ALTERNATE: Lilly

For Saiketsu

One black stiletto followed the other out of Gio’s electric blue Mustang and made their way to the front of The Colosseum Nightclub.  Gio himself hurried after her, making sure he had properly double-parked to ward of anyone who might’ve dared to park too close.  She thought it was a bit unnecessary--the car wasn’t even that nice--and continued at her same quick pace without looking back at him.  Not even when he muttered some curses and called after her.

Tonight Sonya decided on a simple pair black skinny jeans, a black tank with a swooping neckline, and her blood-red leather jacket that matched her perfectly manicured nails.  Her hair was down, lightly tousled, and her makeup smokey and subtle.

By the time Gio caught up to her, she was just inside the club.

“Sonya, what the fuck?”  he was slightly out of breath, face red.  She turned to him and raised her eyebrows, glancing him up and down as if it was the first time she had bothered to look at him that evening.  It was not.  Just hours before he had been tied to the posts of his king-sized bed, tears streaming down his face.

“Buy me a drink.”  she turned away from him and headed toward the dance floor, heels clicking against the floor.

“Fucking cunt,” Gio muttered, making his way to the bar to order her…fuck, what did she drink?  He sighed irritably, eyes searching the club.  But she had already melted into the crowd and he’d have to follow her there to find her.  Without the drink.  And she would not be happy.

Jockey's mirror sat on the table in front of him, set with four lines of coke. He leaned down over the table and pressed the dollar bill to his nose, inhaling until that line was clear. A spark, like lightning, crackled between his eyes, deep in the sockets. He reclined back to the padding of the VIP both and waited for his nose, throat, and lips to numb. His green eyes watered and Nikolai Armani pinched off both nostrils to ward off a nosebleed. With his other hand, he passed the mirror to the left, sniffling as he did so.

Blossoming. Warm. Tingling. Filling. Lifting. Smiling. Nikolai groaned as the wave of pleasure, of happiness pressed into him like a lover. A beautiful lover, naked and willing. Ready to get fucked crazy. His favorite.

He opened his eyes and the club was almost too bright, flashing in his eyes as bodies ground together mere feet from him. Crop tops. Wife beaters. Tanned skin, glowing in the summer heat. He wanted to taste someone. He pulled out a cigarette from the pack on the table. Earthy in his mouth, tangy, astringent. Jockey flicked the lighter open, as if he knew, and Nikolai leaned forward to light it, puffing until smoke billowed from his mouth. Blue grey, glowing under the ultraviolet lights nearby. Toxic.

Nikolai watched in fascination as plebeians milled about. Laughing, spilling drinks, dancing. Flashes of flesh and debauchery. He watched, a stiffy growing beneath the table, reminding him to taste. His heart matched the pace of the music, heavy and fast, breathtaking. He followed beautiful figures with his eyes as Jockey, Vincent, and Cole argued about what liquor to find, which waitress would suck dic.k the best and why. Nikolai had no interest in such things. His eyes had just landed upon a beautiful piece of meat that no one else would appreciate.

Something in him growled in pleasure and his gaze didn't leave her as she made her way closer, out onto the floor. Jacket, pumps, and skin-tight pants. She dressed for no one but herself. He liked that. Nikolai took another drag from his cigarette, dilated green eyes fixating on the way her hips moved as she walked.

Sonya walked straight through the writhing crowded dance floor, thrumming of the base echoing up into her throat, falling in time with her footsteps.  She headed straight to the back corner to establish a table space, keeping her eyes straight ahead to her destination.  Gio would take longer than she would have preferred, but the poor thing was doing his best.  Even if he lacked the decorum.

He would be punished for that later, if he hadn't bored her to death tonight.

When Sonya reached her table she retrieved a pack of clove cigarettes from the inside pocket of her blood red jacket, removed one, and set the pack down on the table before lighting the clove between her lips.  Turning to face the center dance floor again, she leaned against the table as she smoked, watching.  It was in Gio's best interest to return to her before she finished.  His lack of punctuality was rather disappointing.

Gio had taken the long (safer) way through the club and to the back.  He carefully balanced a bright pink filled martini glass and his usual gin on the rocks with a twist of lime.  He seemed pretty confidant until Sonya turned her head toward him, expression unamused.  Her eyes flickered from the martini to his face, and she took a last drag from her clove cigarette before crushing it into the ashtray.  He was about to ask her something when he finally reached their table, but she took the glass of gin from his hand and sipped, leaving a kiss of red lipstick on the rim.  She watched him with a challenge in her eyes, watching the fight enter his face and leave at her warning expression.

"Be a dear and watch my drink."  Sonya set the glass down gently and shrugged off her jacket, handing it off to Gio before heading back toward the dance floor.  He watched her go, face red with straining against containing the angry outburst that reflexively bubbled up from within him.  It was good that he was learning restraint.  She gave him no other option, really.

