The kiss went on until Jake broke it to speak. Ben beamed with pleasure at his praise. Right now all he wanted was more of the same. Their time here was indulgent and hot and he didn't want it to end. He'd thought it would though, that Jake would roll off him and they would cuddle for a while until they were ready to go again. But Jake proved he was a stallion when he started pumping lightly.

Ben rescued his hand from between them, aware of the sensation of his semen between them (not unpleasant) and the smell of their sex filling the glasshouse. It wasn't too heady, thanks to the door being open, but it only energised him for more.

"You're insatiable," Ben said, grinning, then he grew serious, looking between Jake's lips and his eyes. He wanted something different now. "Fuck me 'til I can't walk," he demanded, raking short fingernails up Jake's back.

Jake took Ben's request of him seriously and nodded, some of the happy go lucky energy going. Jake felt a little nervous about Ben's request, because as a vampire he knew he could do it, and he knew he could do it in a way that Ben wouldn't realize his discomfort well after they were done. He began to pound, not going to Ben's intended speed and power right away. He liked seeing Ben beg for it. Jake's face suddenly showed that despite his youthful shell this was  a man. Only when he could tell Ben wanted that heavy pace so bad he might die would he finally reward him, fucking him as hard as could with it still feeling good, holding his hands against the mattress, a hard slapping sound filling the space. Jake growled with pleasure and couldn't help but be even more aroused by how submissive and greedy Ben was sexually. He wanted more and more and Jake wanted to give it. No wonder Ben kept this part of himself under wraps. Men would destroy him if he didn't.

Jake wouldn't destroy him though, at least he told himself that now, but he found something sadistically pleasing about taking Ben to his limit, pushing him slightly over the edge, testing how much he could take. This change in Jake's energy would be felt through his aura, and Ben would get a glimpse of the sides of Jake he hadn't seen yet. He would orgasm again but that didn't stop him. He kept going and going, and would wait till he started to get soft or Ben asked him to stop. He wanted to give Ben as much abuse as he wanted and could take.

Ben had played with fire with his demand, and he knew it. He had little experience with lovers, having only had three longterm and one fling. None of them, not even the fling, had dared to hurt him in bed, thinking his requests were made because they sounded hot, or even if they did do it harder, they still held back.

This time, there was no holding back, as far as he could tell. Because Jake eased into it, Ben could go on the journey with him. Eventually, the pounding was so severe that he couldn't stop tears leaking out because of the pain. It hurt but it was good and did that make him twisted? Did he like being punished?

He stared at Jake throughout, absorbed by him, fascinated at the changes in his face. At first he looked like his new lover, but then he had an intense look steal over him, and now he was unrecognisable; a beast shoving himself into Ben's body at a pace he couldn't even begin to match, using it, abusing it, and Ben couldn't breathe but it was still fucking savage and hot and suddenly he felt too raw and his threshhold was reached.

"Stop, stop," Ben gasped.

Jake put on the breaks, seeing Ben's tears and hearing his words. Even in agreeing to stop, Jake felt in control, the savage him wanting to hurt Ben just a little more. The Jake that cared for Ben as a person came back though, and he eased himself out, moving to cuddle Ben, and make him feel cared for. He didn't regret going there with him, but he didn't want to scare him away either. He wanted to hold him, show him the tender side again. He knew he should say something but didn't know what, and therefore just let time go by. Eventually, he kissed Ben's chest, and moved his head to look at his eyes.

"That was really hot," he informed, looking to see if Ben agreed or not. "You're the hottest guy I've ever been with you know. Two hundred and seventy years to sample, and you are by for the top."

He couldn't be sure that was true, and in reality it probably wasn't, but when Jake liked someone he really liked them, and so as he said it he thought it was accurate. He wanted Ben to feel safe, feel his value. The more secure and cared for Ben felt, the more likely he'd let Jake go back to that place again, a place he thought they both liked, but also feared.

He realised the risk he'd taken only after Jake was wrapping his arms around him after adhering to Ben's plea. He could've kept going if he'd wanted, could've just finished and then apologised, and Ben knew he'd probably forgive him. It was quite a test of self-control, he imagined. He brushed his tears away self-consciously, not wanting Jake to think he'd been crying.

Jake's words astonished him. He thought he'd be called a freak. Obviously Jake hadn't had anyone that let him get freaky, then. "Thank you," he said, then after a moment's thought. "Thank you for... for doing it. For stopping when I wanted."

There was a dull, raw kind of ache in him. He wasn't going to try and walk just yet either - he was pretty sure Jake had been literal in Ben's request. It had been an amazing experience. He wondered if there would be bruises down there. It certainly felt like there could be some. And even so, he liked the ache. It was a constant reminder of where he and Jake had connected. When it faded away, they'd have to do it again.

He pressed himself into Jake's hold, nuzzling and relaxed and worn out.

