The Black Sheep

Once Trey was dealt with, Lisa-Joe Hampton worked her way downstairs and was directed to Nikolai's holding cell. She had a punishment to dole out, and she wanted some information first. The last time she'd seen this prick was at Sticks and Stakes and he'd correctly pegged her as an Oligarchy spy for Jake. He had obvious skills and connections, so how did he end up breaking the one law all supernaturals knew to follow? She entered the door to find him tied up in a thick pair of chains. He look conscious, but his nose was still smashed to bits. She guessed he was so beat up still because of his age and that he hadn't been able to feed. She approached and sat in a provided chair for her. A bottle of nail polish came out and she began to work on her next coat as she questioned him.

"What's your name and what the fuck did you think you were doing in my bar," she said, not overly aggressive but far from friendly.

Whatever high he had managed to pluck from the Little Boy pressed against the wall in the bathroom upstairs had fleeted quickly after his arrest. The commotion of trying to fight off the bouncers and then consequently getting his nose broken, left Judas a bit more sober than he wanted. At first he had raged in the cell, pulling on the cuffs like an animal, convinced beyond a doubt that they wouldn't hold him. Again and again he tried, as loudly as he could, but no luck. It was almost as if the cuffs were designed to hold something much stronger than a vampire.

The use of his muscles in such a way burned off his bump faster than he wanted. Now, as Lisa-fucking-Joe sat painting her nails in front of him, he was - more or less - calm, sitting on the bench provided.

"What kind of biker bar doesn't have a little bit of powder snorting in the bathroom?" He snorted painfully at his own quip, the drugs dulling his pain. His eyelids were getting heavy now and he shifted until his back was against one of the walls, his leg extended on the bench.

"My biker bar," she answered, not missing a beat, and giving him a disapproving look.

Granted, Nikolai was right to say that biker bars were often coke dens, and she had to fight to keep that element out of the White Rabbit. It was bad for business. The strippers would get into it, and that would make them sloppy, working for drugs and potentially bringing the Rabbit to the attention of mortal law enforcement. The Anarchs had some high up, Captain Kiss, on the payroll, but that didn't mean some beat cop wouldn't be a moron and call in a coke scene. Lastly, vampires didn't need drugs to control humans. They had powers for that.

"And if you don't give me your name next I'll cut your dick off."

She wasn't serious, but she did love to see men squirm at the threat.

Judas didn't blink at the threat - he received worse ones on a nightly basis. "Gimme a cigarette first and I'll consider it." His head lolled back and forth as he looked at the far wall. He found himself to be pretty funny. A closed-lip smile covered his face, crinkling the skin at the corners of his eyes. Judas closed his eyes just for the moment - they were getting so heavy.

This guy was bold or stupid, probably stupid. She didn't get up from her nail painting, and didn't react right away, taking her time. When she was ready she got up and lit a cigarette, and took a drag, walking over to Nikolai. She took a pull and blew a perfect smoke ring, surrounding the top of Nikolai's head in a halo. She then grabbed his face and put it near his cheek. He would feel the heat, and she got close to his ear, whispering like a lover.

"If you tell me your name, I'll put in your mouth. You don't, and I'll stick it in your check."

She was not going to be dictated to, least of all by this guy.

Judas was jolted out of his stupor by the sheer force of her hand on his face. A haphazard wave of panic grew in him and Judas growled at the bitch grabbing his face. The heroin prevented him from feeling - and understanding - the heat from the cigarette, but he had been burned by enough cigarettes to know that that's what would happen if this cunt didn't get an answer she liked. Judas pulled on the chains that held him, but got nowhere with it. She was way too close to him and he needed her to back the fuck off now, the feeling of her cold cheek on his unwelcome.

He debated with himself, thinking of many of the names he always gave his human followers. Travis. Nick. Gabriel. That one was his favorite. "David Paden," Judas growled lowly, expecting her grip on his face to loosen and to be released immediately.

So it could answer basic questions. The name sounded fake, but it's not like she could call him on it. She put the cigarette in his mouth as promised, and backed away from him. He had no hands to pull it out of his mouth so she hoped he could talk and smoke at the same time. She returned to her seat, and resumed paining her nails. Most looked good, but a few on her left hand weren't even yet.

"David Paden, for breaking the masquerade and violating the sanctity of an Elysium you are banished from the Central and West Districts for six months. You are banned from the White Rabbit for life, and your first punishment was your whooping from me. If you break the terms of your banishment I can promise your face will have that burn I just threatened you with. Any questions?"

She didn't even look at him as she spoke. She didn't need to.

He hadn't realized how much he wanted a cigarette until it was shoved into his mouth - sex and feeding often did that. Now that his face was released from her clutches, he took a deep drag and exhaled it through his nostrils slowly, savoring the feeling. Of course he could smoke and talk.

Judas feared no punishment from her. So he had fucked and drugged a willing party in the bathroom? That was just a normal Thursday night. The younger vampire smiled, cigarette bobbing on his lips as he said, "The only thing that I violated in that bar, Lisa-Joe Hampton, was that boy's throat."