Sonya would dance for one song, return to her drink and perhaps pay Gio some mind if he behaved.  He was the jealous type and wouldn't take kindly to her pressing herself against others.  Oh well.

The topic of conversation had changed, but he was no longer paying attention; the prey in the jacket that had caught his eye before was stripping herself of layers and Nikolai was fascinated to see what lay underneath. A pretty thing, ravishing and hungry in the same breath, begging to feed and get fed. The corner of his lips twisted up into a private grin as he watched, lips wrapping themselves around a cigarette - god, he loved watching beautiful women put things into their mouths.

Her eyes were trained on something else, clearly unaware that she was being studied from a distance. His eyes flicked over to see her attention drawn by a fool of a lover, subservient. They were fucking, he knew immediately. That woman was too dangerous, too much for some basic Italian mama's boy, and she knew it. His smile widened as she tossed him her jacket and led herself away from him.

He was pushing his way past Jockey and Cole before he realized he was standing, the light-headedness of the coke and booze making him sway once until he was past the others. They tried to call after him, figuring out where the hell he was going. But this woman was his and he'd be damned if any of these simpletons tried to stop him from getting his dick in the hottest piece of ass in the club.

He looked as sharp as ever, pressed black slacks that held his hips perfectly, the crease running the length of his legs. French-tucked black button up with the top two buttons undone, and of course a black sports coat, neatly trimmed in black satin. He glittered properly with a silver-faced Rolly, a subtle but flashy rhinestone belt by ucci, and a simple chain around his neck. There was a layer of stubble on his cheeks, his black hair swept back on top of his head. He looked much better than the guy this chick was with and the confidence of being able to prove it made his cock stir.

Nikolai skirted the edge of the dancefloor, keeping eyes on both his prey and her pet. He blended in with the crowd easily enough, dressed in all black. He ran a hand through his coiffed hair. It was important to look his best when he charmed a victim. Maybe he would even get her into bed with him by the time the night was through. With all the people on the floor, it wasn't long before Nikolai successfully made his way over to that beautiful body, twisting with the rhythm. He was only feet from her and resisted everyone until it was him at her back, providing her a partner to dance upon. Someone who knew what the fuck they were doing.

He fit into her rhythm too easily, her body claiming him and his space without question, that ass grinding into his hips and groin. Like magic. It allowed him to feel the music through her, losing himself in their rhythm as his face numbed.

After Sonya melted into the crowd, Gio took his seat at the booth alone.  He glanced angrily at the lipstick mark on his drink, knowing he’d better not touch it if he still wanted to be in her good graces that evening.  She was such a cunt but she was his cunt, and that counted for something.  The rejected martini on the table had begun to condense, and he thought it would be better to not waste it.  He had paid for it after all.  Gio glanced around to make sure no one was really paying attention before knocking back the drink as quickly as he could manage.  Some dribbled out of the corners of his mouth and he sputtered and coughed as he set the empty glass back on the table.  His throat burned, not expecting the kick of alcohol from such a girly looking drink.  Face red with embarrassment, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Sonya missed the entire thing, thankfully.  She would’ve laughed quite a bit but for now, she was distracted.  A delectable creature had wordlessly joined her at the center.  He was a good dancer--and to think that she had almost spurned him!  The way their hips moved together was beyond the typical thirsty grinding she expected in a club like this, and it was a refreshing change.  Had she arrived alone, she would’ve been content to spend the evening with this one instead.  Gio was not a very good dancer, in spite of being quite the show-off.  And his punishment was for only one song.  But he would have to wait longer, at least for two.  She was enjoying herself too much to stop after one.

As the music switched to the next song for a second time, Sonya twisted around to face this dance partner, keeping their bodies close as if they were lovers.  She gave his body a quick glance, a sly smile at the corner of her mouth as she met his eye with a dangerous glint.  Then, taking one step backward, she turned away and headed back toward the booth where Gio sat.

Such a good boy.

Sonya came back to the table, face flushed, and said nothing to Gio as she took the gin and tipped it against her lips.

“Who the fuck was that.”  Gio’s tone was angry, though restrained.  Jealous.  Always so jealous.  Sonya said nothing, but rolled her eyes and turned away from him to face the dancefloor again.  Knowing how much he hated being ignored.

“Uh--hello?”  He moved out of the booth went to her side “I said--Who. The. Fuck. Was. That?”  Sonya took another sip of gin before turning to him with a steely look.

“Please don’t embarrass me here.”  She said cooly, still avoiding his question.  If he had half a brain he'd know she was just dancing.  Like she always did, with people she didn’t know.  But Gio was vulnerable and looking for provocation.  Typical.

“Just answer the question, Sonya.”  Now he took a commanding tone--and that was a mistake.

