History:
Ian was born in the fall of 1985 to a human father and shifter mother. They lived quietly in the Midwest, his father working at a nuclear power plant while his mother stayed at home with him, and a few years later, his little sister too. They both inherited the ability to squeeze and stretch into places and positions they had no right to, and their mother spent an inordinate amount of time putting out fires and making excuses for their shenanigans when they were caught.
Ian, when the time came, went to an out of state college to get his master's in video journalism. His sister followed suit, but she went to a rival school and he has sworn never to speak to her. Except every other Sunday, which is a truce day.
Once he finished with school, he interned with the city's news station, keeping tabs on and repairing the equipment he would eventually come to use when they hired him on full-time. He's established a reputation for producing pieces that can sell a story, but wants to make waves in his field.
In the meantime, he blogs, and has acquired a decent following.