Jake woke from day sleep, and wondered if Ben was over yet. He'd given him keys and security access a few days ago, and was hoping to get used to waking and finding Ben either hard or at work, or relaxing in the apartment. He'd likely be hard at work, as Jake had experienced his early faith in Ben to not have been wasted. They'd been seeing each other for a month now, and he was starting to forget life and thoughts where Ben wasn't at least a factor. In that time, Jake had let Ben read the old English Book of Nod, as well as tomes on the history of the clans, all the different disciplines out there, as well as the differences between the clans of Cain and non clan vampires. Ben had seemed to absorb it all and then ask for more, a fitting way to look at Ben in general.

Jake had just bought a former dive bar, and planned to give it an Alice and Wonderland punk makeover. Jake had originally had political ambitions but after  meeting the Luminary he'd decided he'd rather focus his energy on his other ambitions, his new bar, his hobbies, and of course Ben. He had a surprise for him tonight. He was going to make him a proper ghoul, or pet as this city called it. He'd gotten permission earlier that week, but kept it a secret so that he could surprise his new love.

It was a bit soon to ghoul him, his original plan being at the six month mark, but Ben had blown away Jake's expectations and he didn't want to wait for Ben to feel him through the blood bond. It would take this relationship to the next level, and he didn't think Ben would say no. He got dressed quickly and moved into the living room, hoping to see Ben waiting there.

Ben had invited himself over in the early afternoon. It was habit for him now to sleep until noon, have lunch (breakfast) and then go to Jake's place. He had enough saved to move into his own place but had held off only because he was waiting for Jake to invite him to live here with him. Ben had planned to crawl into bed with Jake when the day gave way to evening, as he sometimes did, but he was so focussed on his task that the time came and went without him noticing.

Ben's fingers flew over the keyboard as he formatted his report. He enjoyed this work, and his typing skills had improved a great deal. He was sitting the floor in front of the sofa with legs stretched out under the coffee table and the laptop above. He'd edited any typos out of the weekly report and was getting it ready to email when Jake found him.

As soon as Jake entered the room, Ben looked his way and smiled. "Hey, you. One sec." Ben attached the report to an email and sent it off, hearing it whoosh before he closed the laptop lid. He awkwardly extracted himself out from under the table, thinking it had been a whole lot easier sliding into position then trying to climb his way out.

Jake was happy to see Ben already hard at work. He understood that eternity needed to be built. Jake found all of Ben's awkward movements endearing and long stopped suppressing the grins they gave him. His choreography to get up would rank high in Jake's memory and it made the kiss they shared all the better. Jake played with Ben's hair a bit as they smooched, and ended up resting a hand on his check.

"I want to take you somewhere special tonight. You done with work?"

Jake had tried to tell Ben to stop doing projects but found Ben functioned better when he wasn't distracted thinking about work. Jake had dressed casually so Ben might wonder what was special that required such casual dress. Jake gave Ben a look that Ben would have learnt by now meant, I'm not telling you a thing.

He couldn't wait to see Ben's reaction when he told him the news. It was kind of like proposing in a way. After this night, they would be connected in a whole new way, and Jake may have hide the news, but not his excitement about it.

"Yes," Ben answered immediately. He had a guess as to what Jake might be telling him but didn't want to ruin the surprise for himself either. He tried to squash his smile but it refused to be suppressed. He gave up and let it take over his face.

Jake would let Ben change if he wanted to. He honestly didn't care what he wore. They had much bigger fish to fry. Once Ben was ready, he'd have him drive the pair to the east side of town, only giving him the directions but not the location. As they got closer, Ben would hear the sounds of merry laughter, and music and the town's carnival. Jake informed Ben this wasn't the big surprise, but that he wanted to take him on a fun date before dropping the bomb. Jake was having fun taking Ben out on fun dates, their bonding being split between the hard working side, the bedroom side, and then this side; the boyfriend's side. Were they boyfriends? They hadn't used that word, but Jake was being monogamous and was sure Ben was as well, or at least pretty sure.

Tonight would make all that clear. Once Ben bonded to him, he would be his in the eyes of the Oligarchy, and in his eyes too. Jake bought them two tickets with rides included and brought Ben into the park. Jake liked folk carnivals like this. They were odd portals into the supernatural that often went deeper than just vampire culture, and Jake was clear to point out the nymphs, demons, and witches mixed in with the carnies. It wasn't too packed tonight, a slight cold snap deterring away all but the most determined seekers of fun.

"Rides or games," he asked, the final destination being the Ferris Wheel. He eyes it excitedly, but didn't want to rush Ben there until they'd had a nice date.

"Not big on the games," Ben said, preparing himself for some ribbing about it. "I like rides," he continued. "I certainly like riding you," he added cheekily, then stuck out his tongue.

He was intrigued about where this night was heading. It was a strange place to take him, to a carnival. He'd expected maybe a beachside stroll or some other scenic location where they could look at the moon or whatever and have a quiet moment for Jake to share his news. This was good, though Jake wouldn't be able to taste the sickly sweetness of fairy floss (which Ben hated with a passion), or the greasy chips and ketchup (which he loved), or the incredible smell of over-buttered popcorn. Of course Jake could smell these things, but it probably didn't affect him the way it did Ben.

