Hello everyone. I am nineteen years old, and currently in college. I hope to become an author when I grow up, so whenever I role play, I would happily accept criticism on my literary style. Oh, and another thing, I am homosexual. I just wanted to get that out there, because I know at least one person is going to ask why my characters, or the way I write is like that of this. And I'm Asian. (OMG?!?! KAWAII! DESU! BAKA!) I'm Chinese, not Japanese, so don't spam me with that stupid crap. While I am writing stuff about myself, I guess I will also explain my personality. I love to read. I would rather read a book than watch a movie. That pretty much summed up a third of my personality. I also hate people who bitch about crap when no one cares. Okay, you don't like Twilight, I get it, but that doesn't mean you have to make an entire website of flaming the book. Okay, I get it, you hate Trolls, so what, don't need to Blog about it on Facebook. I also hate emos. And wapanese.That is the gist of it. Other than that, I am a very optimistic person. And a Grammar Nazi... emphasis of the Nazi.

My favorite books are the Sword of Truth series, Matt Brooks Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, and many others that I probably forgot. I play Fallout 3, Dawn of War 40K, and an endless amount of role play games. Mainly MMOs. I am the stereotypical Asian. I spend all day on the computer. My favorite type of music is Pop. I am currently listening to Lady Gaga, Britney Spears (Haters gonna hate), and Michael Jackson. I do not watch anime, nor do I read manga.

The role plays I play are usually Science Fiction, and Romance. Drama too. An occasional Fantasy there and here, but Sci-Fi and Romance rules my domain. So if you can recommend a Sci-Fi or Romantic role play that is still open to characters, tell me. Now, I have to tell you all the truth. I don't make role plays. I suck as a GM. I did it once, it sucked horribly. And I might as well say that my characters are the kings of faggotry. No matter what role play, I always unconsciously try to add romance into the plot. Gay romance. So I will say before hand, sorry. That is pretty much it. Sorry that I didn't have a epic post like most of the people here, but this is all I can do. Hope it is enough.

Glad to have you here on Roleplay City. I'm sure you'll do well here, especially in the Infusco forum. About 95% of the characters created here are gay, or bisexual, so you're not going to stand out.

I recommend Infusco to you - though do read up on the style of vampires on Infusco, because there is no glitter here, just darkness. I'm one of those people who consider Twilight rubbish (mainly due to the piss-weak whiny female character, not the glittering vampires), though I wouldn't be bothered building an entire website or blog about my contempt for it. Infusco style vampires and Masquerade vampires are the only type allowed. If you don't know about the Masquerade, I recommend you stick to the basic Infusco vampire rules, if you want to travel down that path. There are more supernatural types than just vampires - if you look at the Species Charts on Infusco, you should be able to find something of interest.

Infusco began life (and still dominantly exists) as a yaoi forum, but more people are into the romance/drama than the sex itself (though do be aware you will come across explicit content).

I've got to say that no matter what forum you're in, there'll always be gay romance based RP, so you should be happy wherever you settle.

We've had a couple of dabbles into the science fiction forums. I would like to have one here on RPC, but so far attempts have been unsuccessful. I'm sure there's a sci-fi setting I can build that will capture the imagination of members. Apparently space-stations, spacecraft and dystopic future cities are not it. We'll get there one day (soon, I hope). Each setting I built was inspired by Blade Runner, then Firefly, then Marvel/DC - to no success. Members came, exclaimed over it, then left it to die after the shine wore off I'm thinking of building a forum inspired by Fallout3 because that game and world is freaking awesome!

I don't know if you're into D&D or AD&D or any of that kind, but Halflight is for you if you like your fantasy Elves, Dwarves and the like. So far that RP forum is a little empty, but I'm planning on building it up a little by putting some of my characters in there and hauling some people in there with me.

By the way, you might consider yourself a "Grammar Natzee" but I consider myself a Spelling Nazi, so if you use chatspeak or cute words like 'ghey' you should stop it. I'm not so shitty about it if I see it in OOC or in the CBox in the forums (the yellow and white thing at the bottom of each RP area if you scroll ALL the way down), but I would prefer not to see it at all.

And what's so funny about the User CP?

Hiya!! I'm Luna. It's nice too see some new faces on the boards. And like D said, we're not too picky about the gay romance thing. In fact all of my characters are interested in whoever tickles their fancy at that time.

We're a pretty accepting bunch of people here who, in my experience here , are all willing to RP with just about anyone who has an idea or plot. You'll fit just right in!!!
