Helio's Apartment - Number 1403
« on: August 28, 2012, 09:57:07 AM »
Helio has purchased a two bedroom deluxe apartment at the Templar, because he doesn't have a need for a bigger space and this is more manageable, even though it is still spacious and luxurious.

FLOORPLAN

He has made a few changes - he has no dining table.  The room that is designed as a potential spare third bedroom has a built-in desk in it, plus some shelving filled with DVD cases and a tiny space for books.  The main bedroom at the end of the short corridor to the right has an ensuite no longer with a toilet and bidet, as he has paid for them to be pulled out, as well as the toilet on the other side of the wall (which is now just a washroom for the converted office rather than a toileting room).  The only toilets in the apartment are now the one in the ensuite attached to the smaller bedroom, and the one to the right of the front door.  He will more often than not entertain mortals in the second bedroom, rather than letting them into his own.

In spite of his not having anywhere to sit and dine (other than on the couch and coffee table, rather than standing at the kitchen bench and eating), Helio does have sets of cutlery, bowls, plates and tumblers, for four.  He has a set of four wine glasses and beer steins as well, and one very old bottle of beer in the fridge, alongside a plastic baggie of animal blood - his emergency supply.  He replaces it every two or three days, buying it from the butcher up the road.

The apartment itself is very neutral in colour, decorated in creams and light tans.  The floor is a polished light-blonde wood.  The furniture is mostly white leather or a medium-blonde timber.  The bedrooms are much the same.  The only thing that breaks up the monotonous monotone are massive, vivid abstract paintings that take up entire walls.  It's enough colour in the room to give it personality, without being overwhelming.  However, it still looks more like a designer home for a magazine than a place for someone to live in.  Helio doesn't do a lot of living in it.