He pulled after her as she left him suddenly, grasping her hands but allowing her fingers to slide through his hands. A pleased smile broke free and Nikolai let his prize walk away, knowing better than to chase just yet. There was a game to be played and Nikolai knew the rules all too well to fall victim to her. He remained in the crowd, blending in with the rest of the bodies that didn't matter to him. For now.

The mass of bodies around him, pressed into him, presented him with a freshly shaven young adonis, blonde, coiffed, and very drunk. The new dance partner tossed his hips into his lap, laced long fingers into Nikolai's hair in a familiar way that distracted too much from the song. But, oh, that rump against his cock was oh so nice. One song passed, the ending fed into the intro of the other skillfully. Nikolai's eyes flashed towards the place where she left the floor, inspecting the situation from afar. He couldn't see much except for the gelled tips of Pauly D's hair and the condescending expression on her face as a result of whatever was happening. A second song and the grinding of a warm body on him, hands on his chest now, deep kissing with a whiskey flavored tongue. A terrible attempt at seduction. Despite the taste of liquid courage on this new piece of candy in his hands, gripping fingers that made his member sing, green eyes kept flicking over to where she had disappeared to.

So he detached from the other man, leaving the blonde there confused and swaying by himself with nothing to remember Nikolai by. Patiently, he weaved his way through the crowd of sweating, grinding people until he could see her again, the expression painted on her beautiful, hard face reading nothing but annoyance pointed at that same Guido motherfucker he had watched tailing her before. He smiled, amused as the situation unfolded.

Guido had hard eyes, but it paled in comparison to the steely look she was giving him back. Nikolai stepped through the crowd, sidestepping a couple of girls in cheap mini skirts and margaritas. He strolled casually up to the woman whom had aroused him so much, and stood directly in Guido's line of sight to her, an intimate distance that was appropriate for rubbing salt in wounds about to be made.

"This your man?" Nikolai asked with a tilt of his head in Guido's general direction. He could almost hear the blood boiling, and Nikolai kept smiling, eyeing the glass in the woman's delicate hand. "Seems like kind of a bitch to me."

Her eyes widened as the man approached them, and she hid her smile behind her drink when he drew near to her.  His question almost made her laugh out loud.  It was a hell of a pickup line, ballsy and rude.

Effective.

"Excuse me--"  Gio stared incredulously at the intruder, and took a step closer to him.  "Excuse me.  Can I fuckin' help you?"  If possible, the red on his face deepened a shade or two.  It seemed he would have the outlet he was looking for.

Sonya sighed and rolled her eyes, taking another sip of gin.  When the man she had been dancing with called Gio a bitch, she almost spat out her drink.

"Did--did you just call me a bitch?"  He gave the other man's shoulder a shove.  Sonya took a step back.  "The fuck is your issue?  You come over here, ask my girl if I am her man,"

As Gio continued to talk, Sonya looked over his head and made eye contact with the other man.  "No."  Her lips twisted with a smile.

"--call me a bitch and--"  Gio stopped mid-sentence after talking over Sonya.  He spun around to her.  "What?  What did you just--  Did you just say no?"  She almost pitied him for the pathetic look on his face, and it reminded her of the look on his face earlier that night.  Pity he couldn't behave.  At the moment he seemed caught between wanting to turn the other man into pulp, and figuring out why Sonya had just denied that they were together.

It was precious almost.  But he had begun to bore her.

Nikolai felt the other man's breath on his face as he squared him up to size. It made him smile, his heart racing and fingers twitching to curl and deck him. Patience, precious. Their mouths were terribly close, noses almost touching, the other's chest puffed like a rooster and jaw set rigid. A deep shade of red that only pressure on the brain could bring; a bulging vein in his forehead. In most other situations, Nikolai's cock would have lifted and pressed against the zipper of his slacks. He liked the aggressive, straight ones the most. The ones who tried to hide what they really wanted behind a guise of toxic masculinity. Nikolai liked to breathe that shit in and spit it out when he was done with them.

He saw why this woman was attracted to him. But she knew she was too good for him. Why did she stay?

That smile only widened when Guido put his hands sharply on his shoulders, pushing him back. He should have expected as much from such a little bitch. There it was again, that urge to push him against a wall and grind hips with him angrily until he gave in. Too bad he was proving himself so insecure. Nikolai stumbled back a few steps, amused by the distance, and feeling the Guido's strength. That one shove got him thinking fast and his eyes scanned the tables nearby in the dim flashing lights of the bar. Bottles, glasses, straws, ice cubes and puddles of water.

When the woman he had chased back from the dance floor answered Nikolai's original question, Nikolai laughed loudly. He watched as the other man whipped around on her, but was too focused on the euphoria of knowing that she had just chosen Nikolai over the Italian stallion over here. His skin felt warm and the high made him feel like he was floating a few inches off the ground. He was feeling lucky, electric, capable.

