Jake put the book down on a nearby table and crossed the small distance to Ben. He wrapped their bodies together again and kissed him. Kissing Ben was his new favorite pastime, and he hoped their were many more in his future. His taste, smell and touch all made Jake hunger; for blood, for sex, for more conversations about history, art, and anything else they could get up to. Yes, Ben would be his child. He was sure of it. He would wait. He needed Ben to be ready, and he dared not betray that he'd already deemed him worthy. Perhaps they'd even love each other one day.

As he pulled away from the kiss, if only to look at Ben's pretty face, he saw the book cabinet was still open, and let Ben go to lock it up. He grabbed the Book Of Nod carefully and placed it in it's proper spot, then shut the doors and locked them. They could open it again later if Ben wanted to look.

"Can I show you my favorite thing about this apartment," he asked, extending his hand for Ben to take, a huge smile plastered on his face. He eyes the spiral staircase, the roof deck and view his chosen relocation. It was more intimate than the main room, but not quite as intimate as the bedroom. If they wanted to make love, a bed was up there for the using, encased in a tiny greenhouse. Jake liked to fuck under the stars some nights.

Lucky. He was incredibly lucky, he thought as he kissed Jake back, wending his arms around him. He'd worried that he would have to bounce from vampire to vampire at Risk until he found a suitable sire - anyone willing to give him a chance, really - but he'd scored the top prize on the first go.

He was breathless and flushed when Jake pulled away, and could only smile at him, licking his lips to remember the taste even before it was completely gone.

"Show me," Ben said, eagerly following Jake wherever he led. Ben was completely on hook.

Jake lead Ben to the staircase and led him up to the roof. It was an iron metal, suspended from the ceiling and bolted into the floor. He opened the hatch and pulled himself through, extending a hand to pull Ben up. The sky was beautiful that night. A light breeze blew by and Jake looked out onto the purples, reds, and blues that made up the horizon. Stars were more visible than in the metropolis, but it was really the shinning city that made this view gorgeous. He wrapped his arm around Ben's shoulder and led him to the roof's edge, and plopped a sit right on the ledge. He wondered if Ben would be scared to be twenty stories up. He almost hoped he was. He wanted to protect him.

"I like a good view," he said, looking at Ben's pretty face as he said it. "I do miss seeing sunrises though. Oh yeah. You'll miss some human stuff eventually. I would love to know what Starbucks is all about."

It was a lighthearted statement for what Jake felt was a lighthearted moment.

Ben, not a daredevil, sat down a little further back from the edge and made himself scoot the last little bit to sit beside Jake. His heartbeat was racing out of fear now, rather than attraction. He did his best to look across and not down, but he was feeling a bit lightheaded about it. If Jake hadn't done it first, he wouldn't even have attempted it. Still, he was obviously uncomfortable.

At the mention of Starbucks, Ben screwed up his nose. "Overpriced, not so great," he said, and decided to keep his eyes on Jake even though the view was spectacular. He was finding it harder to talk - his mouth dry. "I'll probably miss the heat of the sun on my face. Nothing a few sunlamps can't fix," he joked, though it wouldn't be the same and he knew it. "Maybe play some VR games. Graphics are getting better."

Jake reached out to touch Ben's hand, and for the first time let him feel his aura. A peaceful feeling radiated from him, inviting Ben to relax, that everything was okay. He followed it up by looking at him, pointing to the view with his eyes. Video games was something he was experimenting with, and secretly hoped Ben would help him connect more with this generation of mortals. Jake still felt like a kid at heart, and believed staying modern was the only real way to survive. History was meant to be studied, not echoed.

"Show me that kind of stuff," he asked, looking at Ben like for the first time he might be able to teach Jake something. He wondered if Ben liked to teach.

Ben was awash with the sensation, calmed and relaxed by Jake's auspex. He tipped towards Jake, resting his head on the vampire's shoulder and looked out at the city. He knew something had been done to him, he'd felt it steal over him like dipping into a warm bath, and he was once again awestruck by Jake's ability.

"Sure," he agreed. "You have to buy yourself a console first. I don't own anything like that."