Well that did it. Trey was so sweet, and this asshole had hurt him badly. His poor throat had been in such pain. He'd even mentioned it to her. She wouldn't charge him with rape as Trey seemed mostly okay, and hadn't been acting like a victim. There was more than one way to take advantage of someone and the drugs seemed to be Trey's weakness. She would get him straight, no pun intended.

David would not be so lucky. She moved back towards him in a flash, dropping the bottle of nail polish on the ground. Her fists began to tear off the chains and pound into him. Ribs, arms, and his color bone were all broken from Potence fulled punches, and his skull was bashed repeatedly against the concrete wall. She left his legs alone, as he'd need to walk back to whatever nest he called home. She looked over the bloody pile of flesh that had once been David. She wondered if he'd try and have a witty comeback for that one. He probably would, but for his sake she wouldn't be in the room for it. "Make it a year banishment for that little ditty," she instructed before leaving the cell.

She felt better beating him within an inch of his immortal life. He'd recover though. She'd forgotten to burn him with the cigarette. Well, he seemed dumb enough to break the rules of his banishment. She hoped so anyway. Manuel entered the cell and picked up the broken husk and took him to the service door, tossing him into the back alley.

Trey had started walking up the street before he realised he was heading to his friend's place who would probably not welcome him back again tonight. It was far too late and he'd probably be sent away, so he headed back and ducked up the side alley of the White Rabbit, heading east. When the back door banged shut around the corner, Trey jumped but didn't head down there. He looked, though, and saw a battered homeless guy on the ground. Funny, he was dressed just like Hot Guy had been. Trey's feet slowed as a mental connection started turning slowly in his brain.

He was missing something. There was a vital clue that he hadn't picked up on, and he really hated missing out on making simple connections. It made him feel stupid and worthless. He knew that the homeless guy had the answer, but fucked if he could figure out why.

"Hey," he croaked, then took a few steps towards the guy as he got to his feet. Huh, he had the same hairstyle as Hot Guy too. Trey couldn't see his face, though, and he wondered if this guy would look like Hot Guy as well... did people who look the same also dress the same?

Something shifted in his mind again. There! No, wait. Almost... and then it clicked into place. "You're my Hot Guy," he said to the other, because they hadn't given each other names. "Did you get beat up? Come home with me, it isn't far." Trey closed the distance between them.

The cocktail of drugs in his blood prevented him from feeling a good portion of his beating, but Judas held no illusions as to the amount of damage that had been done. His left eye was swollen shut completely, the puffiness bloating with partially metabolized human blood. Judas was fairly sure his jaw was dislocated and definitely sure some of his teeth were loose. His ribs throbbed dully as he lay on his back in the disgusting alleyway. He was a mess and he knew it. Thankfully for him, there was no one else there. Judas closed his eyes and groaned, his back near the base of his neck aching.

He wasn't sure how much time had passed as he lay there, but he knew the sun would be coming for him soon and he wasn't in the mood to fight her. With a significant amount of difficulty, Judas rose to his feet, clinging drunkenly to the wall for support. He heard footsteps nearby and ignored them, hoping that they would continue on past him for the evening - he had had enough fun. A sensation prickled in the back of his mind and he knew that the stranger would approach. Judas was too tired, in too much pain to wrestle some human to the ground and drain him.

"Hey." Judas heard and rolled his eyes before even setting his eyes on the stranger. When recognition came, Judas almost laughed at their little predicament. He slumped farther against the wall, unable to deal with the strangeness of how this night was turning out. Too exhausted to fight that stupid nickname or break Trey's neck (although he doubted Lisa-Joe would like it very much if he did that right outside her bar, the cunt) for asking the most obvious questions he could, Judas sighed at the Boy.

Without asking permission, Judas threw one of his arms around the Boy's neck and put some of his weight on him. "Kid, I'm not going back to your house. If I promise to be nice to you, would you want to come home with me?"

Trey supported Hot Guy when the demand was made from him via placement. He moved closer, pressing his hips against his Hot Guy to help take his weight as they moved. He wondered who'd beaten him up after Lisa had her go. Who rolled an already beaten guy, seriously? Anything worth taking would've been taken by the first person who attacked him. Even Trey knew that much. You don't target someone who's just been attacked. There are no pickings left.

"I'd like to be treated nice," he said almost shyly. "Throat hurts a bit. It was fucking hot in the bathroom though, a total pornstar fantasy. You're, like, sexy and dangerous and stuff."

He wanted to say more, but his hurting throat put an invisible gag on him.

"So where's your place?" Trey asked as the pair of them shuffled out of the alley.

Trey liked to chat, but he figured once he got Hot Guy home, they could snort some more of his powder a few hours later to numb the pain Hot Guy was feeling. Lisa had given him a talking to, but she hadn't searched him, and that was an A plus. Trey intended on sharing Hot Guy's baggie with him until it was done. It might take a couple of days, but Hot Guy wouldn't be in the mood to party hard, regardless. It'd take the edge off for him, though.

He was looking forward to finding out where Hot Guy lived, too.