With the Guido's attention back on the dark-haired beauty, Nikolai watched her eyes from over the other's shoulder. His prize was a ten, and he was enjoying the curve of her immensely. Tight pants that hugged her in all the right places kept his interest and that teasing neckline that showed him the shape of those tits... He didn't attempt to hide his enjoyment from behind her lover's back. Several times he caught her eye, acknowledging their interests in each other.

After several moments, Guido began to notice her drifting gaze. He spun around with renewed vigor and got back into Nikolai's face with insults aimed at his sexuality, his manliness, his cowardice. Another shove that made Nikolai smirk and fill with rage. But now his veins were filled with the need to prove himself the better companion, that same drug that filled the brat in front of him. Oh well.

Nikolai lost his footing again, but this time a tabletop caught his momentum as he stumbled. The glassware and bottles rattled and rocked back and forth as his collided with them. A beer bottle with a quarter of its contents toppled into his hand like fate. Excitement mounted in him as the idea flourished into fruition; Nikolai swing the bottle down hard on the head of the other man, who was trying to finish the job. It was a fast thing - glass shattering all over the Italian lover, the bottle cracking in his hand with a pop and biting the flesh between Nikolai's thumb and index finger.

As expected the Guido boy dropped like a stone to the floor of the club in a ring of glass. Blood burst forth from a fresh wound on the back of the kid's head as he cradled himself on the floor of the club. Nikolai got caught up in the thought of just how filthy that floor would be, how sticky, and yet there the other crouched like a beaten child, complaining about the pain in a slurred voice that reeked of losing consciousness. It was all very funny to him.

"Want to leave?" He turned his smirk back up to the beauty he won, tossing the bloodied remainder of the bottle - now in two large pieces held together by his hand - down on the bar floor.

While Gio was getting increasingly hostile, Sonya took a few steps backward to watch at a distance.  She had suspected that her time at this club was quickly coming to an end.  His shouting was beginning to draw the attention of the patrons closest to them, and will undoubtedly be alerting bouncers.  If they weren't already aware and heading their way.  She took the time that Gio was distracted with provoking her dance partner to collect her jacket, still holding the glass of gin in her hand.  By the time she looked back up, her dance partner had been pushed against a tabletop.

Then there was the crash and Gio was on the floor in a mess of blood and glass.

A smile spread across her face and she could feel the rush of adrenaline push through her body as their eyes connected.  On the one hand, this dance partner could be a very dangerous man.  On the other, he offered an injection of excitement much more than poor Gio.

As an answer, she threw back the remainder of her drink, set it on the table and walked away from the scene.  When she had gotten a little distance away she threw a glance back to him to make sure he had taken the hint, then continued her trajectory out the front door.

He shook as much glass out of his hand as he could, droplets of blood spattering the floor as he flicked his hand. Nikolai watched the girl press her way through the crowd, half expecting to see her fear in her steps away from him - it wouldn't be the first time. He was pleased beyond measure when that face turned and found him again with a smirk, an egging forward.

On the ground nearby, Lover Boy was swooning and trying to get back to his feet, reminding Nikolai that it was time to leave. He dipped around the kid on the ground and scooped up a drink napkin as he made his way towards the front of the club after his dance partner. Adrenaline was pumping hot through him igniting the high again. He guffawed a quick report of laughter as a bouncer pushed roughly past him and headed towards that edge of dancefloor he had just abandoned; Nikolai found urgency in his stride and managed to push his way to the doors where his brown-haired beauty was waiting for someone to let her through the narrow doorway clogged with plebeians. She was royalty, he was convinced.

Nikolai pressed his face into her loose hair by her ear, inhaling the numbing scent of clove and earthy flowers in her locks. "What's your name, love?" He smiled against her skin before she had the chance to pull away from him - which she undoubtedly would as the crowds thinned and the line of people became more aggressive in their seeking of a destination - in or out.

His breath in her hair sent a thrill through her.  There was caution in the back of her mind but she pushed it away.  Instead of answering him she threw a quick glance over her shoulder.  A look filled with a challenge and undercurrents of seduction.  The push of the crowd by the door saw them separated by a few people and she turned back toward the exit, knowing he would be following close enough behind.

As soon as she was greeted by the cool blast of air from the outdoors her hand was reaching for the pack of clove cigarettes in her jacket.  Still walking, Sonya took one into her mouth and looked for an empty spot in the parking lot to stand and wait.  She fished around in her jacket pocket for a lighter but her hand closed around a set of keys instead.

Ah, shit.  She'd have to get her car from Gio's later.  Whatever clothing she left at his place would have to be her parting gift to him.  She wasn't about to negotiate a day to visit and collect them.
