Mai put the last book down.
1 down... She paused looking around at the stacks of books around here. I\'m never holding something off this long again. Her lack of excersize made it hard to pick up the next stack of books. she sat down and grabbed the top book on the stack. It had a blue cover with green letters. She read the cover, Torturous and slow deaths wonderful she thought.
Her eyes followed the violent words. She put the book down to relax for a minute. Mai scanned the empty library and took in a deep breath. Just the way she liked it.
Mai leaned forward taking a big whiff of her candle. she got up and stretched like a cat. She looked at one of the huge stacks of books.
I don\'t remember She picked up the big book outlined in snake skin. It had bold red letters saying something in a different language Mai wasn\'t familiar with. She put her index finger on the spine and traced the scales, bumps, and divits.
She set the book down and returned to her studies. A few hours later the stomping of a student made her ears twitch. She looked at the door waiting to see the enraged student.
