SANCTUARY
EXTERIOR
A small cottage-style house is tucked in between large, brick buildings of 16th century design. The house looks cute and whimsical, with a hedged fence but an open space where a gate would normally sit. A path leads to two wooden steps up onto the white painted verandah.
INTERIOR
High ceilings allow for artificial vines to hang across the exposed beams. Ivy decorates the supporting beams. Tables and chairs are grouped in places that allow for walking space, but because of the nature of the building, they appear haphazard. From the front door, the counter is at the opposite wall, and a door to the kitchens is behind that.
To the left of the front door are a few tables and chairs, but beyond them is another doorway which takes them to a narrow corridor. This corridor has tables and chairs there as well - comfier for two. At the end of the corridor the space opens up into a back verandah, where some more tables and chairs are gathered, and then into the back garden proper, where shady umbrellas protect coffee drinkers from the sun, though there is very little of it even in the daytime, because of the tall buildings either side of the house-turned-cafe, and the tall trees that battle the buildings for the sky.
