ALTERNATE: No Risk No Reward

Lazarus didn’t immediately grab the blonde youth to him, wanting to see what his reaction would be to the ex boyfriend performing a sexual task on another right in front of him. Lazarus pulled Jake off him by the hair and looked from one to the other. “It’s too cramped in here. You’re coming with me back to my place. It isn’t far from here.”

He looked challengingly at Jake. If there was any opposition, it would come from this one.

Jake couldn't help but feel weak in the ancient's presence and he looked at Ben with a degree of awkwardness and shame. Ben had always seen Jake as the most powerful and important vampire in the room, and he was being made into a pile of puddy on the ground. He stood slowly, and made sure to avoid looking directly at Ben. The challenging look made him even more uneasy. Considering what had just been going on, he didn't feel like he had the power of a challenge. Did he even want to challenge? He knew he needed to reply.

"Okay," he said, turning to grab Ben's hand and move him out of the strange back area. He'd follow Lazarus to his apartment, and hoped Ben was okay with this and wanted it.

Lazarus purred his delight and followed the two pretty things out of the club, but then led the way down the street.

Ben, when his hand was taken, squeezed lightly. He was glad that Jake was willing to be entertained by him, if only for a night and just as a tag along. It would be different tonight... He'd noticed that Jake had wanted the attention from Lazarus rather than let Ben have it. He interpreted that as a display of power; that Jake was more worthy or able to please. He wasn’t going to begrudge Jake that.

He was feeling lightheaded after the drink, though neither of them had drunk from him too deeply. He supposed that might change with whatever sex was going to happen at Lazarus' place. He would go along with it, not be so troublesome, be more agreeable and willing to please. Maybe Jake would extend his time with Ben a bit longer, after the threesome, maybe they could have something physical if no longer meaningful.

Jake grumbled at being refused. It had only been partially to protect Ben, the other part being horny greed. Still, he liked that Ben advocated for things to go there eventually, and smiled at the mortal's nod and shrug. Whatever was going to happen after this encounter, Jake felt like some distance was closing between the two of them, and it was with that spirit that he guided Ben to the bed, and laid him on his back.

Lazarus considered it, then gestured for Jake to continue.

“You go ahead, love. Show me what you like to do with him. I’ll watch for a couple of minutes,” Lazarus declared grandly, letting Jake know how long he was allowed to have Ben for.

Jake didn't need any more permission than that. He turned to face Ben, and with more joy than he should've been feeling, slid inside. It was odd to think of the inside of Ben as a familiar place, but it truly felt that way. Lazarus glared at the other vampire, not liking the suggestion because it sounded like a pause to their fun. He didn't want to delay anything. He couldn't tell if the mortal was getting a little too drowsy though - it wouldn't be fun fucking a ragdoll - so he closed off the wounds and picked Ben up by the waist, lifting him up and off his cock and then shoving him to the side. He watched the blonde land on his side on the bed, but he was obviously conscious enough to roll onto his back and look around at what was going on. "Your turn again, love, and we'll do it the way you suggested," Lazarus said, reaching for the bedside drawer where there was a bottle of lube handy. Ben had walked away without a word. Did he deserve to miss Jake? Ben closed his eyes with relief when the response entered his head. For a long moment he'd thought Jake wouldn't reply the same way - that he'd ruined everything, even the memory of what they'd had together. Thankfully, Jake still had good thoughts about it, enough to let Ben know that he didn't regret being with him.

When he opened his eyes next, Jake was seeking out Lazarus for kissing, and he felt oddly betrayed because it had come on the heels of those words. The message was clear in the action. Jake missed him, but he wasn't interested in more than this moment with him.

Jake got his wish; Lazarus liked the fact the vampire wanted to kiss him, not the mortal who'd cooed about how much he'd missed his ex. Vampires were equals, mortals were playthings, and their pets and playthings should miss and love and plead and sacrifice their comfort in order to pleasure their gods.

Lazarus got an arm around Jake's torso and locked him in place as they kissed; he was buried to the hilt inside of him, the way they were both kneeling up meant the sex had stopped, if only for an instant, but they were all inside one another.
