"Right you are," David grinned, propelling the mortal to the right, to the entrance of his bedroom. He'd turned on an entry light when he got through the door for Bill to see by, but not a lot of light seeped into the bedroom from that small bulb so he made sure to steer the boy with firm hands and careful steps. He walked him up beside the bed and switched on the touch lamp sitting upon the set of drawers on the left side of it (he slept on the left, in the bed, because it was closest to the doorway and farthest from the sliding glass doors), hitting it only once because it was the lowest setting. It could be hit twice more for increasing brightness (a fourth touch would turn it off) but the vampire was happy with the soft golden glow that lit up his spacious bedroom with just one touch. Bill would be able to see everything clearly.
With a gentle kiss to the side of the mortal's throat, David pulled away from behind him and circled around the end of the bed to the curtains across the room. "Pull the bed down," he advised as he worked on opening up the multiple layers of curtains, expecting Bill would have no trouble pulling down the quilt and top sheet on his bed. It wasn't really even made, the spot where he'd got out at the start of the evening was evident, the pillow still slightly indented by his head. There was plenty of room at the foot of the bed for the covers to be flung on the carpet, or folded down, if Bill was a neat freak.
Once the curtains had all been pushed to the left, David opened the door and stepped out onto the deck. There wasn't a great deal of extra room in this area, for the tub was large, with a seat in each of the four corners, and there were walls either side of it. He'd considered making the lattice wall on the far side a solid one once, too, but had decided he'd be less of a paranoid vampire and just grow some nice thick vines on lattice instead. It had worked well, for there were minsicule gaps only amongst the wall of green and white flowers, the scent of jasmine strong and heady as he leaned to the wall on the right and switched the hot tub on, and then moved the cover off it, sliding it behind and out of the way.
Although the weather was warm, he didn't want Bill to get a cold from being in water (essentially) outdoors at night, so David set the temperature to what the mortal would feel as lukewarm when he first got in, though it might feel much warmer after they'd played around a bit - especially compared to the cooler air outside. He also started up the jets and turned some of the underwater lights on, giving the deck area a greenish glow that speckled and flashed as the turbulent surface of the water bubbled and rolled over the light. The smell of chlorine permeated the scent of jasmine as the jets started swirling everything around, but it was a necessary evil under such circumstances; Bill might be reassured by the fact that he wasn't climbing into a tub without chemicals that would allow bacteria from previous occupants to fester and grow.
There were fairy lights woven into the lattice and vines but David didn't turn them on, for he was happy with the gentle lighting and he sometimes thought the fairy lights were a bit too much. Too romantic, too corny, like he was trying to seduce his partner into marrying him or something; he rarely turned them on. Stepping back into the room, he clapped his hands together and rubbed them, a mischievous smile dancing about his mouth. "Right! That will be warm in a couple of minutes," he said of the gently humming tub at his back, "I guess we just need to get us ready, now." He reached up and pulled his hair free of the tie and shook it out as he walked past Bill, through his walk-through robe and into his bathroom. He dropped the tie in a container he had on the sink and walked back out to his robe area, toeing his shoes off and kicking them into their spot before he removed the rest of his clothes and put them in the hamper.
Grabbing two thick, clean blue towels from the cabinet beneath the sink, he then walked back into the bedroom, having accomplished all his tasks at lightning speed thanks to his celerity. What Bill would have seen was a fully clothed man walk into darkness one second and then emerge holding towels over his pubic area and otherwise completely naked the next. The vampire's grin was cocky as he said, "Aren't you ready yet?" in a gently chastising way. It was a good excuse to go over and help Bill disrobe, so he walked over to do exactly that, nonchalantly dropping the towels on the bed before turning and looking at his guest, ready to help him get prepared for the water in all manner of ways but waiting for a signal to initiate.
