A low rumble of laughter emerged from Mitchelleto's lips, his chest rising and falling with the sweet knowledge someone was challenging Jake, rubbing his chin in pleasure, pacing the room and leaving Nikolia his precious space. Ben running instead of Kerr was a bit of a surprise to Mitch and even if Ben had Kerr's support it wasn't the same as Kerr running himself. Perhaps Ben could be used to his advantage in the long run, however, he would be well known in the city. Besides Bens own connections apart from Kerr could be beyond what Mitch could see right now. The only one that really knew Mitch were the cunt Saltigue and the stupid brat, the cunt was worse than the brat. Maria knew his past far better than anyone else, but that was it, it was the far past. He had no one to place him within the recent past and that could help trick Ben in the long run, and far as Nikolai's information showed Ben wouldn't know about Mitch.
Saraekiel was also another option and easier to approach than Ben, he was new to the game and he wouldn't have any prior knowledge of Mitch. It would be easy to string up some sort of a story, after all, it came to him as breathing does to a mortal. Mitch still had his doubts about Zoheret, for one he hated dealing with woman, and two would her distaste for Jake reach that far? It was an interesting thought but that was the last resort was going to Zoheret, he would go to Saraekiel before that womanly winged pigeon, maybe play the two against each other? That was a more satisfying thought, subconsciously pulling out smoke and lighting it, the fire reflecting in his eyes before he snapped the zippo shut. Lightly puffing on smoke almost like a cigar at first, taking in a deep drag and a large exhale of smoke escaped his lips and nose.
"You and I will be making a trip into the city once I hear from Zeus," that meeting would determine his next step.
He wouldn't admit it outright but Nikolia knew the city better than Mitch right now, rubbing the back of his neck in annoyance, eyeing up Nikolia once again like a piece of meat.