He would've offered to buy one for Jake, except he didn't have enough money.

Jake found this more cuddly Ben even better, and liked the human's head now resting on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around him and looked at the sky, now just enjoying Ben's physical presence.

"Well go shopping sometime soon. You can help me pick one."

And I'll stealth buy you as much as I can.

He looked and saw the bed, sitting in the enclosed greenhouse. He wondered if they could lay on it together and watch the stars until Jake had to go inside. Ben could see the sunrise if he wanted to, or come down and sleep with Jake in his bed. He hoped this had just become a sleep over. He wouldn't suggest going to the bed just yet. This was nice. This would do for now.

"Sounds good," Ben agreed.

After a long moment of staring out at the city, Ben lifted his head to stare at Jake. He studied the vampire's profile; the line of his brow, the angle of his nose, the curve of his lips and the shape of his jaw. His staring caused Jake to look his way and Ben closed in for more kissing, the soft, seeking kind, while his hand lifting to stroke the opposite side of Jake's face.

It felt romantic, being here and kissing over the edge of death. It was the perfect metaphor for what they were headed towards, because Jake would take his mortal life and give him a new one as a vampire.

He hoped.

Jake felt it was romantic too, and decided to go down that road a step further. He pulled them back from the ledge and with an energy as young as Ben's led them to the greenhouse and opened it. The ceiling was one sheet of thin but strong glass, and it gave the two people lying on the bed underneath it a beautiful view of the stars. The actual room had some plants in it, and it would feel hot compared to the outside. Jake left the door open to air it out and guided Ben to the bed, kissing him and running his hands all along his body as he did.

Once they were laying down together, he broke the kiss long enough to say, "Can we take our clothes off this time?"

He asked it in a way that was gentler than last time, funnier too. He was serious though. He wanted to have sex with Ben, not because he was horny - even though he was - but because he had feelings for Ben, and knew having sex right now would only make them stronger. He also wouldn't mind a meal, and wanted to introduce Ben to feeding during sex. Based on how he reacted last time, he was sure it would be a welcome combination.

Ben entered the glass room, surprised by the heat and humidity. The sun had warmed up the glass through the day and only now was it starting to cool. It felt tropical and added to his romantic fantasy (that seemed to be coming true). Ben responded to Jake's touch with sighs and murmurs of appreciation whilst also returning the favour - putting his hands wherever he could reach.

While laying on the bed, the question made him smile but he was a little embarrassed by it. "Yeah," he said, the word breathy and hopeful. He was vaguely aware that the bed's existence signalled that Jake was a player and that he took any number of mortals up here to dazzle them with the view of the city and the night sky. Even so, he chose to trust this man, this vampire, with his heart, his body and his life. If he was being played, then so be it.

To signal that he was all in, he started working on the buttons of Jake's shirt.

Jake let himself be unwrapped and starting doing the same to Ben, going for his pants instead. They took their time getting nude, kissing, groping and teasing each other each step of the way. Once they were fully nude, Jake held their bodies together, and felt Ben's warmth  fully. He was sweating a bit from the heat, and Jake liked the salty taste of his skin. Their erections were touching, twitching, getting to know one another. Jake liked just lying here, kissing, cuddling, teasing, and was in no rush to penetrate Ben. They would get there, and perhaps he felt guilt that he had used this exact bit to get laid multiple times. He wanted it to be different with Ben though. He wanted Ben to feel special.

He reached a hand down and grabbed his rod, squeezing lightly, and watching Ben's face for every tiny reaction. He would then start to stroke. They would go well beyond this, but he wanted to show Ben his pleasure was just as important. His mouth went to the same place he'd bit before and kissed and licked it, hinting at what he might like. If Ben wasn't already, Jake would grab a free hand and place it on his own rod. They could pleasure each other like this, until Jake needed more from him. Jake would moan as Ben stroked him, his voice always deeper when he was having sex.

