Born into a humble farming family in Armenia and the eldest of eight children, Anatoli was sixteen when he was sighted by a slave trader and stolen from his home.  Taken by force to a port city in Turkey, he was sold and taken to Italy, where he was purchased to work the farmland of a very rich Roman by the name of Tiberius Aurelius Corvinus.
