Dom was feeling a little bit of trepidation as he approached the office building, following his conversation with Kerr the previous night. Nothing he'd heard about the Dark Angel made him think this would be a pleasant discussion, but one which needed to happen.

And he had told Kerr he would go in with an open mind, so he would try - his animal side was wary though.

He had called up to make an appointment, although the person he spoke to seemed reluctant to get the time booked in, especially at such short notice. Last night he'd gone casual, since Kerr was no longer a leader of the city and more of a friend. Saraekiel, however, was a District Leader, and not just any - he was Dom's replacement. So the shifter wore a smart, dark grey suit, teamed with a dark blue shirt and tie which brought out a hint of colour in the grey of his eyes. Caden had burst out laughing when he'd seen him, since it had been so long since he'd seen Dom make an effort with his appearance, but he shut up quickly when Dom reminded him of the position he'd been in when Caden had come to live with him.

The dragon tattoo on his neck was just visible under his collar since his hair was too short to hide it at all, a sign of his previous position in the city. Before they had been ripped apart by location rather than offering proper support to those who needed it with the necessary knowledge behind that support.

Dom stepped out of the taxi, smoothing a hand over his suit to remove any potential wrinkles as he eyed up the impressive looking building. It had none of the classic architecture some of the older buildings in the city did, but it had clean lines and looked like it was built to be imposing.

Or maybe Dom just got that impression because he knew who worked inside.

His shoes clicked on stone outside as his tall form moved into the building and he pushed the door open effortlessly before approaching the reception desk.

"I have an appointment with District Leader Saraekiel. My name is Domink Lowe," Dom said, his voice low and rough. He stood up straight, one hand slipping into his trouser pocket in a relaxed pose.

Saraekiel stood before the floor to ceiling glass wall of his office and took in the view. the North may not be the most beautiful district in the city but it was his. The silhouette of cranes constructing building showed that infrastructure was once again on the rise in the north, which meant money and growth for those that lived there which in turn meant security, For too long the North had been left to rot and its people abused, neglected and overlooked.

The ringing of his phone had him turning away from the view and moving to his desk.

"Hello?" His grey eyes narrowed slightly as the lobby receptionist informed him of the arrival of his next appointment. "Send him straight up. Thank you."

Domink Lowe. He didn't know much about him except that he was ex oligarch and had been the representative of the city werewolves, and then, after the oligarchy collapsed, claimed the North as his district, before then abandoning both werewolves and district without a backwards glance.

He would have declined him an appointment, except that he was curious. What did he want? but more importantly who sent him? Jake McCloud maybe? That damn vampire was still messing with his district and with the Dark Wolf Clan. He owed Keynigh another visit and this one may not be as cordial as the last.

He flicked his eyes around the room and was pleased with what he saw. Shae had done well.

The room was a large u shape, with the lift opening up into the open end of it. In the center of the room and up against the left wall was his desk made from metal and glass, it was sleek and very modern looking and had two office chairs in front of it, his computer and phone on top and cabinets to the side. Beside that was a small office bar-fridge and sideboard containing a coffee machine with mugs and a decanter of whiskey with some glasses. opposite that was a comfortable leather lounge seating area consisting of two, three seater, curved lounges, positioned around a circular wooden coffee table so that they were facing one another. Up against the closed section of the room there was another but smaller seating area with two lounge chairs and a small table that was positioned close to the glass walls and a chaise lounge with its own coffee table.

He stood before the main lounge area and the lifts, his back to the elevator and looked out at the view once more as he waited for his guest. he was dressed in tailored black pants, black shoes and a white cotton long sleeved shirt. over this he wore a dark blue sleeveless v necked vest, his dark chestnut brown hair was left to tumble around his shoulders as usual.

As the elevator pinged he turned so that he was back lighted by the windows behind him and smiled at his guest as he entered his office.

"Mr Lowe I presume." He took a few steps forward and offered his hand in greeting

Dom followed the receptionist's directions to the list and gently straightened the cuffs of his shirt whilst he waited for the smooth ride to take him upstairs. He wasn't sure what he expected to see when the doors opened, he hadn't been able to find out huge amounts about the new District Leader, but what he had heard he hadn't overly liked.

Still, that was all hearsay.

Dom stepped out of the lift, giving his host a polite smile in return and a nod of his head.

"That's right. District Leader Sarakiel?" Dom responded, reaching out to meet the Dark Angel's handshake with a firm grip (but not trying to squeeze hard enough to cause pain). His body temperature naturally ran a little higher than normal so it was a warm grasp.

"Congratulations on achieving your position, I understand it's relatively recent?" Dom asked after casting his grey eyes around the room to get his bearings before settling his gaze on the beautiful creature before him.

Intense was the first word that came to mind when he looked upon Dominik Lowe for the first time, masculine, confident and sexy were the next three. He could see why he had been chosen to be an Oligarch, power and strength radiated from him, not a physical thing but a strength of core, of spirit and personality. He had expected something softer, weaker; a vampire lackey, a lickspittle with little spine of their own. The fact that on first appearance he seemed anything but, both intrigued and slightly unsettled him.

"Please, Saraekiel is more then fine" he said as he returned the handshake, liking the firmness of Dominik's hold, there was nothing worse then shaking hands with a limp fish. He acknowledged the rest of what Dominik said with a pleasant smile and small nod of his head as he guided the man to the lounge. "Please, make yourself comfortable". He then indicated the coffee machine and small fridge with a wave of his hand. "Can I get you anything? Coffee, tea, water or a soda?"

He would wait for Dominik to reply before walking over and either prepares his own coffee or gets both his and Dominik's drink before returning to the lounge and placing the drinks on the table then taking the seat opposite his guest.

He leaned against the leather material at his back, hating how it pressed against his wings, squishing them. Knowing it to be a weakness he purposely pushed himself deeper into it as he spread his arms along the back of the lounge and smiled warmly at Dom.

"So tell me Mr Lowe. Why do I have the honour of your visit?"