Ben didn't need the bite for his passion to rise to the surface, for he'd left all his inhibitions at Jake's door. Still, he liked it enough to want it. He touched Jake eagerly, mirroring his movements as well as progressing what he thought Jake might like. As soon as Jake was naked, Ben's hand touched and stroked him, gripping a little firmer or looser to discover what his lover-to-be might like better. With Jake's hand guiding his as to the rhythm he wanted, Ben complied while also thrusting with Jake's hand upon him, keeping time.

"More," he pleaded between kisses, because it wasn't enough. "Want... all of you," he panted, and wondered if Jake had lube anywhere. Surely with a bed up here he would have something stashed away, ready for its use.

There was something thrilling and naughty about doing what they were up here, where anybody looking out of the windows from the tall buildings near them could see. With no lights around them, he hoped nobody would be able to see too much, but it was an extra layer of eroticism to think he might be putting on a show. Normally painfully shy, he wanted the world to know that he was with Jake now.

Ben didn't need to ask twice. Jake pulled away and reached in between the box spring and mattress. A bottle of lube appeared and Jake moved Ben to lie on his back, propping a pillow under his bum for easier entry. He let the lube trickle between his fingers, never taking his eyes off Ben's face. Once his fingers were slippery he began to place them near Ben's hole, slowly inserting and stretching him open. His other hand was lubing up his dick, getting himself ready to enter Ben. Eventually he had two digits inside his lover, and searched until he found what he knew was Ben's prostate, the subtle differences in texture giving it away. Now he was putting pressure there, and Ben's body shuddered in response. After a few moments, he slipped his fingers out and slid himself into the mortal.

Ben felt amazing, warm, and tight, and Jake spent his first few moments just letting Ben get used to him being inside. However, he couldn't wait long and began to thrust. His tempo went from slow to steady pretty quick, but he didn't take it to as hard as could do. He would wait for that. He would let Ben decide if he wanted to stroke while he penetrated him. He leaned down, and threw his legs up and back. This position allowed him to get a better angle and kiss Ben while they were having sex. Jake felt himself starting to get close, but wasn't ready to stop.

He moved to Ben's neck and bit, sucking fresh blood as he increased his pace finally to a merciless one. The drumbeat of Ben's heart pounded strongly and Jake could feel him about to finish. He was so turned on by how the bite took Ben to the brink that he felt himself finish too, right inside of the boy, still sucking on his neck as he did. He felt Ben's release on his abdomen, and couldn't believe they'd mutually finished. Jake was still good to go for a few more rounds, but he wasn't sure how much Ben could take, especially a little drained. He sealed the wound and pulled back, but didn't leave the inside of Ben. He looked at him smiling.

"Hi," he said, with a shit eating grin, the kind men who'd just finished often wore. He wanted to just stare at Ben for a moment, look at how sexy he looked, satisfied in starlight.

Ben's hand was trapped between them for he'd been stroking himself until Jake lowered to kiss and bite. After that he'd not lasted long at all and Jake would see that his eyes were more starry than the night sky above them. He was still floating, liking the feel of Jake still inside him, hoping he would stay until he melted away rather than pulling out and leaving Ben feeling that kind-of-empty feeling.

"Hey," he replied, sounding a bit drunk and then he laughed a little at himself and also because they'd done what they'd done. With his free hand he rubbed Jake's side and back, all he could reach, and then lifted his head a little to try and get Jake to kiss him some more. If Jake just looked at him, he'd make his plea. "Kiss me?" he begged softly, wanting to float on this moment for a little while longer, knowing it would fade too quickly.

Jake did hold back as Ben tried to kiss him, not because he didn't want to, but because he wanted to hear him ask for it. When he did, he zoomed in and connected their lips, not losing his hard on despite already having orgasmed. How could he? Ben was perfect, and Jake didn't want this moment to end either. If not for sunrise, they might've laid in this position the rest of the night. He kissed Ben's neck and whispered something into his ear. His voice was breathy and serene, calm and loving.

"I'm glad you wanted us to wait. This was so much better than if we'd done this at Risk. Thank you sexy."

He went back to kissing him, only stopping if Ben made him. He was almost ready for another round and lightly moved his pelvis back and forth to show Ben he was still pretty virile.