"So where are you taking me?"

"First, roller coaster, then Ferris Wheel," Jake informed. He wouldn't stretch this out too much. He could tell Ben was excited for whatever Jake's surprise was, and Ben was smart enough that Jake had a sneaking suspicion he knew what tonight was all about. He would move to the line for the coaster, a light use of his Presence discipline convincing the others Ben and Jake should really get to go first. Once on, the creaky, old wooden roller coaster climbed the first hill. Jake took Ben's hand right as they got to the top, the moonlight bathing them in silver. In the distance a wolf could be heard howling.

They plunged, and Jake honestly had fun on the ride. Roller coasters weren't something he had growing up, but he found he liked the thrill, controlled danger, and unexpected turns of some of the better ones. Ben would see the more child-like Jake that seemed to come out at times; silly, fun and not nearly as assertive or dominant as Jake in other environments. Once the finished, Jake bought the stupid picture, whether or not he had plans to put it somewhere wouldn't be clear. Once they were done with the coaster, as promised, he took them to the Ferris Wheel. Jake had Ben hang back while he spoke to the ride operator, and a flash of green was exchanged.

Once inside the little sphere made of glass, they began their assent into the night sky. Right as they reached the very tip top, the wheel stopped.

"We are experiencing some minor technical difficulties and will be moving shortly. Thank you for your patience!"

The loud speaker announcement was a cover of course. The wheel had stopped because Jake paid for it to stop. Now totally alone, and due to the lights of the wheel going off, completely unseen Jake slipped an arm around Ben.

"I told him I was proposing," he said to Ben. "In some ways I am. I'd like to  move ahead of schedule and... I want you to drink from me." He waited for Ben to respond.

Ben had been studying, so he knew exactly what it meant to drink Jake's blood. He knew it was a commitment, that it would bind him. It would be a gesture of trust, that Jake wouldn't string him along and never sire him... that he accepted Jake's promise that they would one day be equals (of a kind, for Jake would always be his sire and mentor). The true question was, did he trust Jake and want to be with him?

"I would love to," he said. Since meeting Jake at Risk, his life had taking a sharp left turn into a fantasy. Was it healthy for him to be floating through life feeling pretty happy about it? It seemed strange to constantly be in a state of bliss. Unnatural. But here it was. And what a cool place for his life to take another (albeit gentler) turn. At the top of a ferris wheel, on top of the world.

Jake smiled devilishly, and now relieved the kinky part of their evening.  He and Ben had a habit for semi-public sex, starting with having sex on his roof. While they wouldn't be fucking up here, they were about to do something dirty. Jake planned to let Ben feed right up here in the middle of the skyline. He went up a mortal and would come down something more than that. He hoped Ben would be into the idea, the dirty little secret Jake wanted to share.

He pulled Ben into kiss him, and as he did brought his wrist up to look like he was framing Ben's face. Using his own fang, he pierced his veins and guided Ben's head to suck. They couldn't spill a drop, and Jake had planned this out to the minute. He was slightly ahead of schedule, and it would be great if Ben had all he needed and the wound licked before they came down. He found Ben sucking eagerly, and Jake could feel the subtle changes starting inside his new pet. After what Jake imagined was a pint or two, Jake moved back into share bloody kisses, as he licked his wrist and cleaned up Ben's face with his tongue.

The lights came on to reveal two boys kissing at the top of a Ferris Wheel, not a drop of blood in sight. They started to come down, and Jake finally pulled back to look at Ben.

"How do you feel," he asked, knowing it had to be the best he'd ever felt in his life. He had Jake inside him now in a way that went much deeper than penetration.

The lights had been dazzling when they came on. Everything seemed to come into better focus; sharper, cleaner. The carnival was loud, too. It was like his ears had popped and he hadn't realised they'd been stifled. He could hear his own breathing below it all, an undercurrent of pace and flow. He felt strong, more alive than before. There was an energy thrumming in him that he hadn't had before, like he could run for miles.

It was strange--this was what he imagined being sired would be like, but it wasn't that. He'd taken Jake's blood but not enough to change his species, just enough to give him a boost. And a boost was very much what it felt like.

He grinned at Jake and wrapped his arms around him again, kissing him passionately even as they were wound down to the bottom of the wheel. When he pulled back, he saw flecks of colour in Jake's eyes that he hadn't noticed before.

To answer Jake's question: "Horny." He really needed to release some steam. He felt pent-up and dying for release, and even though it wasn't necessarily sexual, it could quickly turn into that, with Jake at his side and lots of dark corners and nooks to steal away in.

When they stepped out of the ferris wheel's booth, the line of people waiting burst into applause and whistling. At first Ben was surprised and overwhelmed by the noise of the clapping, but then he remembered that Jake had told the ride operator he was proposing. Obviously the news had spread.

He turned around and planted another passionate kiss on Jake's lips, hugging him close. A few people made whoop noises, others called out congratulations, yet another voice yelled something filthy that they could get up and then laughter.
