against him in a rhythm that was undeniably sexual.  It didn't matter that he took little - the effect was just as strong as if he'd bitten deep.

It was over sooner than she expected, however, and she came back to herself to find herself holding him tightly, his shirt collar with her smeared red lipstick on it.  At least he didn't have a jealous wife to go home to, otherwise he'd have some explaining to do.  Giggling at her almost-drunken thoughts, she pulled back to look at him and couldn't help but allow her fingers to stray over the spot where he'd bitten her.  It was smooth and clean; healed efficiently.

With her fingers in his hair, her mouth at his neck (teeth now on his collar instead of his throat) and her hips moving so enticingly, Seb almost didn’t want to stop. He could see himself becoming more obviously aroused very quickly and fortunately had learnt enough self-control in his years to be able to stop himself drinking and bite his lip to smear the blood over the marks in her throat, his blood healing her swiftly and flawlessly. He was definitely getting there though and thought that if she pressed her hips down more firmly she would be able to feel the beginnings of his arousal.

Seb lifted his hand to rub a thumb over his lip as though cleaning away a smear of blood – although he hadn’t spilled a drop – as he watched her feeling her skin, smiling at the sound of her giggle.

“You taste exquisite,” he said, smiling as he pressed a kiss to her cheek, breathing her scent and savouring the heat of her body pressed against hers. He wanted to kiss her more deeply, but with them both obviously already worked up it might just make things tricky.

“I think I should take you home,” he murmured huskily, his dark blue eyes burning with desire which should leave Jenna with no doubts that he had no intention of leaving her there alone.

Getting home would likely include catching a cab, considering how far they'd walked.  She would have time to calm down while sitting in the back of the vehicle.  She would have time to think about her decision to go home with Sebastian in tow, instead of going their separate ways.  She would have time to reconsider.  She'd always been proud of her claim to only sleeping with men she loved.  It was a standard she'd imposed upon herself.  But was it ridiculous to keep imposing it when she very badly wanted to indulge herself with Sebastian?  He was the embodiment of her most physical fantasies but in sleeping with him she would be using him, in a way.

She lowered her head, pressing her forehead to his.

"I think you shouldn't," she replied, resenting her own decision.  "We can barely talk to one another without disagreement.  Should we really be starting something?"

She was conflicted.  She wanted him to argue with her, and she didn't.  She wanted him to give them permission to do whatever they wanted to, because they were adults, and she didn't.  There was a plethora of activities she didn't want to do, because it wouldn't be healthy.  She didn't smoke, she didn't drink to excess, she didn't use drugs unless medically prescribed, she didn't eat junk food (or the especially greasy kind) and she didn't have casual sex.

None of the others had ever appealed to her, except now she was staring the latter in the face, and she wanted to.  Oh, how she wanted to!

“Who said anything about talking?” Seb said with a smile, knowing very well that he might be very firmly rebuffed by Jenna, but he would kick himself later if he didn’t at least try. He lifted his hand to cup her cheek, kissing her softly. She was thinking about it too much – he hadn’t drunk much so he could bite her again, but she’d been letting go before the bite, he just needed to get that out of her again.

“We both want this, there’s nothing wrong with letting go,” he said, tilting his head to brush his lips across her throat, his tongue tickling over her skin.

“I’ll let you bite me again,” he added in a teasing tone, lifting his head with a grin to lightly touch the tip of his nose to hers.

She breathed soft laughter while her mind raced.  Was she being ridiculous?  Were her standards absurdly high?  Why wasn't she doing what she wanted to do?

"I want to kiss you," she said, and it was easy to lift her chin and capture his mouth with hers.  What resulted was quite passionate, and reminded her of how he'd made her feel just moments before.  When the kiss broke, she made an affirmative noise and spoke again.  "I want to take you home with me."

Yes, she would take him home with her, she would take him to her bedroom, and she would take him as her lover.

Sebastian met her lips hungrily, deepening it and thoroughly enjoying her reactions. He gave a laugh at her final decision to take him home and he caught her lips again, squeezing her tightly. Without breaking away he stood up, supporting her slim body easily in his arms with a hand  on her ass and another around her waist to keep her steady. She might be more comfortable wrapping her legs around his waist, but he would let her position herself however was most comfortable to her.

“It would be fastest for me to run you home, but I presume you would prefer a taxi?” Seb said with a playful grin, swaying her gently from side to side. “Oh, don’t forget your boots,” he added, tilting Jenna’s body backwards with a smirk, holding her securely the whole time as he put her within reach of her boots and once she’d grabbed them he would lift her upright again. “I suppose I could actually let you put them on…” he added thoughtfully. He would set her down on the bench if she gave an indication she wanted to put them on, otherwise he was more than happy to hold her close, breathing in her scent and soaking up her warmth.

She clung to him more tightly when he tipped her back, and a tiny sound escaped her lips of surprise.

"Yes," she replied to his question, and clarified which ones she meant.  "I'll put my boots on, and we'll take a taxi," she said, while wondering idly what it would've felt like to have been 'run' home.  Like riding a very fast horse, she expected.  Backwards.

They caught a cab and went back to Jenna's apartment.
