JAKE MCCLOUD: THE STRONG CHOICE FOR CENTRAL

With the campaign for Central District in full swing, many are calling into question why?
District Leader Jake McCloud has done a lot of good for the people of the city. After purging a nasty group of Sabbat vampires from within our very own city, he was appointed to be the Oligarch for Vampires. Even when the Oligarchy disbanded under questionable and mysterious circumstances, District Leader McCloud continued to provide invaluable service to all of us here in city central, fearlessly taking up the mantle of leadership and striving toward a vision for a better city - a winning city.
In the face of gross inaction, Jake McCloud led a heroic siege against the criminals and lowlifes that overrun the West District. A move that some sources insist was aggressive, but voices in this paper and on the streets disagree. “These demons are thugs,” one vampiric citizen stated, “They need to go back to wherever they came from.” Astonishingly, District Leader McCloud seemed the only one willing to take matters into his own hands and clean the streets. Many are calling for a city-wide effort to rid the area of demonic influence.
“Nothing good comes from them types,” a concerned citizen says, “You can’t even tell who the demons are - could be anyone! One night you could be playing cards with your upstairs neighbor, and the next night he could be eating your soul!” It is a well-known fact that demons have the ability to remove and consume the souls of the innocent. Studies show that two out of three demons have or will nonconsensually steal a soul. “If they eat souls, how can you even trust them around the rest of us?” an anonymous individual asked, “Jake didn’t do enough if you ask me.”
Certain anonymous sources state that District Leader McCloud had plans to enact a mandatory identification system to mark and register every demon in Central, the West, and eventually the entire city. A system like this would make sure police and officials could effectively monitor and intervene when your average citizens are at risk. “Jake’s making this city safe again,” one woman commented, “What’s that other guy doing about that?” Whether or not District Leader McCloud’s opponent will offer similar protections for the non-demonic populace is unknown.
As things stand now, the Metropolis is flourishing under its current leadership. Like they say; “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.
